I have the iPhone 11 and tbh there isn’t much of a difference from the phone I had before which was the iPhone 7. The 11s camera is better and it’s larger but that’s about it. There’s also Face ID but it’s really nothing special. I’d stick with the 6s until it breaks. Just my opinion! 😃

moose Even the display being “bad” is subjective. We know that lower resolution on a display that is mere inches big doesn’t matter and will offer better performance with graphics, and will be easier on the battery. OLEDs have burn-in issues as well.

I upgraded from the 6s to the 11 and I am shocked. I was having to charge my 6s twice a day (it was only 2 years old) it obviously feels a lot nicer and the camera quality is astonishing!
Is the screen any better on the 11? I’m considering upgrading from 6s but don’t know to get 11 or 11 pro

It’s much more simple and cleaner in my opinion, but you don’t have that much customisation on your homescreen like on android but i don’t mind that and the battery life is amazing i get more out of my day then my previous samsung that had 3500mah.
I am coming from a Samsung Galaxy A7 and planning to upgrade to X or 11 next yr. How's the LCD display? That's my only concern tbh

Heliux glad you like it! I made the switch 5 years ago and never wanted to go back. Tried a lot of Android flagships (as I work in a electronics store) but they just can’t give me the same smooth experience.
My wife gets two days of battery life on her 11, and I can definitely get a day and a half on my Pro Max. If I turned my brightness down I’d get two also. These phones have been amazing!

I went from the iPhone X to the 11 lavender 128g and I’m loving it, it’s been amazing and if I was able to choose this phone again I would in a heartbeat!!!
It’s the end of September and I got my iPhone 11 in February (8 months), it works just as incredibly since the day I got it.
Super fast. The speakers are jaw dropping in comparison to my old LG. Cameras are beautiful. The screen, despite being an LCD, is beautiful. I’ve never noticed any problems with it and watching movies/videos are awesome. My sister has the Pro Max and I honestly can’t see a difference in day to day use.
This had me swaying between two different emotions every time you said a good and bad thing, I was like “wow yes! That’s amazing” to “aww man that sucks”

And it's not really a bad thing.. I kinda feel like it was more of a correction than a mistake... The naming on the 10's were dumb, Xs Xs Max, Xr....
Nothing in the name really shows what's better... OTHER than if you know Iphone you know the S is the updgraded X... then you'd be like "whats the R for?!?!"
So now you have a better naming scheme.. only real problem is now the base name "11" is the cheaper phone, when that was never the case before. But if you are going to make a series of a phone, it's probably better to have the 11 as the cheaper one, and the 11 PRO making it sound more expansive.. it makes way more sense.
It might get weird again if they continue the S for the next years upgrade... 11s, 11s Pro ?? Maybe it works, just gotta keep that Pro name going foward.

I dont feel like the namings are that bad except "11 pro max", it sounds even more like a dildo than "XS max". They should go back to the + namings, 11pro+ sounds so much better. But apple should ship the pro models with airpods and not earpods, its about time apple stops moneywhoring so much for airpods, i wouldnt feel "pro" if i got an 11 pro with lightning earpods...

Same here. Filled up all 128GB on mine, charging port is all but busted, and the battery is severely degraded. I would get a replacement battery, but those have been sitting on a shelf for years and are also degraded.
Eddie R Switch to dark mode, keep your brightness halfway or less unless absolutely necessary, disable raise-to-wake, disable background app refresh on everything but your most frequently used apps, disable automatic updates, keep bluetooth OFF, not just greyed out, enable optimized battery charging. These phones can last decades but Apple won’t continue to make batteries for them because they want you to buy the newest model. So keep your battery lasting as long as possible.

I came from the iPhone XS to the 11, and for like the first couple of hours the bezels bothered me but I got used to it really quick. I love my 11 and I got it in green too. The screen size is perfect, and battery life is tremendously good 👍🏾

Saimo I mean do u have an 11 or 11 pro or pro Max 🤔. Do u have a Xr, XS, or XS MAX🤔 a X or an 8 or below 🤔. It’s only a dumb because u think so. I got what I, ME, not u, me. I got what I like. If I want to upgrade to the newest phone but not the “pro” model than I can. And I did. The 11 suits my needs just fine. Iain’t finna sit up there and waste $1000 on a phone for a “higher quality display ” or a telephoto camera (which I rarely used in the XS). I don’t need that shit. I got what the fuck I like and what fits MY needs. Fuck outta with that bull shit. And I prefer LCD over OLED cause of the PWM. U use what u want and I FUCKING use what the fuck I WANT💯
LuHDZocker only thing I really miss is 3D Touch. I like the aluminum more than stainless steel (scratches to easily) the 11 is still manageable for me. Ik have no problems with it. PWM is bothering with the XS. I’m good and happy with my 11. The battery life is MUCH better and the camera is a nice upgrade. Rarely used the telephoto but I use the ultra wide camera a lot

I’ve had an iPhone 8 since it was released. Contract was up so decided to upgrade to this years model.
Even as a big Apple fan, I didn’t realise that the 11 was actually the takedown model rather than the standard model.
I’ve already ordered my 11 Pro, which I found out afterwards was a great idea. My thinking at the time was that I’ll just treat myself.
It was also a little strange that the 11 was going for around €300 and the 11 Pro was around €700.

Just picked up an 11 yesterday. So far I’m really enjoying it. It’s taking a bit of getting used to. I have been with Android for a long time. The last iPhone I had was a 6s. I was using a stylo 6 before the 11, and definitely an upgrade from that.
Coming from an XS Max I love it.
Screen is still gorgeous and battery life is even better.
The camera is incredible and the ultra wide is a nice addition. I didn’t use the telephoto lens enough and honestly portrait mode on the wide angle is better all around anyways.
Not disappointed at all and the savings in money is huge.

The top TH-camrs just don't understand that in the real world most users couldn't care less about bezels and wouldn't notice any difference between the OLED and LCD screens.

Upgraded from 8 to 11 and im satisfied, the battery on the 8 was already dying faster so the upgrade was useful. I love how the phone can make calls... it just blows my mind😂😂😂
So the iPhone 11 is like “iPhone X 2: the prequel”?
I went from 8 Plus to 11 and I am really happy with my decision. I first thought it was not a big upgrade, because the price for both phones in new only has slight difference (about $100$), but turns out very different in specs and performance. If you are planning to buy the 8 Plus, save a little more money and just buy this phone! This is absolutely the most worth it iPhone for now even when you compare it to android flagships with similar price.
I noticed the downgrade of the screen resolution at first, but now I am amazed by how good the color accuracy is.
Evian Putra can you share some more differences in experience. I am in the same boat but Apple has smartly specced these phones for us 8plus users. We literally lose higher res screen and telephoto lens moving to 11 while ‘upgrading’, making pros the only genuine upgrades. I don’t want to spend that much for pro and 11 confuses me. Do you feel missing anything on 11 vs the 8plus? Thanks!
kanishka baronia I’m not really missing anything from the 8 Plus. Everything in the 11 Plus is better except the missing telephoto lens and lower screen resolution. thought I will be missing the telephoto lens, but in fact I can still use the digital zoom instead and the result nearly has no difference (I’ve noticed that the 8 Plus telephoto lens is not good also especially in low light), while I find the wide angle lens is more useful tho. As I mentioned before, I did notice the lower resolution screen in the 11, but only few hours later I got used to and can’t tell any difference unless I bring them side by side. (326 ppi is great. In fact, I heard somewhere that human eye can only see at max. 300-400 ppi).
The upgrades are:
1. Faster and Newer Processor, more RAM
2. Face ID, Animoji and more.
3. More modern screen ratio and look.
4. Dolby Atmos audio (which I find quite interesting)
5. Video Stabilization
6. Stereo Microphone and Audio Zoom
7. The 128 Gb is only $50 more, it’s a very great deal knowing my 64 Gb 8 Plus is nearly full.

You’re wrong. My last 3 phones had all screen displays. I never notice the bezels on the 11 until these videos where they get mentioned. The battery life is amazing though, you’re spot on there. This thing just won’t quit.

I have upgraded from an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 11, and I can’t find anything wrong with the 11. Nothing glitchy or bad jumped out at me and I think it is a great phone. Maybe it’s because I upgraded from an iPhone 5 but it is still an amazing phone.

Yes it’s worth it but the screen is the same resolution. Both the 8 plus and 11 have have 720. Unless you go for the pro models

Nikhil Kumar it’s not pinkish red it’s straight up red red.. Corvette red, I wanted the green because I already had a red XR but they were out. Honestly you can’t go wrong with either color. I get a lot compliments about the phone when I take out.

Nax B I use it a lot and I mean a lot, for work and then when I get home I’m constantly on PUBG. Its better than the XR, I get about 6-7 hrs maybe a little less.

I just got my iPhone 11 yesterday and I can already tell it is the perfect fit for me, it is big, has great video and picture quality, and it has many added features that aren’t in the iPhone XR

I love this challenge always makes me smile.
I swapped from the 8 to the 11. pretty big leap and it took me some time to adjust. My main concern was the photos because i'm a photographer and it's a night an day difference. I notice that the ultra-wide has a bit worse stabilization than the normal wide angle (if you're concerned with shooting video) and the grain on the ultra-wide is a bit noticeable, but when you're shooting in daylight it's not terrible, and after post-processing, you should be good. If anyone else uses the 11 for photography, I recommend a separate dslr app for your camera, because the default app lacks a lot of "Pro" features for serious photography. For everyday users I believe that the camera is amazing and more than enough to last you a few years down the line.

Metro Boom I’ve decided to wait for the new one later this year. The display on the 11 is worse than the display resolution on my current iPhone 8, so I’d be getting a downgrade 😂

I came off an 8 Plus and I love the 11! And the bezels aren’t an issue if you put a case on it.

I got my iPhone 11 few days ago and I think it's amazing! I had an iPhone 6s so the switch is really noticiable. What I like the most is the camera, it's just super clean, fast and I love it. And I can't believe how good the battery life is on this phone. I still have 83% after 12 hours of using, it's amazing.. I love this phone so much, I don't know is that beacuse I had a really bad phone for a while, but I would recommend it. ❤️

PJH199 1 Not everyone sees display changes or cares. I upgraded from the 7+ to the XR shortly before the 11 came out and it does not bother me one but i love it
Been using the phone for a few days now and love it. Price is great , and I got it in a color lavender which I think is so cute, the battery lasts all day, the back facing camera is phenomenal. Night mode camera is actually amazing. It’s fast , I experience no lags.
As for cons, from someone who watches TH-cam a lot! The display is horrible, it’s blurry and coming from an iPhone 6plus , I see the difference with TH-cam thumbnails and videos looking more crisp on the 6plus, the front facing camera is shady and looks like an extreme face blur sometimes. I managed to get a front facing camera picture in the light and it looked great , but in decent light, it does what the back cameras used to do before they fixed that issue of not getting a good shot except in extreme light conditions .
These are my thoughts so far.
I love the iPhone 11! For my taste is it the most beautiful phone this year!

I can say without a doubt the iPhone 11 is the nicest phone I have ever owned. It’s weird saying that cause on paper, I’ve had much nicer phones. This thing is gorgeous and feels great and works flawlessly... I’m in love. I’d really like to have the pro max but my poor wallet couldn’t handle it lol. The 11 is such a fantastic phone.
Coming from someone who traded in her XS Max to for a purple iPhone 11, I don’t regret it at all!! The screen and bezels are fine. I don’t mind bezels.
