    Hey everyone! In this video I go through the different tools that I have specific to this RC hobby. If you have any questions please feel free to ask them in the comments and I will try to get to all of them.

    Be sure to check out the features channels list on my Home Page. Tre, Mark, and Isaiah all have their own TH-cam Channels.
    I am looking to really build out the GoKaioken community. I do video game live streams, videos with RC cars, Vlogs, and all sorts of other stuff. Willing to make it a full time gig and quit my job (who wouldn’t!) if the growth is there. Feel free to check out the rest of my channel. I try to organize most of my videos into Playlists so you can check out what you are most interested in. :)
    The Children's Online Privacy Protection ACT is very important. This channel and the videos within this channel are not made for children. The content is not suitable for children due to the language used in the videos. It contains what many would consider to be "adult language" or "adult humor". Every video uploaded from the date of the enforcement of COPPA compliance will be marked as "not made for kids". This channel has been set as not made for kids. I never upload content that's made for kids.

    Makes video about tool organization, proceeds to open chaotic pliers drawer in main tool box. 😂 I feel a connection with that

    The video explanation is very good. Not long ago, I bought a set of this renhotecic brand tool set, and just watched this video to learn how to use it. It is recommended that friends who like to repair by themselves can prepare a set.

    After getting into RC I realized a need to put a new tool system together so my research led me to purchase RC related tools of high quality however many tools can be from Harbor Freight especially storage boxs or tool bags.. also sm file sets , picks , sm electric screw driver, Dremel set and many of these tools are fine if its not a hard use situation but if you are doing a larger scale of hobby work for a shop or business you want the more dedicated tools and many tools can be used in numerous hobbies and sm jobs. For older parts I use ziplock bags to store tires and label the bags with box tape and black marker this is were those compartment boxes come in handy. You may have items around the house you can use so check your garage and save even more money.

    In general, stainless steel hardware is weaker than black oxide steel hardware. The drive (hex/torx/philips) will wear out/strip with less force and quickly. Stainless fasteners subject to shear loads will deform easy, and may ruin the parts that they are attached to because they will tear the holes they go through when removed, if they can even be removed. I always replace the factory hardware with the same type that that was used.

    I have a traxxis bandit that I found in the garbage it needs a remote can I buy just the remote or do I need to get a receiver as well.

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it’s still the whole car the receiver should still be inside the receiver box. Open it up and take a look.

    The small toolbox and the screw assortment - I left those out of my video!!! Doh!! Nice adds. Doesn't do any good to have all of these tools and nowhere to put them.

    You can use one remote for all your rc cars that’s what I do

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally would, but to this point I like having the ability to give my remote to a family member or a friend to use. However, I may have no choice as I’ve run out of room in my toolbox obviously. Lol. Any recommendations?

    • @SpikeDgoat23
      @SpikeDgoat23 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joshua Esposito use like 2 remotes and split it between your cars so you can still use your cars with one other person

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      True. I’ll have to look into some options.

    ah yes, replacement stainless screws for an xmax, hows that working out for ya? you know how brittle stainless is? i rather have a car full of rusty screws and than stainless ones.

      They’ve been great. No issues at all.

  • @TH3PIONEER

    Purely subjective, but more of a fan of having my tools out and easily accessible like on a rack, stand or magnetic strip etc.... rather than having them in a box within a box within another box. Tend to forget what I even have and puts me off maintenance and projects when everything is hidden away. Nice video though.

      @dirtrider88 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok then what the hell do you do when you go to the track or need to bring them somewhere?

      @@dirtrider88 The same thing as you do when you go Moto camping or RC bashing. Bring a portable tool/repair kit and not your entire workshop 👍
