    You look lovely. This is what we ladies from the 80s called the no make-up , make-up look. I never got into the heavy stuff. I don't like the heavy liners. Cream shadows are where it's at, friends. I use cream make-up now. My skin is dryer, so powders just set into wrinkles. Love this.

    • @countrygirl7402

      @diane kolosky I use Jerome Alexander spray foundation. The kit comes with a primer and brush for application. It was about $45. It's not cheap but it lasts a long time because you use so little of it. I use Julep eyeshadow crème sticks. They run about $10 each. They are lovely. They blend so well. I use Physicians Formlua butter bronzer for any contouring I do. It's not heavy and smells so good. I also have a Physicians formula eyeliner that is a barely there color. You can't mess it up if you try, but it still lines the eye and make your eye look open. It comes in a 3 piece set. It in Nude. The brown is impossible to mess up. I have fair skin and my daughter has very dark skin like my dad. And she uses it too. I just pick whatever mascara I like at the moment. My brows I use Guide cosmetics brow gel. I bought it and I'll never use another one. It again isn't cheap but my oh my is it great.

      I remember the no makeup, makeup look! I’ll assume we’re in the same age range (grumble grumble 😅), and I’ve always heard that those of us with “mature skin” shouldn’t ever use cream eyeshadows (or any other cream makeup products) so I never bothered to try any. I have dry skin around my eyes too, and have had the same problem with powder setting into those gd wrinkles. I am super excited to see your advice, and as soon as I send this comment I’m going to bop on over to Amazon and see what I can see! Thank you so much for your comment and wish me luck! ⭐️❤️

    I've never enjoyed hard, defined lines around the eyes. I use a soft dark brown which I draw onto the lash line. I then follow it up with a soft gold drawn right on top, smudging as I go. Works a charm every single time. Definition and a little smokiness without a visible line.

    Shows exactly what I do, but I use a cream shadow stick with a pinker hew to give a youthful flush. Don't take the eyeliner all the way across on the lower lashline on the bottom, and not into the corner of the eye on the top as this will close your eye too much if you are older. Use a touch of a light beige or gold in the corner of the eye to brighten your eye. The Avon cream sticks are fab for this if used with nyx eye primer

      I’m the same way. I’m 41 this month and honestly my face and skin look better without. The most I’ll wear is a bb cream and a dot of concealer under eye and I have a bunch of julep cream to powder eyeshadow sticks so just pick light shimmer for middle and inner and a grayish or darker for outer corner and bottom eyeliner use my finger to blend together do mascara and a lipgloss. Done. Takes about 5 minutes looks fantastic. And I have pores and mild rosacea. I love my forties bc it’s probably the only decade we will ever have where we don’t NEED makeup. My skin looks fantastic without foundation. So I’ll use the elf halo glow instead. Just put a couple dots on cheeks and spread it with fingers. Seriously. Makeup is ridiculously easy for us girls from the 80’s right now. The most frustrating part though is finding which products work for you. Even though u only use a few our bodies changed the day we turned 40 so we all go out and find new crap that works. Took me an entire year before I realized I look great without foundation. So that was hundreds wasted in new foundations lol. But once u find the few things that work. Doing ur makeup is easy. You couldn’t pay me enough to live through my 20-30’s again.

    I did this today, without the crease color but I'm trying. I hardly ever wear makeup and I'm not great putting it on but I'm learning.

    I would also like to know what brand the eye shadow palette is from? I could not find that listed anywhere. And shadow brushes you use. Thank you!

    Would you please list the products and directions? I do like what I see! I have rarely worn makeup since my classroom had to go on zoom (now back in the classroom) and I also became the caretaker for my dad (93). There is not time to shop, and I have no idea what to order. I’m 58, and makeup needs are changing.

      Coal not kohl?

    • @JW-rw8fq
      @JW-rw8fq ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Trish McEvoy is the brand she wrote in the description but the reviews on this product are not good, especially for contact wearers.
      I read the description thoroughly and it does not say anywhere that it is a “kohl”pencil. The description says it is a gel pencil.

    I use liner only and of course the mascara...I'm more focused on your eyebrows...love the arch.your already pretty you actually don't need anything on your face except moisturizer and sunscreen.
