Shantien NEEDS to be in Wilds. With Espinas in Sunbreak opening the Frontier roster up I pray we get this legendary beast, if not for him being one of the coolest monsters but for the music alone.
With Espinas (and now, the Espinas subspecies) added to the roster of Monster Hunter Rise, there is now a small glimmer of hope that we'll see Shantien in a mainline MH game! The other thing I like about the hunt is that you don't actually kill Shantien - you just wear it down and enrage it to the point where it tries to unleash an attack so powerful and unstable that its body just gives out.
did you notice that its body structure is similar to narwa and ibushi, nearly the same skeleton. Lets not forget we didnt even fight the ,,offspring'' yet of them
If you watch gameplay vids of Shantiyen, the music cycles through each of the themes as you progress through the fight's four phases. This theme is for the final phase of the fight.
You're fighting this creature to the death as he is tired of your shit for invading his territory. XD But I just love how this song makes it seem like it's a battle that will decide the fate of the world. It really tells you just how powerful Shanthien is. Easily my favourite boss theme as of now.

Of the monsters in the spinoffs. Spidermonkey+baby, bamboo elderdragon doggo, Epinas, MHO flagship with bugs, the electric crab, crystal scorpion dude, tartonis, the hybrid between urkanlos urugaan and volvidon, finally shantien. They deserve a spot in the front.
Ancient Civilization committed a forbidden act that went against nature. By using both technology and biology, this society was able create their own lifeforms by using equipment and materials to build them from scratch. "Equal Dragon Weapon". Hundreds of dragons were sacrificed just to create 1 Equal Dragon Weapon, and this pissed Fatalis & all other monsters off. Fatalis rallied his brethren, wyverns & elder dragons and declared the Great Dragon War against the ancient civilization. Shantiyen is one the the leaders of the elder dragons between during the great war along with Fatalis & Disufiora, they annihilated and brought extinction upon the Ancient Civilization. Fatalis flew to somewhere to be ascended and became White Fatalis. With Fatalis absences, Shantiyen and Disufiora were competing on which either of them would replace Fatalis as the new Leader. Disufiora wins. For Shantiyen it flew into the clouds, gaining more power to have a rematch with Disufiora to take the throne of Elder Dragons.
I always pictured Shantien (as a male) and Amatsu (as a female) as a couple. Two very different dragons from very different games, but with the same power: Storm Command. It's like they were made for each other if you ask me. Design-wise, they could make a Leafy Sea-Dragon monster.

they probably are gameplay wise, frontier likes making thier monsters overpowered. probably not story wise tho, fatalis is said to be able to burn the world in a few days and easily burn any monster to ashes in seconds, even ones like dalamadur, and alatreon is said to be elementally unstable and also really strong
Maybe I'm making a few assumptions, but I feel like it makes more sense when you take Shantien's point of view into account; he is willing to go to such gratuitous lengths to defend his territory, putting his own life at risk with his own attacks, that for both hunter and dragon, it really does feel like the world is at stake. It's not unlike battle between two honour bound heroes of their own story. Of course, that's just my interpretation.
Taylor Geffken look at all the dumbass deathbattles theres been: Goku vs superman. riptor vs yoshi. guts vs nightmare. so yes, i can compare two universes. also its about time MH got one.
Maybe we will be able to get a 15 stars quest at the end of all title update for sunbreak, "the last hunter breath" hunting à kushala, ibushi, narwa, valstrax, shantien and amatsu. Epic 👉👌

Shanthien is probably the strongest monster in the series as of now. I want to fight it so bad! I would like to see how Capcom tops this... is that even possible? the answer is no.
Probably because Frontier uses the same engine as the main series entries, thus monsters are easily transferred from them to Frontier...well, at least thats what i think, dont take my word for it
Probably the reason why it's not in world is because they would have to remodel the monster with a new skeleton and particle effects would have to be altered as well. And I know that would take a very long time to complete.
And I here I thought the first theme was the best even MH soundtrack, until I found this. Its like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster. even that doesn't do it justice
Kuarusepusu sounded far too similar to the Water Temple to me...and I think it was Odibatorasu that SOMEWAYSOMEHOW reminded of Forest Temple? Or some other Zelda jingle, I don't remember anymore, but Capcom is still up to some crazy shit...

However, as all seems lost, one of the hunters, gravely wounded, struggles back up, after thinking about his family back at home. His wife, his daughter, and his newborn son. An image built with so much power and emotion, that it has made the hunter acquire an indestructible will of ambition to do whatever it takes, to slay the elder dragon Shantien... and make it back alive. Detaining from such determination can not be condoned to see the light of day. The time for him to act is now. Failure is not an option.)*
*Do or die. Hunt or be hunted. That is the law of Monster Hunter*
*For the environment.*
*For the protection of humanity.*
*For the sake of the entire world.*
*That is their job.*
*Hearts of true warriors that never hold back against anything*
*Spirits that never die*
*And born strong*
You should be Monster Hunter's poet. I hope Capcom will have a place for you.
MonStarDrakoSaur 9000 true
I'm kicking myself for not discovering this game years ago when it came out. At the moment, I don't see such great fights in RiseBreak as there are in Frontier with such an epic soundtrack. ❤
OK now that is my favorite theme
Everything about this is AMAZING!
What an epic theme..
7 hours and this lad will be revealed for sunbreak :COPIUM:
Nop amatsu and unfortunatly a malzeno variant for the final update as a final boss lol
@@zakariachakri3182 amatsu is the final boss
impressive
Capcom give us a super cool monster like this. Surprise us
With Espinas in sunbreak, there may be a chance that we get shantien.
God i hope so
Our Bluey boi needs to be in, its a Must monster for the mainline IMO
Congratulations you just predicted Ibushi and Narwa two years in advance lmao
@@cloudwyrms9752 not what i had in mind, but i'll take it.
i LOWKEY predicted them. i say again, the Storm Serpents weren't exactly what i had in mind.
Imagine if this theme started blasting in a trailer for a rise title update
I'll throw my switch out of goosebumps
Ibushi and Narwa are both seahorse elder dragons and have an offspring so fingers crossed.
@@nintendex9288 Narwa really felt like something straight out of Frontier. I can hardly wait to see everything they have planned.
Phase 4 on santien mind : yeah i think i know now the meaning of F around and find out and I am really screwed
This is amazing !!!
I wish this monster would be in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. I'd seriously fight it so many times.
You wish all monsters from frontier would come to 4U or even Monster Hunter 5
This is true :P! I just wish this particular one would be in.
Check the new MH4U trailer. There's a flying dragonship and a monster hidden in a storm. We're getting something like this B).
If we got this. I'd be so excited; more than I already am.
Amatsumagatsuchi says hello
it's something like 28°C in my room and yet I'm having shivers...
you're not just fighting a mere dragon, you're fighting a god
Bien dit 😉
amatsu: im a joke for u?
@@dante_hunter6050 Shantien: Yes. Yes you are
White Fatalis: *risitas laugh
@@dante_hunter6050 lmao shantien would turn amatsu into a used rag 😂😂
Magnifique thème 3 ans d'écoute et toujours pas d'ennui cette épiquenness ne disparaîtra jamais 😊
Les séries Monster hunter c quand même les meilleurs jeux c affolant
After spending half of my life on Ark Survival Evolved and half on Monster Hunter , I am convinced that this will make the best Ark ascension theme for a new DLC
Goodbye Frontier...hope to see some of those monsters in the main series...hopefully..
It's sad not many people will get to experience the fight (me included) it looks so cool!
Capcom has promissed to bring the severall frontier monsters to next installment of MH and well man MONSTER HUNTER RISE (and also STORIES 2) was annouced and lets make a wish for that 2 games (or maybe 1 of em) including severall frontier monsters (that not crap Lavasioth)
@@brokenhearth1826 If anything they need to bring back Frontier Lavasioth because he's fun as Hell than the snoozefest we've got
@𝕸𝖗. 𝕾𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖘𝖊𝖊𝖗 so this comment didnt age very well
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING AN EPIC SONG FOR ME!
Wow Rain somebody put a epic theme for you.
Lary The Lagiacrus
Are you the same guy, or what ?
Lord Hades What are you talking about?
Adam Stewart Um No were not related to each because i am a Elder Dragon and Lary is a Leviathan.
Adam Stewart Yes are body shape are similar.
Shantien: Amatsu? you mean my Bitch!
0:29 I don't know why,but this part reminds me a lot to the Ssj 3 theme,I'm the only one??
*Imperial Wrath of the Azure Dragon - Shantien* (soundtrack name)
Imagine these returning in HD in mhrise, that would be EPIC, with a remastered orchesta too
I was here thinking exactly the same thing...
And this monster fit really well in Rise as my opinion!
This reminds me of the Inception soundtrack crossed with the Thor: Ragnarok theme.
W...H....Y CAPCOM WHY MUST YOU PUT ONE OF THE BEST GAMES AWAY FROM US!!??
Cause western peeps ain't into games like this as much and plus it wouldn't sell well as opposed to them keeping it in Japan
WEST HAS TOO MUCH FORTSHIT , APEX LEGE-NOT, AND OTHER FPS PVP shits... majority favors that more than mh... heck why else would ya think capcom was holding back mh and just as of now release world universally, besides cost and time efficiency ofcourse
To sum up.. too much pvp silly battleroyale goin on in western market... like geez just why? They dont even have a story and character development not to mention the graphics are kinda cartoony *lookin at u fortshit*
@@dan4455 pretty much JRPGs like this aren't as entertaining to most
@@zerotheassassin4046 fam.. its battleroyale you just move and shoot, there is no real deductive analysis about how characters came to be and all that... GAMES ARE A FORM OF DIGITAL LITERATURE not mindless move n shoot stiff pvp
the best musique theme
I keep on hearing previous monster themes from previous games and just want them in Rise/ Sunbreak now. Maybe one day now that Espinas got added.
Thanks so much foruploading these *-* So glad that i found this channel :D
shit got real
wish some day this game come out on europe or unless MHO i really miss to play MH
I need to find a way to repeat this song
0:00 there you go buddy :)

You're welcome.
WWhiteSShadow I dont know how to thank you.
John Lindeman
Tribute video? :D
You are setting my standers to high.
Narwa and Ibushi's child. Must be. Has to be. I need this.
Elder of them maybe not the child
I hope in G-rank of MH Wilds
All 4 of these songs for this guy are awesome. Now if only this game came out of japan but considering the first didnt to my knowledge I doubt this will, oh well MH4 hopefully wont be japan only.
And that is why we need Shantiyen in Iceborne.
(I don't care if he's a Frontier monster.)
Shantien has brought us Mitsutzune...
holy shit
literally the only Monster next to Raviente i wanna see in mainline MH games
he'd be so good for rise, imagine scaling the cliffs while this theme blasts, god that'd be awesome
this guy was fun
The next game pls bring back every monster back
lagiacrus + mizutsune + anatsu = this thing
Lazul E *amatsu*
a bit of agnaktor in this bitch too
What if instead of kushala what if the monster behind mh4u highrank story was this?
MonsterHunter Jerry then it would be powerful
Someone made a mod for Monster hunter rise for PC that changes the Allmother BGM to this.
thats just my mind imagining i guess, still its a great song none the less
Hiké, Legendary rainbow dragon 😈💪
Sounds like something out of a Metroid game at the very start of this theme anyone else agree?
+Joshua Dixon I was gonna say that, too
I think, that Dhisufiroa and Shantien are stronger than the most other elder dragons, maybe stronger than Alatreon and Fatalis.
It's time for a DEATHBATTLE!
they probably are gameplay wise, frontier likes making thier monsters overpowered.
probably not story wise tho, fatalis is said to be able to burn the world in a few days and easily burn any monster to ashes in seconds, even ones like dalamadur, and alatreon is said to be elementally unstable and also really strong
Lol White Fatty snorts Dhisufiroa and Shantien’s souls like coke.
La canción hace pensar que el destino del mundo depende en esta batalla, cuando en realidad solo pasamos por el territorio del Shantien xd
The new tráiler gives me hope for this beauty
Imagine a death battle between Shantiyen and Rayquaza?
who would win?
probably Rayquaza......
Tarchios you can't compare two different universes
Taylor Geffken look at all the dumbass deathbattles theres been:
Goku vs superman.
riptor vs yoshi.
guts vs nightmare.
so yes, i can compare two universes. also its about time MH got one.
Tarchios shantiyen sure
Tarchios
Normal or Mega Rayquaza though?
Can we have Shantien, Amatsu, Mega Rayquaza and Lugia slug it out in one massive stormy battle?
0:57 1:25 1:53 2:07
Maybe we will be able to get a 15 stars quest at the end of all title update for sunbreak, "the last hunter breath" hunting à kushala, ibushi, narwa, valstrax, shantien and amatsu. Epic 👉👌
Call me skeptical but I have a feeling Shantien will be in one of DLC's if not the final DLC for sunbreak.
See you next year!
Praying he’s what drove Amatsu to rampage
Me: *hear this music for the first time 5 minutes ago*
Me:
Me:

Me: I've never played frontier but I swear IF THEY DON'T ADD SHANTIEN IN RISE I'LL KILL SOMEONE-
I mean I saw his battle I think he would be cool in rise, like you jump with the wirebug to hit him while he fly
まず始まりで鳥肌立つ。
やりたかったなぁ、フロンティア。
カプコンさん、ワイルズでフロンティアのモンスター復刻してくれなかったら、次は本気でおちょくりますから。
Shanthien is probably the strongest monster in the series as of now. I want to fight it so bad!
I would like to see how Capcom tops this...
is that even possible?
the answer is no.
Dhisufiroa called... he wants to have a talk with you.
So does HC Fatalis and HC Crimson Fatalis
Velocidrome approves this message.
So does Kelbi
***** OH SHET! It was the Kelbi's plans all along. They will take over the world!
Kind of looks like a floating Lagiacrus to me :V Never played Frontier before ;-;
Why is it that the mains series of Mh games Never get any frontier monsters, but frontier Gets all of the main entry monsters?
Probably because Frontier uses the same engine as the main series entries, thus monsters are easily transferred from them to Frontier...well, at least thats what i think, dont take my word for it
DDViking hypnocatrice and lavaioth are originally from frontier
Probably the reason why it's not in world is because they would have to remodel the monster with a new skeleton and particle effects would have to be altered as well. And I know that would take a very long time to complete.
GOD DAMN I WANT TO FIGHT THIS THING!
(i hope it makes it to the west someday)
Nope dude, those Monsters are Frontier exclusive - for the most part. Some Frontier monsters somehow made it to Monster Hunter Online.
And I here I thought the first theme was the best even MH soundtrack, until I found this. Its like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster. even that doesn't do it justice
the second most powerful monster
does the intro remind anyone else of "zoura's domain" from LOZ?
Kuarusepusu sounded far too similar to the Water Temple to me...and I think it was Odibatorasu that SOMEWAYSOMEHOW reminded of Forest Temple? Or some other Zelda jingle, I don't remember anymore, but Capcom is still up to some crazy shit...
Da-Ja Thinks does everything from this game remind you of Zelda?
