Ok Dan, I bought a beautiful all black 94 Fleetwood in Cleveland Oh. I drove it home to South Carolina with no real problems around 750 miles through the mountains. About two weeks later the muffler blew out. I jacked the car up to check the situation and the amount of rust and the missing floor, and broken cracked components was just overwhelming. I stripped the car down for parts and left it on jack stands. The frame broke in half where the body bolts down in the engine bay.....started building a 93 Fleetwood with a bent frame that is all black also.

Yes you will have to add a hole for the rear brake line and possibly a hole in the frame for the fuel line to come through on the driver side and I think drill mounting holes for the transmission crossmember I'm actually going to be doing a video on what the differences are between the years
I can depending on what you all want I can do a front partial (outside frame in wheel openings, spring pockets front and bottom of belly) rear arches, bridge with spring pockets and chain mounts c channel for the top of the axle and upper and lower a arm kit for 1400 plush shipping I would estimate shipping around 100 bucks if you are interested hit me up on Facebook messager under Cadillac Dan
Can you explain how you welded the metal to the frame. Are you butting the pieces up to each other or are you leaving like 1/16 of an inch to weld to the frame too
Badass video ! Good work im getting ready to wrap a 59 frame for my first time
Nice take your time and it will turn out good

Damn sorry to hear about that rust is definitely one of the number 1 enemy's
Killer work man! I wish I had a garage like that to do bigger jobs
U make it look easy bro. Good show thanks 👍
Nice job. I like the use of the porta power.
Tip to prevent rust between layers of metal is weld thru primer then the layer are safe
Look into weld thru primer . I use it on all mine .
You should do a video of how to remove the body off the frame
Its coming
79-96 frame are identical including body mount locations and everything?
Body mounts yes but there are a few differences on other things keep a look out for the video explaining what's diffrent
Looking good bro
79-96 are all the same frame?
Yes
Good work Dan!
Thanks I'm looking forward to more of your videos!

Can a 91 frame fit on a 94?

Is the 4 door frame same as the coupes?
Yes for the most part
@@thecadillacdanshow8658 I'm about to buy a 1985 coupe. Can you cut a stress point kit, a bridge kit, and an A-arm kit? If so, how much?

You are ridiculously good looking 😍
Get a room already 🙄😂
We have a whole house!

I bevel each peice and leave a little gap for the weld to penetrate
Thanks for the video. What thickness sheet are you using? Also how did you relocate the bridge and the shock mounts?
I used 3/16 on this one for the bridge I just took measurements and laid out lines on the floor
Awesome. The caddy frame looks dynamite. I can’t wait for the next video.
It turns out really awesome it exceeded my expectations
You are doing an incredible job on this frame Dan! 💯 This build series is great bro.
💙💙💙💙
What gauge of metal you using 3/16 or 1/4?
3/16 on this one
I was thinking of getting some plates myself to start on a partial reinforcement on some pockets , but for a gbody set up
I can make you some if you need them
