Hi from Estonia! Yesterday I received my 16 Pro Max. The screen occasionally doesn’t respond to touch, especially when typing. The new button is more of a nuisance than useful when recording video. I didn’t like the new color, but it’s probably not possible to return the phone since it’s already been activated.
@@shivamkrishn Thank you, friend. But after I transferred all my data from the old phone to the new one, the system on the new phone was already updated to the latest version. However, to this day, the problem still persists, and it hasn’t gone away. All day, I’m dealing with bugs from interacting with the screen. Unfortunately, nothing has helped me fix it so far. Even now, while I was writing this text, I encountered at least 10 bugs. I had to constantly go back and press the letter again.
The new indigo on the regular iPhone 16 looks great, same with teal. I think the next pro color should be a dark red or burgundy considering w have yet to see that on the pro models.
Don’t get the fascination with colors? Colors don’t increase or decrease the usability, they don’t make a device worth more or less, they are usually covered by a case anyways? Just don’t get it.
Battery life was awesome because I upgraded from the 12 mini and was at 96 percent and watched 3 hours of NFL RedZone and NASCAR and was at 52 percent at 5:30 because I had no WiFi due to my area being affected by hurricane Helene and it was so much fun and no complaints at all.
I think a telltale sign that the capture button wasn’t going to be great was the fact that they added it to the regular models. There’s just no way Apple would give a genuinely good feature to the normal phones at the same time as the pros, unless it was a bit unfinished and they needed more user input to see how to change/make it better. Wouldn’t be surprised if next year they fix every issue with the capture button but only apply those changes to the Pro models as a “Pro” feature.
It’s been a great upgrade since my IPhone 13 Pro Max. Enjoying the screen, action button, Dynamic Island, camera button, and the AI features that are being released.

I believe I do and I have a 16 pro max, main reason I upgraded was for battery life and it feels a little better than my 75% battery iPhone 13 Pro Max, sucks cause I should’ve waited for 17 when all the Apple intelligence will be fully released, around next year when the 17 launches…
I turned off my Camera Control, because it unfortunately becomes an obstacle when trying to hold my phone certain ways and accidentally pressing it too hard. I have too many photos already of my car’s windshield because of the phone mount in my car grabbing onto the button. I had to buy a magsafe accesory for my car which I’ve never really needed lol.
I’m left handed and set it to double click in the settings and haven’t had an issue since, also really like the one handed use I can use with the camera control button.

I was at the Apple Store buying new chargers since I am coming from a 14 pro max to a 16 pro max. I was told I can swipe left and the camera opens. What’s the point of an extra camera button? 😂
If you’re like me and like to take tons of photos and videos and record lots of audio, the couple hundred bucks up front to double your storage is well worth it. I have an 11 Pro with 256 GB, and only in the past few months have I been finding the storage to reach its limits and slow the overall experience down. I also use iCloud Photos because I have over 70,000 photos and videos from the past decade. I always lean into a little bit of future proofing for peace of mind.

if you record any video, it is nice to have more options there - but I can't say either way, it's really a personal choice. If you're happy with your setup, no need to change anything but if you're looking for something newer with more features, it may be worth trying. You do have a couple weeks return window if you decide it's not for you.
If you feel like 12Mp photos isn't high enough resolution. I would say it's worth the upgrade. If that's something you haven't even thought about, then the upgrade is probably not worth it. In my opinion, that's the main thing that actually makes a difference in daily life. Because, on your 13 Pro Max, you still have great battery life. Great performance. A very good screen. The ability to take ProRAW photos. And great camera sensors, with the main "downside" being that they're all limited to 12Mp (although there are some positives to that even).

@@Dr904 I would eventually like to start editing some of my travel photos and either uploading them to social media or eventually down the road, edit my videos and photos into some TH-cam clips that I might share with the world, so having said that maybe increasing the megapixels might not be a bad idea, will give it some more thought and I may purchase the 16 and try for a week or two and see if it is worthwhile for me and then have the option to return it. Keep your iPhone. You don't need a new one. First, explore all the features to the maximum and then upgrade if you have technical issues with your device or if you are really limited. There are so many things to do with your 13 Pro Max before upgrading.
The 16 Pro ultrawide camera still bins to 12 megapixels? I thought it would be 24 megapixels like the main camera, now that its sensor is also 48 megapixels.
On a 11 right now and tempted to upgrade but the 16 Pro doesn't really wow me. I know the upgradde will be noticeable from a 11 to 16 but wouldn't upgrading to a 15 just be the same thing?

I’m using an 11 Pro with 256 GB of storage that I bought in late summer 2020. It’s just started to really fill up this summer, which has made the experience a bit more jagged feeling. I also had the battery replaced in April after its capacity reached like 78%, but the replacement sadly doesn’t feel as good as the original battery did-I’m guessing this has more to do with how iOS 18 runs on this phone compared to iOS 14, more than the battery quality going down. The 16 and 16 Pro sound appealing, but not enough so to prioritize plopping down a grand on one of them anytime soon. I’d rather prioritize a 16” MacBook Pro with a ton of RAM and a couple TB of storage.

Let’s face it both Samsung and apple are struggling to make huge changes there’s only so much a phone can do, there’s only one thing I think apple are working on for perhaps the iPhone 18-20 and that’s a fold and flip, they won’t release one until they have it absolutely spot on with no potential fails, personally i thought they would of implemented the nano textured display or something similar by now but as for the arms race on who can produce the best phones possible I think it’s drying up, I’m a total iPhone fanboy only reason I wouldn’t have a Samsung or android alone is because they have so many models and mass produced them to the point it’s like coffee who wants a mass produced blend rather than a limited release,apple only keep iPhones like the pro models on sale for a year then discontinue whereas Samsung let’s face it you can still get brand new sealed S21 ultra which makes me think they have produced way to many and struggle to sell them even on sale

I need the blue color back. I’m still rocking the iPhone 15 Pro Max in that beautiful blue titanium color. The pro colors on the 16 are really bland.
