FREAKING METEORS!!! So powerful, it has own ELEMENT?! This is on level of gods now! I can't even believe this is still monster hunter! Team MH developers, whatever you're smoking.....KEEP. SMOKING. IT.
The things Capcom put in this spinoff series really makes the core franchise look easy in comparison... Dhisufiroa really exemplifies that. There are few games in this genre that yeild a critter as insane as this. Anyone here at all have any experience against this thing?
@@Vayne_Solidor Well, compared to monsters in any other game, yes, but there are other monsters in Frontier that also stand at a relatively similar difficulty level. Arrogant Duremudira, Sparkling Zerureusu, Blinking Nargacuga, Howling Zinogre, Solstice War Unknown, and of course, G-rank White Fatalis all come to mind. Okay I retract the G-rank White Fatalis part. Once you know that White Fatalis can't really do much of anything if you just dodge the wind pressure and keep track of the melee attacks, then it's actually pretty easy...
This is what I most love and fear of all black dragon themes. From it's appearance and the theme. It fights in the '' World's End ''. But the bright colours of it doesn't feel like a monster anymore. You are fighting the pure elements. And the theme, felt like satan is keep whispering the your ears. It really creeps me the shit out. If G rank crimson fatalis is the opening of hell, this is the end of hell. No souls to cry out. Only one big demon brings you doom. This is one of the best mh or game music I ever heard. I'm now gonna try setup play a frontier private server to fight this demon.
I was thinking about this, and I'd like some other opinions on this theory I have. You may have noticed that he has a very close resemblance to Alatreon. My theory is that while Alatreon is a very powerful Dragon indeed, it's still only a juvenile. I mean, it is elementally unstable so it doesnt have full control of the elements it possesses. My theory is that much like Gore Magala and Shagaru Magala, Alatreon upon reaching its full maturity, will eventually become a Dhisufiroa, and finally gain full control of the elements it possesses.
Maybe Alatreon is capable of evolving into two forms: Dhisufiroa (Dragon,Fire Ice) and other form (Dragon,Water , Thunder). Dragon would be the running theme for these things, but depending on WHERE they entered adulthood, they would evolve to either one ( e.g an Alatreon that's in a hot or cold climate would turn to a Dhisufiroa, while a rainy and lightening heavy areas would turn it into that form( for now lets call it Raitomizugon. I just literally went to translate and typed up stuff that would make it sound cool: plus "Raito" is part of the word "Raitoningu", meaning lightning, and "Mizu" for water). If that's the case, the Alatreon probably learned to control water due to the massive exposure of rain before growing up. Thunder is self explanatory really, Alatreon always had control over Thunder while in sky mode.
I want this guy in the main series, whether they slightly alter his mechanics or just keep them the same. If not in a Sunbreak Title Update, then a mainline game after that. I saw him and I immediately loved him. I mean, Frozen Seraphim? That's amazing, I've always had a weakness for beautiful, angelic characters as brutal antagonists that will hand your ass to you. O.O... that metal guitar background and the ominous chorus. No theme has that sort of impact unless you're in for some serious pain. And to think this thing kills itself when it tries to kill you... but if it survives that, it steps up it's horrific god killing abilities to the maximum. Such a shame the Frontier servers were shut down so I'll never be able to experience the fight itself (couldn't anyways since I don't live in Japan) unless it gets heavily watered down to be introduced in the mainline series.
Unlike others, I consider 0:49 to 1:07 and 3:00 to 3:19 to be my favorite parts. Dhisufiroa's themes are still quite a pleasent surprise to me, as are Amatsu and Shantien's.

Adam Stewart It looks really cheap when they try to make overly flashy attacks in what still looks like the Freedom Unite engine but keep the exact same animations as Alatreon. Alatreon's theme I'd say suits him quite well, considering that he's elementally unstable, so should his theme. He's known as the blazing black dragon and a living natural disaster so the organ would fit it too. Dhisufiroa just looks like an over-designed mess, like a lot of the frontier monsters. Frontier is like the farthest from Monster Hunter before it becomes like some other MMO.
Today I thought of something very interesting. A lot of you probably already thought of this but I'm just pointing it out. Each elder dragon is pretty much the god of...something. For example: Amatsumagatsuchi: Storm god (but its song name already says that.) Inagami: Bamboo/forest god (I guess) Lao shan lung: Mountain god Ceadeus: Sea god Shagaru Magala: God of darkness/chaos There are a few that I can't really figure out thou...like this guy.

Not too far away from where they fought Shantien, they stumble upon an evil-looking barren wasteland. In ancient times, Shantien fought against a powerful Elder Dragon for supremacy over its domain, but it was ultimately defeated by the monster at the end of the great battle. Shantien's rival is an Elder Dragon known as Disufiroa, the Frozen Seraphim Dragon. Long thought to be extinct by the Guild until it was rediscovered by hunters on the Large Exploration Ship, Disufiroa is considered to be the strongest monster encountered in G-rank for Mezeporta. In terms of strength, Disufiroa ranks far above most other Elder Dragons. Disufiroa lives at the World's End, and it is the only known creature to live there. No plants or animals can be found there, and that's all because of Disufiroa's presence. Just like Alatreon, Disufiroa's abilities make it impossible for a stable ecosystem to sustain itself. Disufiroa is nicknamed the Frozen Seraphim Dragon because of its ability to control fire and ice. Its horn controls cold air, creating ice, while organs in its body produce fire. Rathalos But Shantien is still stronger than the Crimsom fatalis G. In fact Shantien is really close to be one of the strongest monsters in the whole MH universe,but of course Dhisufiroa is just like a god or something. There is even a stronger version of Dhisufiroa called Shiten Dhisufiroa he is like satan rubbing his balls in your face. Strongest monster so far.

(Dhisufiroa takes to the skies fire and ice encasing his frame as he charges towards the worn hunters. The dragon's speed caught the hunters off guard, they dodge, a scream follows quickly. The hunters gaze back at the dragon and to their horror witness their youngest member attached to Dhisufiroa's horn a thin ice spear sticking out of his back. Dhisufiroa grins at the two hunters licking the blood oozing from his latest victim.) (Fighting to keep their feelings at bay they retreat to the ice spires, Dhisufiroa charges again shattering the spire, one of the two with a gunlance blocks the blow with her shield, her arm breaking from the blow. Actually, the strongest MONSTER is the Ancient Rathian Subspecies, not some "Elder Dragon"... After all, it CANNOT be killed by any single person, unlike a vast majority of elder dragons, including the White Fatalis. Thank you for your time.

I can't remember if this had Thunder element. I think it only had Dragon, Fire, and Ice.

O.O... that metal guitar background and the ominous chorus. No theme has that sort of impact unless you're in for some serious pain. And to think this thing kills itself when it tries to kill you... but if it survives that, it steps up it's horrific god killing abilities to the maximum.
Such a shame the Frontier servers were shut down so I'll never be able to experience the fight itself (couldn't anyways since I don't live in Japan) unless it gets heavily watered down to be introduced in the mainline series.
Nowadays you can experience it ;)

Unlike others, I consider 0:49 to 1:07 and 3:00 to 3:19 to be my favorite parts. Dhisufiroa's themes are still quite a pleasent surprise to me, as are Amatsu and Shantien's.
Too this day... Dhisufiroa's theme songs are among my favourites.

It looks really cheap when they try to make overly flashy attacks in what still looks like the Freedom Unite engine but keep the exact same animations as Alatreon. Alatreon's theme I'd say suits him quite well, considering that he's elementally unstable, so should his theme. He's known as the blazing black dragon and a living natural disaster so the organ would fit it too. Dhisufiroa just looks like an over-designed mess, like a lot of the frontier monsters. Frontier is like the farthest from Monster Hunter before it becomes like some other MMO.
Today I thought of something very interesting. A lot of you probably already thought of this but I'm just pointing it out. Each elder dragon is pretty much the god of...something. For example:
Amatsumagatsuchi: Storm god (but its song name already says that.)
Inagami: Bamboo/forest god (I guess)
Lao shan lung: Mountain god
Ceadeus: Sea god
Shagaru Magala: God of darkness/chaos
There are a few that I can't really figure out thou...like this guy.

After some time passes, the stranded hunters repair the Large Exploration Ship and make it operational, taking to the skies once again as they leave the volcanic region. Not too far away from where they fought Shantien, they stumble upon an evil-looking barren wasteland.
It looks like they walked straight into the underworld, and there doesn't seem to be any kind of life here. No plants grow here... No animals live here... But why? The hunters will soon learn why, and the one monster that lives here is often considered to be the "strongest."
In ancient times, Shantien fought against a powerful Elder Dragon for supremacy over its domain, but it was ultimately defeated by the monster at the end of the great battle. Shantien's rival is an Elder Dragon known as Disufiroa, the Frozen Seraphim Dragon.
Long thought to be extinct by the Guild until it was rediscovered by hunters on the Large Exploration Ship, Disufiroa is considered to be the strongest monster encountered in G-rank for Mezeporta. In terms of strength, Disufiroa ranks far above most other Elder Dragons.
Disufiroa lives at the World's End, and it is the only known creature to live there. No plants or animals can be found there, and that's all because of Disufiroa's presence. Just like Alatreon, Disufiroa's abilities make it impossible for a stable ecosystem to sustain itself.
Disufiroa is nicknamed the Frozen Seraphim Dragon because of its ability to control fire and ice. Its horn controls cold air, creating ice, while organs in its body produce fire. The two elements constantly conflict with each other as Disufiroa uses them together.
Its control over these elements causes some of its scales to be white and cold or red and hot. By using these elements together, Disufiroa can cause extreme temperature changes to an ecosystem, making it difficult for other species to live within the same environment as it does.
Although it can control fire and ice simultaneously, it comes at a cost. Disufiroa is one of the strongest monsters known, but its power is its greatest weakness. Disufiroa's life is always in danger when it uses the two elements, meaning it could kill itself if it loses control.
To stay alive, Disufiroa has to keep a balance between its elemental powers to maintain control of them. If it loses control of just one of them, it'll end up freezing itself like a frozen statue and dying. Rumor has it that some frozen Disufiroa aren't really dead.
Interestingly, countless scars can be found on its wings. They may come from previous battles it has had.Disufiroa's weapons have a new element called Frozen Seraphim (Japanese 熾凍), which is a combination of Fire (80%), Ice (80%), and Dragon (40%). A fun fact about Disufiroa and Shantien is that both are weak to each other's elements, more so Disufiroa.
From the beginning of its development, Disufiroa's whole design and concept is meant to reflect "strength." Throughout Monster Hunter Frontier G, Disufiroa is called "G's Strongest" (Japanese Ｇ級最強), plus it's the second Conquest War monster introduced to Frontier.

There has been unusual activity at the World's End recently. It looks as if Disufiroa has returned, but something seems different about this individual compared to the last one.
After Monster Hunter Frontier G5, it had two smaller updates in-between before G6: G5.1 and G5.2. In these two updates, Monster Hunter Frontier introduced a new addition to the Conquest War system called the Solstice War (Japanese 至天征伐戦).
The Solstice Wars were special in the fact that the monsters that appeared in them were at their highest level, Level 9999, from the start. Like Conquest War monsters, these monsters had increased defense and attack power, making them much stronger than any average monster.
Not only did these monsters get a buff in their stats, but these monsters also gained new moves and another phase to their battle, bringing out their full potential. There are only two Solstice War monsters in Frontier, and the first was Disufiroa. It had made its grand return!
Though most Disufiroa die once they lose control of their power, some have figured out ways to free themselves from suspended animation upon freezing themselves.
Once these powerful individuals have reawakened, they'll surround themselves in fire, melting most of the ice off their body, before fighting more fiercely than ever before.
When it was first revealed that Disufiroa had come back stronger than ever for G5.1, everyone was speechless. They somehow made the strongest monster more terrifying than ever and come back with a vengeance, wanting revenge after we had supposedly slain it.

@@itme8622 Even if you didn’t know the full details, you can see the resemblance. Both have extreme elemental powers, the same body structure/skeleton, and most of all, the blue spikes on Dhisufiroa’s chest are the same as Alatreon’s

(Fire begins to appear from the dragons claws, as sleet wraps around him like a freezing cloak.)
Dhisufiroa: "Much time has passed since l have ever felt the pain of battle, and it shall be longer before l feel it again. Your deaths are now imminent, and they will not be swift."
(Dhisufiroa takes to the skies fire and ice encasing his frame as he charges towards the worn hunters. The dragon's speed caught the hunters off guard, they dodge, a scream follows quickly. The hunters gaze back at the dragon and to their horror witness their youngest member attached to Dhisufiroa's horn a thin ice spear sticking out of his back. Dhisufiroa grins at the two hunters licking the blood oozing from his latest victim.) (Fighting to keep their feelings at bay they retreat to the ice spires, Dhisufiroa charges again shattering the spire, one of the two with a gunlance blocks the blow with her shield, her arm breaking from the blow. The other hunter with the great sword leaps channeling all his might into this one strike cuts Dhisufiroa's left wing from his body, Dhisufiroa is frozen in complete shock of what had just happened, the male grabs the gunlance lying at the females feet with all his remaining strength charges the wyvern fire and rams the barrel into the dragon's chest, a large bang echos and Dhisufiroa stumbles back. A hole in his chest 4 feet wide where his heart use to be. The dragon's body quickly freezes over. The male thrusts a barrel bomb into the hole, then using the bowgun of his fallen companion shatters the frame of Dhisufiroa.) END! l hope you enjoyed that.
