I get mine in the mail today. I am so excited to use them
I just ordered one today! Super excited
DJI is aware of some of the issues and is working on a firmware update. I’m hoping it fixes some of these issues because I’m loving all the other features on it. The fact that I can lock the transmitter while it’s recording so it can’t be accidentally turned off by a bride/groom/officiant is insanely useful.
Solid breakdown Sidney, thanks.
Ya those mics are pretty dope......I am sticking with the OG DJI mics for now. My friend did just order those for his film lab channel and I will be using those when I shoot his videos, but I don't use lavs enough the dang Sony ECM-B1M mic is my jam and then K3M with NTG5 in the studio.
I actually really like the transparent design! Also wish I had ordered the Lav mic. It’s all sold out now 🙃
How does the DJI Mic 2 compare to the Rode Wireless Pro? I was about to order the Rode Wireless Pro, but am unsure of which to get now after the release of the DJI Mic 2. I shoot mainly weddings and vlogs. Thanks!
I'm currently testing and compare those two out!
@@SidneyDiongzon lets hope that video isn’t sponsored by DJI, cause it’s a little bit difficult to maintain a neutral opinion if one of the mics comes from a company paying you for the video 💁🏼♂️ Just saying…
Hey does it have the CANON M50 (not mark ii) in the camera settings?
According to Google it should be
Good review.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for your presentation. I am told that the Lav mic is NOT included in the pack.
Correct. It’s an extra $30 I think
DJi mic v2 or Rode wireless pro? what's better?
Currently editing that video!
If I want to record audio of rivers and nature sounds only do I want to make sure I DONT have the noise reduction on?
You would not want to use noise reduction for that. So yeah, make sure it is turned off if you're recording ambient sounds.
@@dans5529 low cut filter off or on for ambient sounds? Thank you 🙏
I LIKE that you did an honest review.
But, Mate, In case you didn’t do any post processing for your audio, Then I think your mic isn’t healthy one. I heard some other reviews, and most of them sounded better. The audio from your mic has an issue. Did you compare it to Mic 1 ?
Sorry 😅
Man, your backdrop is on point! Who’s your interior designer?!?
Some redcoat lol
Bummer that the bluetooth audio sounds inferior. I didn't expect that :( The adapter is a bit too bulky to use with a phone. I might be better off buying the lark m2 instead.
BTW. Thanks for reviewing and comparing audio via bluetooth. I haven't come across it in any other review.
Colin's camera - DJI Action 3 , Colin's asking working with mic 2 ??
What do you REALLY think of the DJI Mic 2???
I'm not sure what you mean by "Listen to the Audio Quality", among all the Wireless Mic at this price range, the DJI sounded the worst. It's not even a subjective thing about sound quality, it just sounded lower quality than others at the similar price range. The mic while never marketed as match, they are not consistent, one sounded darker and another can sound brighter. What's worst is that, these DJI mic are way too bright and thin which is less suitable for spoken words application which is what this mic is used for. I like everything about this mic except the sound quality. Rode wireless go sounded the best but I don't like the form factor and their case seemed "forced" but if I had to choose. I'll go with the wireless go in a heartbeat. Did I mentioned that these DJI Mics are not shielded? Or poorly shielded? They are not a mic company so I understand that, but these are basic.
It seems there may be a real issue with the DJI Mic as Curtis Judd held off on his full review because there actually is a real issue with the sound quality to the point where DJI confirmed they plan to fix in a software update.
That aside, the one thing that bugs me about this mic is it's compatibility with other lav mics.
Rode owns this space. Great effort by DJI but Rode have been doing sound recording for a very long time.
@@bradl2636 I agree.
What do you expect? These reviews get paid from the companies to make good money of 99% who don't get this
oh jeez these comments lol.
Mic 2 > LAV Mic 2 sounds more natural and warm.
Whoa 🤯 awesome video sid I thought you forgot about us 😅pls upload more if you can
I took a nice long break over the holidays! Glad to be back :)
@@SidneyDiongzon glad to have you back as well 😃
Its good bro
It's a total MEH ! Rode all the way
Sidney get some new headphones or speakers as the Mic2 sounds like a hot mess honestly. Why is it your viewers realize this and not you?
RØDE wireless Pro sounds much better..
About to test and compare and find out myself!
How can you do a review for a product that is sponsoring the review wtf, that’s like trusting research published smoking brands
TX sounds like crap. Lav is better... not the best.
Agreed. Not the worst, not the best, but decent.
The DJI Mic 2 sounds terrible, but then again since it's a sponsored video, of course you're going to praise it instead of being real about it
What are you talking about? It sounds good lol
I also talked about the things I don’t like lol
He's not wrong, @SidneyDiongzon . If you can't hear how bad it sounds compared to the competition, or even the DJI Mic 1... Idk man, might need a new set of cans or something.
This sounds like everything else to a normal person.
@@david243121 DJi mic v2 or Rode wireless pro? what's better?
sounds like crap. But what do you expect for this priece
*price
@@SidneyDiongzon thank you
I need to say, the DJI mic 1 sounds a lot better to my ears. A lot more natural, more realistic bass. I would easily sacrifice all the other improvements in favour of the better audio quality!
So I will probably go with the DJI Mic 1 now that's around 200 € 💥
You should've watched Curtis Judds review of it, BIG audio problem. Funny how he is the only one to notice it and talk about it and DJI admitted there is an issue
The main issue I had with the mics was the range when your back is facing the receiver or some obstruction in the way. Other than that it was fine
mic 1 sounded better to me when i did all the test and also saw other peoples reviews. Curtis judd's review was not a ad or sponsorship I'm guessing? or maybe he had a bad mic?
Judd’s video is literally 2 minutes. Honestly feels like it’s not a raw audio cut because of where the highs peak
LOL I bet DJI called and wants their sponsorship money back
