I pray that my Muslim Brothers understand that their claims on the Quran as being complete and sent down are untrue, however, this is what the Islamic faith rests on. The message is crumbling in our very eye. thank God for the internet that provides us with information that has been kept back from us.
Extremely difficult to believe in someone who born 4 years after her husband died. Married a old woman twice widowed. Claimed that he flew to Jerusalem on a Burak. Flew up to heaven and had a conversation with God, while meeting with the various prophets who passed away earlier. United the Arabic tribes with the sword. Spread the religion in Europe and Asia with the sword and violence.
Islam is a Deen - a political ideology. Pfander Films has been going into Sharia with Lloyd de Jongh, who is an expert in it. A big recommend, as he goes to Islamic material to show what he is saying.
Only a Sufi Muslim can prove to you the spiritual magnitude of the Multi-dimensional personality of the unique prophet Muhammad and how he accomplished the Miraj in fractions of seconds.I can do it also
Well seeing as in The Bible the kingdom of God is in the heavens and flesh and blood cannot inherit god's kingdom, From a biblical point of view it is impossible for flesh and Blood to go to heaven and have a conversation with God.
Islam was the fastest growing religion, until the internet. I have seen some surprising numbers of Muslims abandoning this idea. You have to wonder what the attraction is, women are less than human, slavery is allowed, a man must divorce his wife if the Prophet wanted her, murdering innocents in the name of God to promote the religion (part of me says that if you have to threaten to kill me to worship your God, he might not be the guy you think he is), lying to get the advantage, and they stand before an altar with a black rock, likely an asteroid, and worship.
@@akomohammadi6230 Might want to do some critical research and not let your immortal soul be placed in jeopardy by something you don’t quite understand yourself. And let’s examine shall we, were does the Bible say we must divorce our woman if Jesus wanted her? Slavery, yep, the Old Testament is full of it, and as most Americans and sadly most western peoples have forgotten, slavery has never gone away. You may still own a slave in some middle eastern countries, but not in France, England, Canada, at least not legally. While Christian’s eventually discarded slavery, others did not. That’s enlightenment in and of itself. The 10 Commandments condemns lying in any form. Yet the Koran allows it to deceive your enemy, and what are all Christian’s to you? The enemy? You are bound by the Koran to kill the unbeliever, the people of the book, wherever you find him, or her…why do you not go on your own Jihad, and find yourself. Murder too is prohibited, but see the previous example. Not coveting your neighbors ass (animal) or his woman….oh there it is…the right of a man to keep and secure his woman…I knew I read it somewhere. God, the creator, has no need for you to kill all unbelievers. His Prophets have no need of someone else’s woman. A Christian has no need to lie to you, or hate you. If you are hated, ask yourself a question, did a few Christians take over a few planes and kill lots of Muslims? Does this make the hatred right, no, and it is certainly not Christian. I wager you that should you ask Christ to light the way, you’d be really pleasantly surprised. You understand the entire history of Islam is violence? Invasions of Spain, North African Countries, seizing Mecca, the Crusades (enough blame to go round for all here ). The on going conflicts between Sunni and Shitte. All over a line of succession. reminds me of the Catholic Church in some ways, their Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman variants. They complain about who the real Pope is. But there you go. Everyone wants to put a spin on God. We all know the BOOK says the Jews are the Chosen. God the creator never broke the promise, never changed rules, never told them too bad and so sad. They remain the People of God’s most high love. They rejected his son, but soon we will see the fulfillment of the promise of salvation without having to blow ourselves up in a crowded mall.
@@Travlerbeing Thank you. For not being harsh, or rude. I enjoy rational discourse. I would respectfully disagree, the numbers I am seeing are that of declining numbers, for the first time in history I might add too. I have to ask why? I believe people have awakened to the internet and other ideas. I do not suggest all these that leave Islam are being Jews or Christians. Only they have chosen to leave, or at least stop practicing. What are you thoughts?
That's true. A religion that encourages their members to lie to non-Muslims have some real doctrinal problems. Not to mention the violence & intolerance within the religion.
It does nor take a genius to see that the entire religion of allah and his paedophet is based on deceit and manipulation through fear(terrorism). True, an honest seeker of truth can spot right away that this religion is nothing but a spiritual fraud.
To me worrying about early manuscripts seems almost ridiculously incidental/superficial as it's already stunningly _obvious_ that the Qur'an (any version) is a _frαud._ It's full of contradictions (see YT video ' Contradictions in the Quran - Koran errors ' ) and full of of well known scientific errors in cosmology & biology copied from the ancient Greeks. I actually believe most intelligent, educated "Muslims" know it's a frαud but won't admit it for various reasons, and these include Saudis (who have to know Mecca is a frαud), imams, heads of state, & scholars who just want to keep their positions of power or employment. It's just too obvious. But Jay & colleagues should keep up their good work to help the incredible f𝜊𝜊ls that still exist.

I have respect for Jay how he led that group into the truth in the face of aggressive lies and an aggressive group of deceived Muslims intent on causing drama. The dramatic moment is embarrassing for Muslims and exposing and it’s awesome to see textual evidence used against lies. I appreciate the tense moment when Jay stood up for the Bible and the word of God by using facts with proof. And raised his voice above the crowd, surely he is brave and doing the Lord’s work by being on the frontlines in these real world dialogues between Muslims and Christians
He is just trying to sow doubt and creating an equivalency of errancy between Quran and the Bible, which in reality doesnt exist. He may convince diehard Christians but he is not going to convince too many Muslims.
@@QabilAGhor indeed. The errant of Quran is a lot worse than that of the Bible, despite the Bible being 700 years older and coming from a less literate time when less books were written.
@@yndsu How can you even say that? The errancy of the Bible is freely admitted to by all Christian scholars. Even the introduction to some Bibles [such as the Jerusalem Bible] used to say that it cannot be established whether the statements attributed to Jesus were in fact made by him. The problem is bias, which doesn't allow people like you to study Islam with an open mind. I have had discussions with Christians, some on TH-cam, and the problem that I see is that most people in this country [US, where I live] are not interested in other religions and cultures. You begin to talk about religion and they walk away. Jews, for example, have lived in the West for almost two thousand years, yet if you give a quiz to Christians to test their knowledge of Judaism, most would flunk. In fact, they wouldn't pass a simple test about Christianity! Few Christians have tried to understand Islam. Even when they read Quran, it is with the aim to discredit it or to link it with terrorism or Jihad. So even if they come across a verse which appeals to their heart and mind, they immediately treat it as a trick of the devil or words of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Lies about Islam have been told in the Christian West for the past one thousand years or so. That, actually, was far more common until Goethe, who may have secretly converted to Islam, and his admirer Thomas Carlyle started speaking out more positively about Islam. Even Carlyle, in his lecture "Heroes and Hero Worship", had to present Prophet Muhammad as "son of the wilderness" and Islam as call of the wild [he must have used the word "wild" at least twenty times in that lecture] so as not to anger his Christian audience. And with great courage, Carlyle admitted: "The lies, which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man [Prophet Muhammad], are disgraceful to ourselves only." After 9-11, people who never liked Islam, either because they saw its growth as a threat to their own religion or because of political reasons, have found it convenient to attack it in public. And that is why you find so many people on TH-cam, and even in mainstream media, digging up dirt in Muslim countries to discredit it.
@@QabilAGhor Muslim scholars understand their faith better than anyone, and have codified all aspects of the Sharia into a Manual of Islamic Jurisprudence called The Reliance of The Traveller. They expose their faith as the dangerous ideology it truly is,and prove Islam is a violent faith which has no place in the civilised world. Page 599 .... 0 9 . 0 J I H A D (0: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad, "We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad." The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as: (1) "Fighting is prescribed for you" (Koran 2:216); (2) "Slay them wherever you find them" (Koran 4:89); "Fight the idolators utterly" (Koran 9:36); and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: "I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights ofIslam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah"; and the hadith reported by Muslim, "To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it."
When you trap a Muslim , and he can't fend a defence , asking him about very obvious thing like beating women in Quran, he starts listing what all civilizations since three thousands years did to women, the moment you see a Muslim giving you long introduction , you know he has no answer
in an interview, Zakir Naik actually called it for what it is: a woman is a man's slave. he said it: "slave". of course there should be a mutual agreement, but ultimately, the man must be obeyed. and if a woman gets r***d, it's her fault. because she either enticed men to r**e her by not covering her skin as she should do(so much for wearing a burka being a woman's choice), or she was unaccompanied, and she should have stayed at home like a good woman does. wow.
I also doubt if Islam knows love. It is very transactional, between alla and his followers (you give me enough prayer and jihad- I give you a place in one of my heavens according to your score), between man and woman (providing/ sexual access) and also love to children seems reduced due to ,Mohammed first'.
What else more you need Jay.... Everything has put forth fairly and genuinely. The Truth is knocking the heart of every single Muslims at every single occasion like this. Sadly, They are captives of their own Ego and hardness of the heart. They have been brought up, indoctrinated that way. They have no liberty unless they set their heart to Love the Truth above any person or religion, thus they can open their door of heart from inside to the Truth.
Jay, could Pfander complete a similar table to show your viewers how the New testament compares in regards to when we have the first bible? Could you tell your viewers how any Christian NT MSS have been cardon dated?
More like Aladdin's flying carpet 😆 fables , broken telephone oral tradition and chain of random names tradition ...Islam can't stand on its own ...It needs Jewish and Christian texts to make it credible
Religion is not about truth. It is dogma. Do you think global worming is about truth? Yes one muslim will accept the difficult truth but that will not stop the forward march of Islam. What Jay and his teem are doing is a tempest in a tea pot. All European capitals are setting records for building the biggest mosque. THat is the issue. Islam expanding is the only issue that matters. Will Jay and his teem stop Islam from continuing to amass political power?
Not much truth here. Quran has many stories about past prophets. Doesn't disprove anything. Christians are not revering the manuscripts as word of God, but claiming it is from christianity just to make this point. And I don't think anybody refused to have them carbon dated, and carbon dating is not a precursor to faith. Just good entertainment for people who like to listen to other people affirming their own beliefs.
Here's all that you need to know my friend, that Jesus was never crucified or killed, its in the Bible but Christians never read it, you can't kill a man under the Promised Protection Of The Almighty Mighty!
Yes brother,it's worth to believe the revelation of the bible that God YAHWEH inspired many prophets over a period of 1500 yrs and it's engraved in history. Israel was God's chosen people, through them God was revealed to the world.
If such is found it will probably show that it isn't a revelation, but a collection of texts, if one strips away the diacriticals that got added later, and that one sees in the current qirats, apparently one can map some of the content even to Syrian liturgical texts (Christoph Luxenberg). So the earliest text probably contains more embarassing information, that would show irrefrutably that it was originally an instructive text that could be used with some of the more uneducated Arab groups,, a not too knowledgeable text though, using strange sources.
5:40 I wouldn't feel comfortable with someone waving his hand in front of my face like that man does to you. Maybe speaker's corner should have a rule: If you are right next to somebody else, keep your hands down.
It's because Jay Smith & Al Fadi are two of the best researchers & the most threatening to Islam. Not much can be said to refute what they are saying so they get lots of insults.
@@xerke Sorry my friend. Islam is not growing. You need to watch some more of the videos that explains this. The birthrate of Muslim women is down more than a third & the apostates within Islam is high. Most converts leave Islam after they find out what Islam is really about after realizing they were lied to. Islam will be gone in 50 years, thank God.
So simple once you realize that Islam is a shadow, a very twisted and corrupt copy of the Logos ( the living word). We know that Salam ( seen/lam/meem) comes from Shalom ( shin/lamed/mem). Put an Alif in front, and you have Islam. Now, it becomes interesting when you put another ‘meem’ in front of salam, to make : meem/seen/lam/meem, better known as Muslim. In Hebrew/Aramaic : mem/shin/lamed/mem. Translation : it is finished, the last words spoken by Jesus on the cross John 19:30). Time to come home, brothers and sisters ✝️
I suppose the most likely conclusion was the original Arabic Quran were just pre Islamic stories. What is glaringly missing was how old is the first text that could be linked to the Prophet actually teaching or saying anything? That would suggest when Islam as we know it started. I'm going to guess it will be dated after 750 AD, with where it being found to territory owned by the Abbasid Empire. It might be the Prophet was part of their lore and history, but my suspicions put it as a political ploy to re invent a religious claim to power common to peoples of Persian traditions. Sad really as without Muhammad words poisoning the well Islam could fundamentally be a religion of peace like Christianity was meant to be? Main differences being the trinity yes or no, which is trivial if the main goal is not to be warring and fighting.
@Abul-Abbas al-Asyuti intra tribal or even families rivalries explains that away quire easily. Whatever cause the dispute must have caused a feud strong enough not just to remove them from power but erase their woo legacy from history too, and what better way then a magically appearing prophet to steal away the one god meme, the sacred city and name Muhammad from the Ummayads.
@Abul-Abbas al-Asyuti You want me to make a informed guess. Well, we know that Spain wasn’t conquered by Muslims but by Arab Mercenaries hired to fight on the side of the unitarians faction in Spain. They ended up the strongest military force and by default ended up as its rulers. That’s what you get when your mercenaries become too powerful, same thing happened with Rome and its downfalls. All historical evidence points to this story of events, and no dated to the era evidence supports the Islamic version. So we can only say the Umayyad were unitarians Christians, not Islamic Muslims. We know the Abbasids put together the books related to prophet and his history and sayings, with a convenient tie in to the prophet with introducing the relative and prophet’s companion. We can say that because yet again there is zero historical evidence to support the Islamic narrative prior to the Abbasid interventions. If the Islamic narrative true where are all the manuscripts dating back into their rule. All you get back then are writings that can be traced back to other sources, not Islamic ones. We also know the Quranic Religion is not the same as the Sharia. You could argue the Quran is partially optional as there is no compulsion in religion. But when believers of the Abbasid narrative started to put together a set of governing rules to abide to and came up with the Sharia, the Islamic religion had now become compulsory on pain of death by the ‘religious police’. By all accounts the Abbasids were not devoted Islamic Muslims, the Caliphate became what Muslims called the Golden Age. But they invented the poison which would eventually end both their Calipha and the Golden Age by Sharia. Be careful when you use theory. There are two types in common usage. One is used by lay people and it is only a guess A schooler or scientist, and Jay has accreditation to have this right would call a lay persons ‘theory a hypothesis as it is not proven and needs testing before it has a hope of becoming a theory. But when schooler or scientist uses the word theory it means something different to a guess. It means the body of accumulated evidence sides with the conclusion of theory they are making. Sorry the post is that long. It is a complicated topic and there are no easy answers.
@Abul-Abbas al-Asyuti I think there is something else you have misunderstood regarding what Jay says which is when he says before the Abbasids were Christian, he doesn't mean Christians like he is. It would be more like a Jew that was Christian with added mythology that wasn't from the Catholic Bible. You might say it was Islamic but without any reference to a prophet from Mecca. Their prophet, also called Muhammad was also known as Jesus. Muhammad Mecca and Rashidun Caliphate were all reconstructed by the Abbasids and merged to what the Umayyad Caliphate believed in. It wasn't achieved in a day, it took a couple of hundred years just to put together several working Qurans as it needed constant editing and changes just to get what was in it to seem like a working narrative. But even so like any popular story, the authors had to invent even more stories, so you get a rewritten history of a Prophet and followers, Sayings of Prophets and finally law of the prophet. It is that very process of having to invent and write about a prophet which is why there is zero evidence that any of todays Muslims can point to and say here is the man, and the place as the Abbasids set the story of the Arab revolt so far south, no Northern or Middle Arab or African couldn't say this isn't true I was there and this never happened with my tribe. It made the fiction believable and made a sort of sense to Arabs wanting a hero.
@Asif dawood The reports of Jesus Christ's ministry, death and resurrection are called Gospels for ease of reference, only. Gospel means Good News, and this Good News is what Jesus Christ did,, reconciling mankind back to God through His death and resurrection. The first Christians who were Jews, took this Good News half way round the world before it was ever written down. This same Good News is being preached today by Christians, nothing has changed, because the message has not changed.
@Asif dawood Lies! Repeated lies are still lies. You are unaware of the Gospel of Matthew in Hebrew. You are unaware that even if there were not one complete manuscript, about 90% of the New Testament could be retrieved from quotes of the early church Fathers!
@Asif dawood Islamic drivel. The gospels are documented first century scrolls and were written by the disciples for which they are named, and reveal the style & idiosyncrasies unique to each writer. We also have the ancient writing of Iraneaus who recorded that each gospel was indeed written by the disciples whose name it carries.
This is very interesting and I like Jay's Historical-Critical analysis and comments. Here is another useful academic work published for the general reader. 'The Bible in Arabic - The Scriptures of the "People of the Book" in the Language of Islam' by Prof Sidney H Griffith (Princeton, 2013). This was reviewed by Paul Williams in his Blogging Theology series. Here are the sub-chapter headings in Chapter I (Roman) to wet your appetite: pp 8-53 : Jews and Christians in Pre-Islamic Arabia, Jews and Christians in the Quran, Was there a Pre-Islamic Arabic Bible?. Prof Sidney refers to "..the Quran's Christians were in fact among the contemporary Melkites, Jacobites, and Nestorians, the dominant Christians congregations.. in the first third of the seven century...." . This may also explain why the theology in the Quran in variant from the main stream high Christology. Robert Spencer also makes similar comments on youtube interviews. A simple theology audit seems to indicate that at best Islam is about 40% Christianity if The Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed (NCC) used as the standard. Shabir Ally recognised the normative nature of NCC in his debates with orthodox Christians once.
@Z80 Thanks. You really need to read Sidney H Griffith's work and also note Robert Spencer's youtube comments - I haven't read his books yet. 'Non-confirming' Christians after Arian controversy drifted far away from centres like Alexandria and Constantinople. Nestorians were a dominant group under their excommunicated but determined Bishop. There were Nestorian influences in India and China during the 7th century. Nestorian rock carvings crosses were found in India. All kinds of Jewish and Christian thoughts/theology were also circulating in Arabia. There were other Persian influences too. The imagery of Mirage journey is a fascinating one. Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. Careful reading of the Quran will show words/texts from the Gospels. In one place elements of Lord's Prayer has crept in. Keep learning. It is a minefield.
The NT GOSPELS - Evidence of Author's & Dates Written ▪︎Matthew - A tax collector who became Jesus' apostle and wrote about the life of Jesus as the Messiah for the Jewish community c. 70 AD. ▪︎Mark - A Jew, and a companion of Peter and Paul, who wrote for both Jews and Gentiles about Christ's death and resurrection c. 65 AD. ▪︎Luke - A Gentile doctor, and a companion of Peter and Paul who wrote for the Gentiles about Christ the saviour for humankind. ▪︎Luke - also wrote the Acts of the Apostles c. 65 AD. ▪︎John - The 'beloved' apostle of Jesus, wrote in his later years about the Word who took on Flesh (John 1:1,14) c. 80-90 AD. ▪︎John - also wrote 3 Letters and The Book of Revelations c. 80-90 AD. ▪︎James - Jesus' half brother, wrote 1 letter c. 35 AD. ▪︎Paul - wrote 13 letters c.50 - 67 AD. ▪︎Jude - wrote 1 letter c. 65 AD. ▪︎Peter - wrote 2 letters c. 67 AD. ▪︎The author of The Letter to Hebrews is unknown c. 65 AD. (Wikipedia). ▪︎Jesus Christ's' ministry occurred between 27-30 A.D. ▪︎Christianity began after the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ when thousands of Jews became followers of 'The Way' (Jesus). ▪︎The New Testament scholar, F.F. Bruce, gives strong historical evidence that the New Testament was completed by A.D. 100. ▪︎Most writings of the New Testament were completed twenty to forty years before 100 AD. (Wikipedia). ▪︎The apostles and their companions wrote the New Testament from their first-hand experiences with Jesus. New Testament integrity is supported by historians, biblical and textual scholars, along with thousands of early codices, manuscripts and the Dead Sea Scrolls, proving the validity and preservation of the Gospels written between c. 35-90 A.D (Eusebius, Church History 111. 39 .15; Irenaeus Against Heresies, 111.1) INTERNAL Evidence: ▪︎The internal evidence supports these early dates for several reasons. The first three Gospels prophesied the fall of the Jerusalem Temple which occurred in A.D. 70. However, the fulfillment is not mentioned. It is strange that these three Gospels predict this major event but do not record it happening. Why do they not mention such an important prophetic milestone? The most plausible explanation is that it had not yet occurred at the time Matthew, Mark, and Luke were written. ▪︎In the book of Acts, the Temple plays a central role in the nation of Israel. Luke writes as if the Temple is an important part of Jewish life. He also ends Acts on a strange note: Paul living under house arrest. It is strange that Luke does not record the death of his two chief characters, Peter and Paul. The most plausible reason for this is that Luke finished writing Acts before Peter and Paul's martyrdom in A.D. 64. A significant point to highlight is that the Gospel of Luke precedes Acts, further supporting the traditional dating of A.D. 60. Most scholars agree Mark precedes Luke, making Mark's Gospel even earlier. ▪︎Finally, the majority of New Testament scholars believe that Paul's epistles are written from A.D. 48-60. Paul's outline of the life of Jesus matches that of the Gospels. 1 Corinthians is one of the least disputed books regarding its dating and Pauline authorship. In 1Corinthians chapter 15, Paul summarizes the gospel and reinforces the premise that this is the same gospel preached by the apostles. Paul quotes from Luke's Gospel in 1 Timothy 5:18, showing us that Luke's Gospel was indeed completed in Paul's lifetime. This would move the time of the completion of Luke's Gospel along with Mark and Matthew. This Internal Evidence presents a strong case for the early dating of the Gospels. EXTERNAL Evidence - Gospel Dates: ▪︎Were the Gospels written by eyewitnesses of the events, or were they not recorded until centuries later? As with the internal evidence, the external evidence also supports a first century date. ▪︎Fortunately, New Testament scholars have an enormous amount of ancient manuscript evidence. The documentary evidence for the New Testament far surpasses any other work of its time, with over 5000 manuscripts, and many are dated within a few years of their authors' lives. KEY documents: ▪︎Chester Beatty Papyri contains most of the N.T. writings, and is dated around A.D. 250. ▪︎The Bodmer Papyri contains most of John, and dates to A.D. 200. ▪︎Rylands Papyri that was found in Egypt and contains large fragments of John, and dates to A.D. 130. From this fragment we can conclude that John was completed well before A.D. 130 because, not only did the gospel have to be written, it had to be hand copied and make its way down from Greece to Egypt. The majority of scholars agree that John is the last gospel written, so we can affirm its first century date along with the other three with greater assurance. EARLY New Testament Papyrus Manuscripts: ▪︎Dead Sea Scrolls, the Full Text of Isaiah 53, c 250 BC. ▪︎Old Testament Greek Septuagint 200 BC. ▪︎P52 (John Rylands Fragment) - John 18:31-33; 37-38 c. 96 AD ▪︎P90 (Oxyrhynchus) - John 18:36; 19:7 c. 96 AD ▪︎ P104 (Oxyrhynchus) - Matthew 21:34-37, 43, 45 c. 60-65 AD ▪︎P46 (Chester Beatty Papyrus) - Romans 5:17-6; 5-14; 8:15-25; 27-35; 10:1-11, 22, 24-33, 35; 16:1-23; 25-27. Hebrews; 1 & 2; Corinthians; Ephesians; Galatians; Philippians; Colossians; 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 9-10; 2:1-3; 5:5-9, 23-28 c. 50’s-70’s AD ▪︎P98 (IFAO) - Revelation 1:13; 2:1 c. 90 AD ▪︎P66 (Bodmer Papyrus) - John 1:1-6,11; 6:35; 14:26; fragment of 14:29; 21:9 c. 70’s AD ▪︎P67 Matthew 3:9, 15; 5:20-22; 25-28 c. 60-65 AD ▪︎Evidence also comes from the Dead Sea Scrolls Cave 7. Jose Callahan discovered a large fragment of the Gospel of Mark and dated it to have been written in A.D. 50. Also large fragments of Acts and other epistles and dated them to have been written slightly after A.D. 50.4 Another line of evidence is the writings of the church fathers. ▪︎CLEMENT of Rome sent a letter to the Corinthian church in A.D. 95. in which he quoted from the Gospels and other portions of the N.T. ▪︎IGNATIUS, Bishop of Antioch, wrote a letter before his martyrdom in Rome in A.D. 115, quoting all the Gospels and other N.T. letters. ▪︎POLYCARP wrote to the Philippians in A.D. 120 and quoted from the Gospels and N.T. letters. ▪︎JUSTIN MARTYR, A.D. 150 quotes John 3. Church fathers of the early second century were familiar with the apostle's writings and quoted them as inspired Scripture. ▪︎Early dating is important for two reasons. The closer a historical record is to the date of the event, the more likely the record is accurate. Early dating allows for eyewitnesses to still be alive when the Gospels were circulating to attest to their accuracy. The apostles often appeal to the witness of the hostile crowd, pointing to their knowledge of the facts as well (Acts 2:22, 26:26). Also, the time is too short for legends to develop. Historians agree it takes about two generations, or eighty years, for legendary accounts to establish themselves. From the evidence, we can conclude the Gospels were indeed written by the authors they are attributed to. THE First Fully Bound Bible Books/Codices ▪︎Codex Vaticanus: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 280 - 330 AD ▪︎Codex Siniaticus: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 300 - 350 AD ▪︎Codex Alexandrius: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 350 - 400 AD ▪︎Codex Vulgate: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 380 - 400 AD JESUS and the Jews were multilingual ▪︎"Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: 'JESUS Of NAZARETH, THE KING Of THE JEWS'. Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek" (John 19:19-20) ▪︎The Gospels were written in Koine Greek being the World's language in the 1st century The Hebrew Bible was translated into Greek (Septuagint) c.200 BC for the many Greek speaking Jews It is well known that first-century Jerusalem was inhabited by Greek speaking Jews who were at least bilingual. And Jesus most likely was trilingual apart from the ability to read minds. So the original Gospels were written in Koine Greek and sent throughout the World.. ▪︎Jewish culture was heavily influenced by Hellenistic culture, and Koine Greek was used not only for international communication but also as the first language of many Jews. This development was furthered by the fact that the largest Jewish community in the world lived in Ptolemaic Alexandria. Three Scholars on the Birmingham text; Efin Rezvan (Russian scholar), was asked to do a lecture on the text by Birmingham University in 2015; “Birmingham Fragments show several textual variants as well as verse numbering differences.” “The very early dating of all these fragments-before the reign of Uthman-casts doubt on *both the Islamic tradition” *refer to the next section “The fact the that the folios were kept for centuries in an iron box, underground can partly explain the early radiocarbon dating” “Parchment was an expensive material (the skin of an entire animal was used to produce the big folio). Monastic and state scriptoria, located on the territory of Greater Syria, Antiochia, al Hira and Alexandria areas, could store this valuable material (including the donations of the pious laity). These stocks became part of the loot captured by the Arabs in the first years of the conquest. Captured leaves were used for writing the Quran.” Conclusion; is that we cannot know when the writing took place as the carbon dating only gives a time line to the animal skin, not the writing, and the parchments were written on at a much later date.
Emilio Platti; “pointing out differences to the Sana codex-unquestionably the oldest manuscript (705), which therefore means that this Birmingham fragment is subsequent to the oldest manuscript (Sana).”
Dr. Jay Smith; the verses found on the Birmingham text pre-date Islam, examples and are plagiarised stories; Sura 18:17-31; = the 7 sleepers of Ephesus (Metaphrastes & Surag 521 A.D.) Sura 19: 91-98 = Proto Evangelium of James (145 A.D.) Sura 20: 1-40 = the story of Moses (1400 B.C.) None of the verses cover Mohammed, Medina, or Mecca, and there is nothing to do with the Caliphs.
Jay knows what the Islamic believes are...that ISLAM meaning SUBMISSION TO THEE CREATOR started with creation and with all the prophets and Mohammad (peace on them all) COMPLETED THE ONLY RELIGION created by God...yet Jay fails to tell you this and that the Quran is NOT a new book but the Last and Final Testament of God to humanity CORRECTING all the corruptions from the previous books.... How I earnestly wish that there is now an ORIGINAL ARAMAIC GOSPEL because I am dying inside to read it. I hope there is a translation in English. It's hard to read it in its original form in Aramaic. I don't know that language. I think Aramaic is much harder to read than Arabic. I believe that this Gospel is a book of spiritual guidance from God. Unlike the 4 make-believe gospels, their contents are purely biographies of Prophet jESUs (pbuh) but with a huge hole in the accounts of his life covering the primetime of his age. From what museum or library can we find the original ARAMAIC GOSPEL? Is there any original manuscript for it? I am urging Jay Smith and his cohorts to produce that book as soon as possible so that Muslims and Christians alike will be enlightened. -09-19-23
O Mankind, the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve - then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise. 171 O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. 172 Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together. 173 And as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards and grant them extra from His bounty. But as for those who disdained and were arrogant, He will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or helper. Great Quran
There are tons of COMPLETED handwritten Mushafs (written Qurans) from the 7th century, from the companions of Mohammad (saw) in Libraries, Museans and in private collections. The Quran is a RECITATION, that's the meaning of the Quran and was revealed over a span of 23 years to Mohammad (saw) ...and on each revelation Mohammad (saw) called his scribes (x2 and x 3 scribes) to write down what was revealed. THIS RECITATION (Quranic verses) were recited from the time of Mohammad (saw) and his 10 000 disciples/companions more than 5 x a day EVERY DAY during the Salats in congregation and STILL IS continually, NON-STOP by ever increasing Muslims... NON-STOP RECITATION OF THE QURAN as the Salat Times moves from country to country, globally as the Sun moves ... THE POINT IS There was not a time in history that Muslims RECITED THE QURAN BY HEART (hafiz) and to have it in a book form is a bonus. @@richardbradley1532 Unlike the Quran, the Bible is connected with history because it has narratives. So in the Old Testament you see the names of some Egyptian pharoahs, Assyrian and Babylonian rulers. There is also archaelogical confirmation of some of this, e.g. evidence of the settlement of Canaan. I think God would want to do things this way, since then that helps to know its valid, not something passed off as a revelation, which is actually not. Recording things was fairly sophisiticated by the time of Jesus, so we even have 4 accounts of the events. Such wouild be expected of the quran if it was authentic, instead muslims have to rely on biographies of Mohammed and hadiths, written 2 centuries later, and not provable from 7C history, and contradicting some of it such as the coin evidence.

One, carbon dating shows when the animal died, not when the words were written on the skin. two, the three chapters are based on Christian stories, three it’s incomplete as a Quran as the rest of the Quran must have been added later.
Is it really on point to criticise the manuscript tradition of the Qur'an? It says nothing about what Muhammad was like and what he did. Unlike the Torah and the Gospels, which say a great deal about what Moses and Jesus were like and what they did. That is why questions about their accuracy are relevant. Similar questions about the Qur'an are quite irrelevant, because there is nothing in it that would help us to learn the history of the time when it was written.
It is relevant in the context of the Qur'an's preservation, an argument forwarded by the Muslims constantly in order to find any authority for their scripture.
@@pfanderfilms I agree with you at least to the extent that a consistent manuscript tradition should be expected of the Qur'an. We should also expect to find many more and earlier manuscripts given that Muhammad is dated six hundred years more recently than Jesus, the Qur'an was written, not on papyrus as was the NT but on much more durable parchment, and unlike the Christian Church of the pre-Nicene era, the Arabs had the resources of a vast empire to finance the copying of as many Qur'ans as they wanted. That said, there is nothing at all on the record of history to verify the existence of primary facts that, if believed, could establish a fact of divine revelation in relation to Muhammad. The Muslims don't even claim that God raised him from the dead, nor repeated the theophany recorded in Exodus 20 in the presence of Muhammad and his Companions. We can't even tell whether the locus in quo is Hejazi Mecca and Medina, Petra, or Mecca near Harran and al-Mada'in (Seleucia-Ctesiphon). Christians put their faith in literature authored by anonymous writers who were not witnesses to the events about which they wrote. These anonymous gospel authors did not even cite the source(s) for their information. In addition, the oldest surviving 2 inch by 3 inch fragment of the Gospel of John dates to 125 CE or circa 100 years after the events described in the gospels. Muslims know the Prophet who was granted the revelation and we also know the scribes to whom it was dictated. There is even a manuscript that still survives from the time of the revelation, which was between 609-632 CE. According to Wiki: The Birmingham Quran manuscript is a parchment on which two leaves of an early Quranic manuscript are written. In 2015 the manuscript, which is held by the University of Birmingham,[1] was radiocarbon dated to between 568 and 645 CE (in the Islamic calendar, between 56 BH and 25 AH).[2][3] It is part of the Mingana Collection of Middle Eastern manuscripts, held by the university's Cadbury Research Library.[2]
The issues I have with Islam is that it defends the child abuse of Aisha. It defends the child marriageable of Aisha to Mohammad. This defence now leads to little girls being married off to old men due to the obligatory Sunnah practise. Islam will not condemn the marriage of Aisha to Mohammad.
What if god condemn child marriages at that time when average life span was about 30 years or less ? Child marriages is common even among christian royalty. Did god condemn child marriage in the bible? No. Did our prophet abuse Aisha? No. It is not an illicit relationship that we hear nowadays where the parents are unaware. It is a proper marriage where the bride agrees, her parents agree, it is made public and the brides having her rights. This issue is insignificant compared to the Christian issue of worshipping a human being in Jesus instead of the sole Creator of the worlds.
@@mohamadromzee7394 Marriage is a contract which requires that the parties entering into the contract are mens compos. In other words, all parties must meet the standards which define mental competence in order for the contract to be valid. In Islam, mental competence is generally defined as the 'age of puberty' limited by extenuating circumstances such as mental defect, disease etc. So, no child, male or female, can enter a marriage contract prior to puberty. Islam is a religion of laws and those laws apply equally to all, unless the Quran makes an exception.
@Kittykat Jesus is NOT God New International Version “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Only god knows the day of judgement. Jesus peace be upon him does not know. Jesus love if you worship not him but to the one and only god.
@Kittykat Jesus loves those who follow him, not those who worship him as a deity. Declaring Jesus as a god is a violation of the 1st commandment and it is a declaration that God's being includes Mary's DNA, which is the same DNA as her clan, her tribe, all of her contemporary relatives as well as her ancestors. So, God would also be genetically related to Judas and a host of other biblical undesirables. Furthermore, to fulfill the Davidic covenant, the messiah had to be descended from David. According to Christian doctrine, Jesus did not have a human father and the only mention of his mother's lineage is that she was related to the tribe of Levi as her cousin Elizabeth was a daughter of Aaron. In addition to considering the genetic component and Jesus' lack of connection to the line of David., one must consider that the Jews were not expecting a divinity to be their divinely appointed messianic leader.

JESUS & GREEK MYTHOLOGY: The gospel authors were unable to explain how Jesus was able to eat, walk and talk with his companions after the crucifixion, so they delved into Greek mythology and came up with the explanation that a divinely sired son of a virgin died and was resurrected into a mortal body. However, nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus had an incorruptible body. Jesus eventually died and his soul went to paradise but his death was not the result of a crucifixion according to the Quran. It was a death that every mortal must experience because every human being is mortal. Elijah is the only biblical character to have not experienced death before being escorted to paradise. (Enoch's experience is too vaguely described to confirm that he did not die). However, the incident of a chariot of fire drawn by horses of fire in 2 Kings 2 seems to be drawn from the myth of Apollo/Helios and the sun chariot driven across the sky by 4 horses of fire. The Judeans were trading partners with Javan or Ionia/Greece from whom they acquired iron, cassia and calamus according to Ez 27:19. So, the Judeans were exposed to these Greek myths. The Book of Ezekiel was written at the same time that 2 Kings was written. In any case, Elijah did not die, so he is not a prototype of Jesus. The basis of the belief that Jesus was the son of a god, that he died and that he was restored in an immortal body is straight out of Greek myth which the hellenized founders of Christianity interpreted from the gospel stories regarding Jesus. For example, Achilles was born of the marriage between the goddess Thetis and the mortal Peleus. He was killed by an arrow piercing his tendon. Achilles was placed on a funeral pyre. There, as the fire was about to immolate his body, his divine mother snatched the body away and took it to the Isles of the Blessed or to the Elysian Fields which were places at the ends of the earth. Here, at outermost regions of the world, Achilles was resurrected and was granted an immortal body. Memnon, the son of the goddess of dawn, was killed in a battle outside of the walls of Troy. He was brought to the ends of the earth where he was resurrected to an immortal life. Other Greek heroes who achieved immortal bodied after death were Melicertes, Castor, Dionysus and so on. So, the Christian beliefs that a human being was the begotten son of a deity, that he died and was resurrected in an immortal body are found nowhere in the Torah or Tanakh. However, variations of the divine conception, violent death and bodily resurrection can easily be found in Greek mythology. The Greeks, Seleucids and Ptolemies, occupied Palestine for circa 300 years before the Romans replaced them as an occupying power. So, It is no wonder that the hellenized founders of Christianity discovered Greek themes in the New Testament stories which were written by hellenized authors and the proud citizen of Rome, Paul the Pharisee. However, both Jesus and Paul were emphatic that the resurrection was in spirit and not in a corporal body. According to Jesus' declaration in Mark 12:25, the resurrected body will be like that of an angel. "25 When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven." Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15: "42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body."
You wrote all of this to prove that Jesus was not the Son of God but your Quran confirmed the virgin birth of Isa. If you know the implication of this, i think it is good to ask if Allah actually did that in the first place. Why would Allah cast his Word to a virgin woman and denied the child born through this pregnancy. It is normal for a man who impregnated a woman to be father of the child born through the pregnancy. But Allah lied about Isa's fatherhood, imagine a man did what Allah did to Mariam to your sister or daughter. You are explaining resurrection using the words of Jesus and Paul when you don't even know what they said about resurrection.

Islam lies upon lies upon lies endlessly!
Islam is collapsing under the shining light of truth and righteous ridicule. This process cannot be stopped or reversed. Thanks for all your work.
Funny you. You described Christianity. Churches are being turned into mosques in west. 😂
Islam is the fasted growing religion no matter whoever say whatever 🥳

@@QabilAGhor indeed. The errant of Quran is a lot worse than that of the Bible, despite the Bible being 700 years older and coming from a less literate time when less books were written.

I have had discussions with Christians, some on TH-cam, and the problem that I see is that most people in this country [US, where I live] are not interested in other religions and cultures.
And with great courage, Carlyle admitted: "The lies, which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man [Prophet Muhammad], are disgraceful to ourselves only."
After 9-11, people who never liked Islam, either because they saw its growth as a threat to their own religion or because of political reasons, have found it convenient to attack it in public. And that is
why you find so many people on TH-cam, and even in mainstream media, digging up dirt in Muslim countries to discredit it.
@@QabilAGhor Muslim scholars understand their faith better than anyone, and have codified all aspects of the Sharia into a Manual of Islamic Jurisprudence called
The Reliance of The Traveller.
As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad, "We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad."
The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as: (1) "Fighting is prescribed for you" (Koran 2:216); (2) "Slay them wherever you find them" (Koran 4:89); "Fight the idolators utterly" (Koran 9:36);
and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: "I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights ofIslam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah";
and the hadith reported by Muslim, "To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it."

Great
When you trap a Muslim , and he can't fend a defence , asking him about very obvious thing like beating women in Quran, he starts listing what all civilizations since three thousands years did to women, the moment you see a Muslim giving you long introduction , you know he has no answer
in an interview, Zakir Naik actually called it for what it is: a woman is a man's slave. he said it: "slave". of course there should be a mutual agreement, but ultimately, the man must be obeyed. and if a woman gets r***d, it's her fault. because she either enticed men to r**e her by not covering her skin as she should do(so much for wearing a burka being a woman's choice), or she was unaccompanied, and she should have stayed at home like a good woman does. wow.
Islam does not know GLORY. HOLINESS. TRUE MERCY.
I also doubt if Islam knows love. It is very transactional, between alla and his followers (you give me enough prayer and jihad- I give you a place in one of my heavens according to your score), between man and woman (providing/ sexual access) and also love to children seems reduced due to ,Mohammed first'.
And also Love.
Lies is of satan. Only satan is the father of lies
Great work, thank you both and bless you in Christ
What else more you need Jay.... Everything has put forth fairly and genuinely. The Truth is knocking the heart of every single Muslims at every single occasion like this. Sadly, They are captives of their own Ego and hardness of the heart. They have been brought up, indoctrinated that way. They have no liberty unless they set their heart to Love the Truth above any person or religion, thus they can open their door of heart from inside to the Truth.

Not Mansur's finest hour. To be honest I have never seen a good hour from Mansur.
Jay, could Pfander complete a similar table to show your viewers how the New testament compares in regards to when we have the first bible? Could you tell your viewers how any Christian NT MSS have been cardon dated?
The narrative of hisslaam is like an episode of Harry potter
Yeah, but without any good guys at all.
More like Aladdin's flying carpet 😆 fables , broken telephone oral tradition and chain of random names tradition ...Islam can't stand on its own ...It needs Jewish and Christian texts to make it credible
Great revelation by Dr. Jay Smith 👍
Thank you for telling the truth. Hopefully many muslims will find the Truth.

The truth
Yes brother,it's worth to believe the revelation of the bible that God YAHWEH inspired many prophets over a period of 1500 yrs and it's engraved in history. Israel was God's chosen people, through them God was revealed to the world.
They could have the first Quran ever written, it would still be a load of nonsense.
Anytime when I want to laugh at jokes I read islamic books. They are like kindergarten books made up to make someone feel good
It's funny how Jay completely dominates Mansur.
Hopefully this will usher in the much needed Islamic reformation and bring it and it's adherants into the 21stC
islam reformed is islam destroyed.
wowww... they really don't have even one complete earliest manuscript..
Bless you Jay Smith for exposing the lies.

Seeing the high levels of cope from Islamic commentators on this vid is amazing. Nothing offends the deceived more than the truth.
It's because Jay Smith & Al Fadi are two of the best researchers & the most threatening to Islam. Not much can be said to refute what they are saying so they get lots of insults.
Cope? Who is coping? Slanderfilms? Islam is growing every day and you are free to show me a video of ''islamic coping'
@@xerke Sorry my friend. Islam is not growing. You need to watch some more of the videos that explains this. The birthrate of Muslim women is down more than a third & the apostates within Islam is high.

Buyer were confusing. Which one should I buy? Later, they said. Damn, better I watch the Marvel movie. 😅
@Abul-Abbas al-Asyuti well you would have to ask him. You should also, or would need to show what he brings to the table to support the SIN.
@Abul-Abbas al-Asyuti but did he? Can you prove it?

@Asif dawood
Lies! Repeated lies are still lies.
You are unaware of the Gospel of Matthew in Hebrew.
You are unaware that even if there were not one complete manuscript, about 90% of the New Testament could be retrieved from quotes of the early church Fathers!
@Asif dawood actually that shows your ignorance as all 4 gospels written by end of first century!
@Asif dawood And scholars/learned men of Christ’s time spoke & wrote in Greek as it was the universal academic language of the time.
He still didn't answer the first question asked by the presenter. Sweet talk.
Jay Smith one of the debaters. Keep on doing what you are doing.

The NT GOSPELS - Evidence of Author's & Dates Written
▪︎Matthew - A tax collector who became Jesus' apostle and wrote about the life of Jesus as the Messiah for the Jewish community c.
(Eusebius, Church History 111. 39 .15; Irenaeus Against Heresies, 111.1)
INTERNAL Evidence:
▪︎The internal evidence supports these early dates for several reasons.
EXTERNAL Evidence - Gospel Dates:
▪︎Were the Gospels written by eyewitnesses of the events, or were they not recorded until centuries later? As with the internal evidence, the external evidence also supports a first century date.
▪︎Fortunately, New Testament scholars have an enormous amount of ancient manuscript evidence. The documentary evidence for the New Testament far surpasses any other work of its time, with over 5000 manuscripts, and many are dated within a few years of their authors' lives.
KEY documents:
▪︎Chester Beatty Papyri contains most of the N.T. writings, and is dated around A.D.
EARLY New Testament Papyrus Manuscripts:
▪︎Dead Sea Scrolls, the Full Text of Isaiah 53, c 250 BC.
▪︎Old Testament Greek Septuagint 200 BC.
▪︎P52 (John Rylands Fragment) - John 18:31-33; 37-38 c. 96 AD
▪︎P90 (Oxyrhynchus) - John 18:36; 19:7 c. 96 AD
▪︎ P104 (Oxyrhynchus) - Matthew 21:34-37, 43, 45 c. 60-65 AD
▪︎P46 (Chester Beatty Papyrus) - Romans 5:17-6; 5-14; 8:15-25; 27-35; 10:1-11, 22, 24-33, 35; 16:1-23; 25-27.
Hebrews; 1 & 2; Corinthians; Ephesians; Galatians; Philippians; Colossians; 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 9-10; 2:1-3; 5:5-9, 23-28 c. 50’s-70’s AD
▪︎P98 (IFAO) - Revelation 1:13; 2:1 c. 90 AD
▪︎P66 (Bodmer Papyrus) - John 1:1-6,11; 6:35; 14:26; fragment of 14:29; 21:9 c. 70’s AD
▪︎P67 Matthew 3:9, 15; 5:20-22; 25-28 c. 60-65 AD
▪︎Evidence also comes from the Dead Sea Scrolls Cave 7.
Jose Callahan discovered a large fragment of the Gospel of Mark and dated it to have been written in A.D. 50. Also large fragments of Acts and other epistles and dated them to have been written slightly after A.D. 50.4
Another line of evidence is the writings of the church fathers.
THE First Fully Bound Bible Books/Codices

▪︎Codex Siniaticus: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 300 - 350 AD
▪︎Codex Alexandrius: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 350 - 400 AD

JESUS and the Jews were multilingual
▪︎"Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross.
It read: 'JESUS Of NAZARETH, THE KING Of THE JEWS'.
Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek" (John 19:19-20)
▪︎The Gospels were written in Koine Greek being the World's language in the 1st century
The Hebrew Bible was translated into Greek (Septuagint) c.200 BC for the many Greek speaking Jews
It is well known that first-century Jerusalem was inhabited by Greek speaking Jews who were at least bilingual.
(Wikipedia)
GOD Protects His Sacred Words:
▪︎"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!
As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!" (Galatians 1:8-9)
▪︎Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away" (Matt 24:35)
▪︎God protects His Word the Gospels and warns of antichrists..
▪︎The Gospels are evidenced by internal and external historical, archeological & literary facts
▪︎The Gospels are unchanged and preserved over 2000 years and across all continents
▪︎The Gospels are reliable and transparent with any variations transparently referenced in the footnotes
▪︎The Gospels have 1000 times more manuscripts than the most documented ancient literature by Greco-Roman historian, Suetonius.
▪︎The Bible is the most comprehensive, profound and reliable source, account and narration about 1st century Jerusalem history, and today is used by archaeologists for supporting research and evidence.

Three Scholars on the Birmingham text;
Efin Rezvan (Russian scholar), was asked to do a lecture on the text by Birmingham University in 2015;
“Birmingham Fragments show several textual variants as well as verse numbering differences.”
“The very early dating of all these fragments-before the reign of Uthman-casts doubt on *both the Islamic tradition” *refer to the next section
“The fact the that the folios were kept for centuries in an iron box, underground can partly explain the early radiocarbon dating”
“Parchment was an expensive material (the skin of an entire animal was used to produce the big folio). Monastic and state scriptoria, located on the territory of Greater Syria, Antiochia, al Hira and Alexandria areas, could store this valuable material (including the donations of the pious laity). These stocks became part of the loot captured by the Arabs in the first years of the conquest. Captured leaves were used for writing the Quran.”
Conclusion; is that we cannot know when the writing took place as the carbon dating only gives a time line to the animal skin, not the writing, and the parchments were written on at a much later date.
Emilio Platti; “pointing out differences to the Sana codex-unquestionably the oldest manuscript (705), which therefore means that this Birmingham fragment is subsequent to the oldest manuscript (Sana).”
Dr. Jay Smith; the verses found on the Birmingham text pre-date Islam, examples and are plagiarised stories;
Sura 18:17-31; = the 7 sleepers of Ephesus (Metaphrastes & Surag 521 A.D.)
Sura 19: 91-98 = Proto Evangelium of James (145 A.D.)

171
O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth.
172
Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together.
173
And as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards and grant them extra from His bounty.

THIS RECITATION (Quranic verses)
were recited from the time of Mohammad (saw) and his 10 000 disciples/companions more than 5 x a day EVERY DAY during the Salats in congregation and STILL IS continually, NON-STOP by ever increasing Muslims...
NON-STOP RECITATION OF THE QURAN
as the Salat Times moves from country to country, globally as the Sun moves ...
THE POINT IS
There was not a time in history that Muslims RECITED THE QURAN BY HEART (hafiz) and to have it in a book form is a bonus.

@Kittykat Jesus is NOT God
New International Version
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Only god knows the day of judgement.
