    DANG THAT SUCKS!!!!! On a brighter note I ordered the alternator bracket that you have. Hope you get this mess straightened out.

    I had different anti-squat brackets on my 86 when I last raced it 6 years ago. I went to new control arms, which are really good, and didn't use the brackets...now the does not hook up anywhere as good as it once did. I will be putting them back on once I get it out next year (we now have snow, so my Foxbody season is over). Anyways, I hope you find a substitute, as they worked great for me. Great content!👍

      @@vrm86gt mine were built by Western Motorsports in Calgary Alberta probably over 20 years ago. They also sold their own rear contol arms with ajustable rear spring hight. Both are discontinued. With my new Maximum Motorsports control arms and the brackets, the back of my car sits too low. Maximum Motorsports makes a straight arm with ajustable rear spring height, but only for the Thunderbird. My new arms are the ones with the bend in the middle...and TBird arms are a bit too long. I'll get it sorted out in the spring...but the car will definitely be getting the brackets back on or something similar to reestablish the correct contol arm geometry.

      I did check the baseline unit and it may have worked with the BMR uppers but I went with the UPR pro street under axle ARB it will definitely fit!

    well that blows a phat one, sending that stuff back can be a big pain in the arse especially when its not your fault a defective parts. You would think as much as that stuff cost they could at least do a lil Q.C. work to prevent this kind of situation. O well its what we half to go thru to be able to enjoy our hobby is buy gadgets for our toys 🤣 Im doing a few things to beans to see if I can get those weak hp numbers I have up a lil more 🤣 Im waiting on some prostars (summit brand🤣) to come in so that i can order some slicks then maybe get it to the track and see if I can run a 10 with it. I belive it can with good tires . i mean if it cant thats a lil slow for the eighth 😆 and Ill need to figure it out 🤣

      yeah I cant wait to see how they feel and hook up , All ive ever ran was street tires which probally feels the same as slicks on a oily track 🤣

    Damn, that adjustment knob broke. Were you just turning them by hand?

    • @vrm86gt
      @vrm86gt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no, I accidentally was tightening the top nut without the bottom bolt in and the shock spun and hit the bracket, it was my fault.
