i wish i could sit down in person with someone and learn how to make animal characters, heck even characters. there's so much to learn and take in on this and i'm a on the job person, i can't really learn by youtube because i have sooo many questions all the time... Good work though. was cool to watch him come together.
The original tutorials are really messy. You'll catch them after watching them 2-3 days. But bro made it easy.

My question is what if you're custom mesh has multiple anatomical elements, like tails and tentencles. Wouldn't that effect the topology of the wrapped Metahuman?

great work ! i dont understand how you did it for the cloth. Must the cloth be made with the metahuman mesh ? or could we do it with a custom mesh ? did this process need some customise painting vertext job in maya ? thank you
Its a custom body,not a metahuman

if that the case,cancel it and restart your maya scene files,hope that helps.

I am having issues after wrapping. I exported the model as OBJ and opened up in Maya but it's all in one piece. How do I get my body, head, and eyes separated?
you need to separate them. Go to your UVs and select UV by Shell and select for example the head, then convert the selection to face,then extract it
@@JonCG Thanks for the tip. I was able to make the custom head and it's working. Now facing issue when joining the body. As soon as I hit Build Body, I get this error message - "Error: ValueError: file c:\Arts and Spells/Scripts\BuildBody_drv.py line 528: More than one object matches name: B2"
My process like this. I used combined mesh of MH to create a morph, imported into Zbrush to wrap with MH, imported wrapped custom model in Maya to separate head and body, added eyes in place, fired up Metapipe to finish everything until I reach the build body part where it fails. What am I doing wrong?
Can it be done with free version of MetaPipe? I need it one time only and i dont want to pay if i can do it with the free version
you can do it if you are patient enough. because it is manual work.some of the free version is not included on pro version

How did you automatically adjust the joints to your custom model? Did you put them all out in advance? Or how does it work? If this is all automatic, then there is no need for a face rig and this one is very good.
Its automatic process,but you can do it manually but its lot of works,I'm using a script
