The M4GTS was way before it’s time and with how much hate it got, I don’t understand how the CS variants are doing so well with double the production numbers. Yes the GTS was 132k but when you compare it to a fully specd m2cs at 110k for carbon parts that come standard if not an option on standard M models, or a m4cs for 117k with triple the production numbers. Glad I picked up my M4GTS at 74k w 3k miles 15 months ago, only 2 left for sale nation wide under 100k
Mine is on the boat headed to the states now. I own a M235i. I love how it drives. So I wanted the best variant of the 2 series. Is it worth the 23 over the Comp that is a hard sale. But this was an emotional purchase for me. I plan on keeping the car forever. So it is not a car that I am looking to get out of in a few years. I will baby it by keeping it in storage in the winter, because of the limit run for it. I do plan on getting a GT4 once it is paid for. I want to own the best of the entry level cars that the Germans make.
I’m starting to think I’d rather have the DCT on some of these cars than a manual. Just the fact that these cars shift the way they do makes up for not having a 3rd pedal. I’ve never driven an m2 but I have an m240i and even that zf8 is awesome. I love the way it cracks on upshifts. I can’t imagine how awesome the DCT would be.
Dear Matt, please, with sugar on top, get a gimbal, that you can use while going around the car. Anno 2021 having bouncing walk around simply does not cut it, since the videos are so great and the reviews priceless.

Came here to ask this!
Would you say, it’s ‘really nice’??
Seriously, what a machine!!
wow, those vistas, what a road.
Camera Quality looks amazing
Mine is on the boat headed to the states now. I own a M235i. I love how it drives. So I wanted the best variant of the 2 series. Is it worth the 23 over the Comp that is a hard sale. But this was an emotional purchase for me. I plan on keeping the car forever. So it is not a car that I am looking to get out of in a few years. I will baby it by keeping it in storage in the winter, because of the limit run for it. I do plan on getting a GT4 once it is paid for. I want to own the best of the entry level cars that the Germans make.
I would take the GTS 4.0 all day for the money, but the M2 CS looks pretty awesome.
I bought the M2CS 6MT but only because I already have a 997.2 GT2RS and I really hope to buy a GT4RS in early 2022.
Good lord you're carving up those roads.
that road is just the best
Awesome review... I’m in love with my M2 Comp... but really want one of these...
Merry Christmas Matt!
I like the old School notebook notes
The best thing about how much the m department hated the f chasis m3 and m4 is how much they fell in love with the 2 series
you are mobbing this car lmaoo i love it. just beatin the balls outta that 400 hp is awesome to watch
I think this is the best sports interior BMW has made in a while
2015-2020 are best, and then the beaver grill, I’m trying to find a low mileage one
Beaver is what the B in BMW stands for
Nice job Matt on 1 million subs! Hope everything is going well with your mega garage! Peace dude...
Big congrats on 1 million Matt! How would you compare this M2CS to the older BMW 1M?
What I would do to be able to run some lead-chase with you in the mountains. Love watching you carve up the canyons.
Matt: saying subjective things in a matter-of-fact way
Dear Matt, please, with sugar on top, get a gimbal, that you can use while going around the car. Anno 2021 having bouncing walk around simply does not cut it, since the videos are so great and the reviews priceless.
I guess the one thing this car has going for it in regards to its price tag compared to its peers in that price territory is the usefulness of it and practicality. It could be an all year car and a grocery getter where as the C8 not so much.
Beautiful car, just wish it came without m3 noises. It really is sub par compared to a base m2 with a nice exhuast. Great review though, congrats on hitting 1 million, you guys deserve it
