I’m really hoping I haven’t gotten these rules wrong in this video but one thing I do know is that I’ve just set up a Patreon! If you’d like to support my content and get a monthly painting guide in your inbox you can find out more here: www.Patreon.com/tabletophub
So just looking at the raw Line of Sight rule in the Rules of Play Digital Final V1.3 pdf on page 17 at the top, it clearly states LoS is determined by looking at it from above and drawing a line from any part of the attacking models base to any part of the target models base. It does not say anything about the actual models sculpt being used to confirm LoS. The Cover check is simply the same as LoS except done from only the center of the Models base. I believe they worded it clearly with Base because what if you are using a proxie, a customized model, or have the figure not perfectly centered on the base. Would mean you could unfairly gain the advantage in LoS or Cover by placing all your models super off set on their bases and then rotating them to hid them from attacks. Edit: Other than that the info was solid! I would love a short video on how you go about building an army list for a match. And an update on that Fallout 3 Mall terrain!
Absolutely! Hopefully I didn't confuse people by showing the Power Armour card in this one, I was moreso using it to explain those +1 bonuses you can get on armour.
@@MisfitHobbies Think the ones that give me problems are weapons with a lot going on. Explosives for example. Direct hit, radius, different damage types. When a lot comes together it’s kind of hard to read. And I think there were also some “if this than that” kind of cards where I just had to guess what they mean during a game. Can’t think of one specific right now, tho.
Nice job, Sam. I always worry that I'm going to find something I've played wrong when I watch videos like this. Not this time though! As a bonus, you might have also talked about the difference between Line of sight and Cover rules. I have to refresh on that every time I play since they are in some ways the opposite of what I expect them to be.
I am so confused with Prepare and Quick Actions can you do quick actions whenever you want or only on triggers? I am so confused! New war-gamer here btw. Also nice videos btw! Glad you are trying new stuff and the channel is growing

The rule I was getting wrong was the strong armor tokens....they get removed if you are hit not if you take damage. At least I think that is right :)

That was helpful! Could you do one on how to read the cards icons? Especially the more complicated ones give me a headache.
Of course! Do you mean the effect icons that are on some cards? Like broken legs etc

That’s definitely an achievement right there! Oh definitely, I’ll have to clarify that in the next one
Thanks for all that info! I will continue taking notes for the time being!
Great to hear!
Just got done doing a game last night and was doing several of these wrong, thanks for the clarification.
Glad they can help! At the end of the day though if we’re playing and having fun that’s all that matters :)
Hi ! Tanks for your vidéo ! Really clear !
Not a problem! Thank you for watching it ☺️
Thanks Sam! I didn't realise that your broken armour lowers your armour roll! :O
Like I say, as far as I’m aware it does but I could be entirely wrong 😄 no-one from Modiphius has corrected me yet
Great information here! ☢️👍🏽
Thanks so much!

Those are great questions, I’d need to take a look back at the rules but definitely something I’ll try and cover in a future video
You should also go over the HP absorption of power armor.
Yeah someone else had mentioned that, it’ll definitely go in the next one. It’s a rule even I wasn’t aware of
First 😜 Some good points though!
Thanks!!
