      Thank you so much. I used adaptive subdivision as experimental feature for the ocean which I shared in my ocean animation tutorials.

      It would be if it’s a small scene or there’s not much camera movement. For larger scenes spanning real world distances and quite a bit of camera animation, tiling of the ocean plane becomes an issue.
