    I just started to use Trello. I am a rookie. I use it for Personal to help me remember. I have 3 list. 1. What book I am reading. I use the label green. 2. What chapter I have read. That label is yellow. 3. Finish. That label is red.
    Excellent advice!

    I saw. you used labels to identify numerous concerns or attributes. In a different video, you used labels to align To-Dos to specific projects. My concern is that putting too much information into a label construct makes it difficult to understand and use consistently. So for instance, if I use labels to imply urgency and also to identify projects I may have a project with an urgent to-do so which color do I use? Other than creating a list for each project (then I can't differentiate the info you have across the top) is there another easy way to differentiate projects so that labels can imply urgency or some other critical attribute?

  • @DimitriHofman

    Hi Scott, I was wondering what you use or would recommend to plan your tasks. And with planning, I mean, how do you make sure that all the cards that you put in the "Confirmed" list (to use your example) can actually be done. How do you make sure you are not over-committed, that you have the resources available and that other tasks (maybe in a "Confirmed" list on another board) are not interfering with your tasks on this board.

    • @Simpletivity
      @Simpletivity  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question, Dimitri. I try to limit the total number of tasks that I pursue in a given day. While I could use the estimated time of tasks to complete, I find this takes too much time and is also too variable. Therefore, I'll purposefully pursue a smaller number of tasks per day so that in the late afternoon, I can start tackling things I've scheduled for tomorrow (nice positive way to finish the day).

    hi there, trello allows you to invite different team member to review task. But does the trello board allows the creator to invite and remove team members from time to time? Also, if the creator wants to leave the board, can another member take control as the master of the trello board?

    • @Simpletivity
      @Simpletivity  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and yes. The board administrator can control who is added and can remove members if needed. They can also promote other members to be an admin and take over the board.

    We have multiple users - and multiple boards. How can I 'freeze' or protect a card from being changed other than notes. I don't want a card (my card) to have its custom fields, etc. changed if it needs to leave my board for a while and go to someone else process board(s). I hope that makes sense, and I really hope there is a solution. Thanks

    Much more expensive than Trello, and doesn't have a free version of the product. Premium features may not be worth the cost when Zentao can do most of what this can do for free.
