A small South Philly sandwich shop that makes excellent hoagie sandwiches!

- In this episode I took a visit to Lil Nick's Deli located on 1311 W. Moyamensing ave in South Philly. Big thanks to Big Nick for directing me to the right direction to try his son's sandwich shop which is located right next to each other. A small sandwich shop big fresh flavor. I was recommended to get the italian hoagie and the chicken cutlet special. The italian hoagie was about as fresh of an italian hoagie I've ever had. Freshly cut cold cuts, crumbled on cheese, oil and vinegar. A really fresh italian experience. Next was the sandwich that blew my mind which is the chicken cutlet special. It had made to order chicken cutlets, thinly sliced prosciutto, crumbled cheese, fresh mozzarella, onions and balsamic drizzled on at the end. It was love at first bite from the bread to the combination meats. An easy game changing hoagie that everyone needs to try! I highly recommend this place anyday of the week.

Been a loyal customer of Nick's for ever. Best family business. Great cold cuts or as we say in South Philly "lunch meat" and best sandwiches in the city.

I'm from Harrisburg, PA, but I still end up making the 2+ hr trips to check out these locations. I live in SP and my go to spot was Ricci's. I just tried Nick's for the first time yesterday and that Italian was everything!! Gotta love the little mom and pop spots!!

I knew I was in trouble when I left Philly 22 years ago, I went to get a hoagie from a local place and asked for oil and vinegar, they looked at me like I was an alien from outer space. Then a cheesesteak place opened at the local mall, I asked for sauce and they offered me ketchup.
