I'm gonna send you some pictures of "backyard-manufacturing -facility"🤓😎🤠. Consisting of 3 tables. 2 of which were made completely with scrap 2x4s and plywood, the other is an old folding table that used to have a masonite top until my wife left it out in the rain 🌧️. It began to come apart of course and my lovely bride assumed it was garbage. I, however flipped it over, took out the 8or 10 screws, and replaced the top with...you guessed it mate! Scrap plywood of unknown origin.🤓. And reused those little screws to attach it. The new top is larger, and considerably lighter than original.🤓
Love your work mate, sign will have pride of place in the shop, and the push stick looks too good to use ! Thanks for being an inspiration for people to “just get started” I won’t mention the table saw ,that’s probably a saw point 😁
Hey brother.! It's Thanksgiving Day up here in the States, so Happy Thanksgiving.🤓 I've been watching your videos and been a sub for at least 2.5 or 3 of the last 4 years since you started your channel. I've got to take a moment to you Sir, a truly heartfelt thank you for the inspiration. Through your actions, you apply the truth that no body ever got their woodwork'n dreams fulfilled, while sitting on their arse, watching football, and bitch'n about how bad the economy sucks. So here's to you Sir. Thanks the ideas, the motivation, let's go make some sawdust, shall we.😎🤠
Maaaaatteee... Firstly the interesting stuff - Intellectual Property Law. Fortunately wifey holds a Masters in Law on this topic. The short version is yes, you could get in trouble using the silhouette of the characters as this infringes the copyright of the movie and/or actors suggesting you have some form of endorsement from them. Having said that, she also said the worst you would expect as such a tiny operator not based in America is a cease-and-desist email. Copyright lasts 70 years, so in 2059 you'd be good to go :P The slogan _Be Excellent to Each Finger_ however you could potentially get away with parody usage. However, there is still potential they could issue a cease and desist if they were super aggressive. So, this run of signs and sticks might be a very limited edition folks! *Best get on them now as I have an inkling they won't last long* 😅 Thanks for the shoutout, the new-dad safety advice and especially for the sticks, they are epically awesome. 🥰
Much appreciate this advice. Best I get the next 6 out before the heavies knock on my door. I do have a future plan for the silhouette too 🤣 thank you Mr and Mrs Fixit
