Yo JL, Hershel's always been that GAME CHANGING spot!!! I always got my sandwiches from the Terminal back when I worked at Loews Philly. When I was in the mood for some Hot Pastrami, Hershel's was the spot to hit. Shot out to you for finally put them on so now the people here in Hawaii will know what I'm talking about in regards to some damn good sandwiches coming from out of Philly other than Cheesesteaks and Hoagies.
Lived in Philly for 14 years. Loved every second of it. 92' to 2006. Made some of the best friends in my life. Some of the best food anywhere, also an amazing culture and history. Philly made my early 20's to mid 30's some of the best years of my life to this day. Even better, I met my amazing wife in Philly. If we didn't love the current state we live in (Colorado) so much, we would move back to center city in a second. FYI... Tony Luke's or Dalessandro's. No question....

I just got back from a conference in Philly. Every time I go to Philly, which is at least once a year, my first stop after dropping my bags is Herschel’s East Side, for a pastrami sandwich. Whether it is pastrami and cheese, the Rachel, or the Reuben, it has always been fabulous and fills me with joy! Your staff is the best and clearly take pride in what they do. Love this video review, and I fully agree, Herschel’s is the best.

I'm glad you showed this because I visited two deli's spot's in Milwaukee Jake's bro there sandwich's are little as hell and the price $15.00& up no joke the other was Mc Bobs same thing but they do give a bag of chip's with your sandwich.
The best corned beef at reasonable prices in the mil are the place on 17th and walnut and the corned beef hut on 76th off of appleton. Both places charge less than$9 . With chips or fries and a drink and a pickle.
Love redding market. There's a Amish diner stand there that makes a banging hot open turkey. With the donuts stand right across for the best donuts ever

I was just at the terminal Sunday! I went to Dienner BBQ Chicken spot behind the Amish Eat Place. The smoked chicken is to die for! Try it! I'm gonna get me a sandwich from Hershels next time. Thank you for your great reviews all over this city.

I went to pa last year this market is lit. They got the Amish donut place. So many good places. That one spot the mint lemonade I forget the name it’s like a Greek place I think. Check out the other market there’s a taco place there that’s slamming. It’s famous too forgot the name it’s newer as well

Try famous 4th street deli. It’s about a block south of south street. I haven’t been there in years but they have an excellent hot pastrami sandwich and matzo ball soup.
