One feature that the DJI Mic 2 has that the Mic 1 does not have is A.I. noise canceling. From the reviews I've watched, it'll come in handy in certain situations. The downside...if the A.I. noise canceling feature gets overworked like at a high volume event, the quality of the audio drops and it sounds robotic. I was a little surprised they added the thumbwheel on the receiver, yet I like that move and it'll help with screen navigation. Obviously, we're not through January, but from a new tech perspective of 2024, this is a nice start.
what's the difference with the mic 2 you get with pocket 3 creator kit and this kit? what does the stand alone transmitter offer over what you get with pocket 3 creator kit?
How do you find the audio quality when using the DJI Lavalier? Is it the same as recording directly with the Mic2, or is there some difference in your opinion?
Will this work on live videos as well or only for recording video? IE if I go live on Facebook and have the receiver attached to my iPhone... is this now my microphone?
I saw where someone said that if you want to use both mics with the Pocket 3, you have to plug in the receiver to the usb port of the Pocket 3 in order to record in stereo. If you use the built in receiver in the Pocket 3, the 2 mics will record in mono. Do you know if this is correct? If so, this would be very disappointing.
Can you answer a quick question please. I have the DJI Pocket 3 Creator kit. Will that mic connect to this system so I don't need to buy the two mic system? Thanks!
I just bough the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and watched your video on that, great video by the way. If I wanted 2 mics to record into the Pocket 3, would both of these DJI mics connect? Or what do you suggest for dual mic recording on the pocket 3?
You did forget the lav mic have a fixhold under the clip. Like a secure wire. But now you know. It's kind of why this lav comes with 90¤ Did just buy mic1 set. price got lower. Enjoy i. But do think, when used with both mic the one not close to receiver get low and muffled. The inmic sounds perfekt so it's some, hmm, but that's wireless. Nice review
DJI mic 2 had to be THE perfect microphone set, so many expectations, the connexion is now more stable, thanks to the bluetooth connexion, but unfortunately , i hate the new case, feels very cheap and less premium, even mics themselves feels less premium, and the worse is: i hoped (and i'm sure much peoples like me) that DJI makes it compatible with sony cameras ! by adding a MI Shoes adapter, to be able to connect the receiver to a sony camera body without a 3.5mm jack cable, it can be a serious selling point, especially when you see all content creator using sony cameras, so now, i will keep this mic only for osmo pocket 3 and action 4, and use Sony ECM-W3 for sony cameras. so sad when we try to find the right gear to be the only one you should have in your bag.
I have it ! Interesting features in the Mic 2. I had an old two tx and rx unit from Comica which never gave me good audio, seemed to have an interference issue. The DJI Mic 2 is amazing. I did notice something odd however. When I used one TX with my Osmo Pocket 3 it worked great but when I put the TX back in the charger box the display did not show it as charging... it was blank. I thought I had a faulty unit but after some fiddling around I finally got it back to display the charging. I have no idea what I did.
Watching your videos costs me alot of money since I trust your reviews and opinions about things. Keep up the great videos!
I appreciate that!
I agree. I recently bought something after I saw one of his video!

Good first look video Shawn. I have just ordered the Mic and receiver combo
Nice 👍
Very nice video! Thank you
Nice sharing video my dear friend
This upgraded version of the DJI Mic offers some nice upgrades. Great unboxing and overview of the Mic 2. Thanks for sharing.
Can it be used in pocket 2 and action 3?

Will it connect to action3?
Sean - Can you use the DJI Mic2 with a GoPro Hero 11 without any other adapters ?
Can you store transmitter with a wind-screen attached into charging case ?
No
Does the charging case work with the DJI 30-watt USBC charger?
Are you able to connect the mic that came with the Pocket 3 to the receiver?
Yes. 👍
What camera did you use to record this video? And what’s your overhead video setup?
This video was filmed on an iPhone 14 Pro. I have a boomer attached to the wall above my desk with two small lights.

I would like the new DJI mic 2 but does it connect to GoPro Hero 12?
Yes
I wonder how this Mic 2 compares to the many other mic sets on the market that are up to $200 cheaper.
Does the usb-c pass through allow an external ssd?
Good question I’m not sure about that. I will test it.
Nice video 😊
Thanks 😊
got the 1 tx & rx only if i want an added mic for $99. and a case for $69.99 I am head of the game over the 2 person

Nice review
NICE
not one person talks about how the case is actually metal. Such high quality should be mentioned since most other cases are plastic
Wish they would connect directly to the Drone Controllers.
Wouldn’t that be nice. Maybe that will come with a firmware update.
What a bummer you didn’t let us hear the sound of the Lavalier that’s the only reason I tuned in😂
