Solid advice for list and party building for Wasteland Warfare and just gaming in general. Full stop.
The only point I'd like to add is that the ONLY exception that is WYSIWYG in FOWW is model base size. As per the errata, models equipped in Power Armor must be on the slightly larger base. This is largely because of how movement uniquely works in FOWW (putting the corresponding ruler in front of the base, and then plopping the base at the end) means larger bases get a little extra distance added over smaller bases. This is why a Behemoth can close across the board deceptively quick. Base size also factors in for LOS, obscuring LOS for targeting of models behind, engaging in close combat, and blocking movement. For Super Mutants, those big bases aren't just for show, and plopping an Enclave Lieutenant in Power Armor will really let her Red movement shine!

Hey bud just so you know they changed how armor worked in nuka world. For units like the psycho (and the praetorian in Caesars legion) they changed the light armored rule. Now psychos can wear armor up to value 2 without getting the penalty!

Nice to see fww getting some love. So many guides, even just bat reports, are years old.
I bought the starter box a year or so ago and played it a bit, but I recently bought the children of Atom and have been painting them up. Haven’t played them yet, but they look pretty fun.
Also been building some terrain for FWW. All I have is AoS terrain, so it’d be nice to have some proper fallout type terrain. That said, the weird flesh trees from Warcry sets really do work well with the fallout setting…

Can you Mix Factions? Like could I take some NCR and Brotherhood of steel in the same army?

I’m trying to get into fallout wasteland warfare as I’m a big fan of fallout and I’m wondering how you take factions/characters from the games and convert them onto tabletop.
For example I’m trying to do this for Ashur from the Pitt dlc for fallout 3 (loved that dlc) but I’m not sure how best to represent the character in tabletop. I think they’d be raiders but Ashur has a brotherhood of steel background and will be the leader with t-45 power armour and a combat shotgun but I’m not sure what unit card best represents/is good for his character.
I’m curious how other people would tackle taking game characters and converting them into tabletop.

Man I'd love a Pitt release with Ashur, such a great arc. For now though... I think I'd take a BoS character and drop him in raiders (just pretend he has all the same faction keywords). Maybe even do the same in Children of Atom? Basically you just want a few other wastelanders to be support for him
