Honestly Caeleb is such an inspiration, he is probably my favorite swimmer ever. I think many swimmers can relate to him, he is very real and he shows what the sport is rly like.
This series is fantastic, hope it continues to shed more light on the sport of swimming! Edit: I also love how Cody Miller is in every single one of these with his vlogs haha
Great to see how two swimmers and competitors are pushing each other to their limits. Very entertaining compared to just one person on top. Always good to see a good rivalry
I have been inspired by Caeleb for all the time I have been swimming. He shows that through hard times it's possible to power through and achieve great things.
I hope he gets his own TH-cam channel so he can start doing vlogs he’s incredible swimmer and person I’ll see him again in 2020 hopefully be able to do a swim with him this year I didn’t do it because I didn’t like the sport of swimming but I ended out on a great note and I’m gonna have a fresh start in the fall and new coaches I’m excited.
Just saying that pushing off without a wall has significantly helped me with my underwater. If anyone else is like me and isn't great at underwater give it a go. It really helps
Guys think Andrew will be on the 4x100 free in 2019 or 2020? That should be an interesting.. I think he could also push for the breast in the medley. Also will be interesting to see if the Fosters could shake things up come 2020
Aakos94 Even though the fosters are young, I think that they have a shot to make it, specifically Carson in either the 200 or 400 IM. Both of those are pretty open right now.
I don’t think Andrew will get into the relays (maybe in the heats), I think the free relay from SC worlds is pretty strong. Wilson will also be hard to beat for Andrew in the Breaststroke for the Medley Relay
400 free relay Favorites Dressel Held Pieroni Apple Also Tate Jackson Chadwick Adrian? (would have to return) Andrew? (NOT a 100 freestyler) The medley relay breast spot will be an interesting choice. Wilson Miller if he bounces back Cordes Andrew
What do you guys think about Michael Andrew's chances this summer at world championships? I think his best chance for gold is in the 50m butterfly. Let's face that he won't win (or even final) in any 100. Ben Proud will smoke him in the 50 free if Caeleb won't, it will take a world record to beat koleshnikov in the 50 back this summer and the only person that could've possibly challenged Peaty in the 50 breast is Cameron van der Burgh. I don't necessarily think Michael will win it, but the other 50s are just not up for grabs.
i've watched this multiple times and I just noticed that ya he had a bad summer but still it's only 50s those aren't int the olympics he should focused on his best events [100 free and 100 fly]
This is one of the best series on TH-cam!! If you’re interested at all in watching my New series “No Excuses.” about training for Olympic trials here’s a link! th-cam.com/video/nFxp_wYEWh8/w-d-xo.html
Andrew is all speed and no endurance. Missed out on medals in the Olympics because he couldn't close out races and faided in the end. Guy needs to sit down with his dad/coach and rethink their training strategies
Aakos94 If he wants to chase 8, he has to pick up a 4th individual event, and that’s under the assumption that he’ll swim the 4x200. I see very little way that he doesn’t take on the 200IM, that SCY time at SECs blew me away.
@@thebossness1440 Yeahh ever since that 200 IM at SECs I've thought he might have a shot. Even the breast may have been on the table if it weren't for Peaty.
Aakos94 I’d have to disagree on the breast one, just because SCY breast in my experience tends to convert much more heavily on walls, than any other SCY-to-LCM event. If you look at Dressel’s splits from his 49 at NCAAs post surfacing, it’s pretty evident he’s slower than virtually everyone else in the field. Even the current record holder in the SCY version, Ian Finnerty, is primarily known for his sprint free and seems to have cruised to victory via pullouts rather than a high velocity, flexible stroke. I honestly doubt without spending an unproductively long time on efficiency things, he’d be able to even crack a minute, or the Olympic final in the 100 breast LCM. Even thats only if (in this hypothetical scenario) he beats out Kevin Cordes, Miller, Finnerty, Wilson, Licon, and Shebat at trials. It just seems more unlikely than you likely think.
@@thebossness1440 True, long course breast stroke is a whole different game. But hopefully some people step up for team USA in that event and the rest should be covered. That medley relay in 2020 is gonna be quite the race with GB
@@thebossness1440 I heard Dressel was big into breaststroke and the 200 I.M. in high school but when he came to Florida Troy trained him in sprint, so we'll have to see what he can manage.

1 year later, that feels about right :D

If you look at all these great swimmers, it makes me feel Michael Phelps is a true legend. He barely ever loses in every event he swims in.
Well, it's different than what sprinters do but okay.
Phelps was pro at 15, never really went through that transition which is probably a good reason why Caeleb struggled
@@drewelric118 Andrew went pro at 14 I believe.
He’s so good that every time he doesn’t win gold it’s a loss
