I’m 60 too! I was a runner until my 50’s. Even had my data 42 and ran with stroller. Sadly, I have severe spinal stenosis, scoliosis & 4 screws in my neck. Walking like Groucho Marx my brother kids. He’s 70 & still running. So having tenitis i can sympathize. My mom had that. I still stay active but it’s difficult ❤l😢 I try to make the best of my day and love my family..,…God Bless you and love your videos;) love how you looked in the black dress 🥰😍

At age 56…my eyelids just seem crepey when I try to do any kind of eyeliner ! This helps A LOT! And the tape is always a “look saver” ! Thanks!

I started wearing a winged eye at age 15 when I started wearing makeup and it's still my go to look (everyday and special occasions) today at 56. I will be buried with a fabulous winged eye looked. Thanks, Risa, as always. You're a master.

Risa, thank you for your very smart tutorials and your comments on wearing shimmer, glitter, etc. over 40, 50! I am just over 60 and wear both (with very hooded lids)! Matte colors make me look older, but shimmer looks bright and beautiful on me and I’ll never give it up!

Yeah; you don't know about the changes until you get there. I'm 60 now, and I'm just starting to struggle with my hair, makeup, skin. I like to follow and get tips from women who are my age; I rarely watch younger makeup or fashion channels now, they are mostly irrelevant. Glad you're 50 now!

I had many Aha’ moments watching your hooded tutorial.My hooded eyes have progressively worsened over time!I find the pencil brush & patting placement is SO much easier.Plus I find a powder wing,less stark on my eyes than a gel. So grateful for you sharing these invaluable tips! 🙏🏻x

Risa, I can always count on your advise. I'm 65 and I really need some liner to bring my eyes out. My biggest problem is using liner/shadow to do my wing because it doesn't stay on as long as liquid liner. I'm tired of using liquid liner, but I find myself doing it in order for it to stay. I do a tightline also. Is there something that will stay on longer? Thank you for always teaching us.

I really applaud you for the way you opened this video with an apology. It once again speaks to your credibility. I do so wish this technique would work for me, but unfortunately my upper hood extends below the level of my lower lashline, and the hood itself is quite puffy (fatty?). I've had to simply accept that a wing just won't work for my eye shape, and it will remain that way unless I get an upper eye bleph.

Thank you Risa! You make it look so easy and it’s just elegant looking on you. I try on my 54 yo hooded eyes and look like the doll off the movie Anabelle.😂😂😂 I am going to practice. I try and get frustrated and say to heck with it.. these hooded lids suck! Then you come in with a tutorial like this and I think “ maybe” this simpleton can achieve this look. Thank you again!

Thanks! I'm so frustrated with my 54 y/o hooded eyes because they are uneven in their hoodedness and it takes forever to apply makeup. I have stopped purchasing eyeshadow palettes of any kind because I just don't use powdered shadow that often anymore. I like the Victoria Beckham shadow sticks (the ONLY brand of shadow stick that doesn't feel sticky and lasts on my oily lids) for quick, everyday looks, because powder shadows just take forever now. I will try this technique with my powder shadows when I want to dress up, though.

I'm legally blind and eventually will go fully...i can no longer see what I am doing with my make up and wish someone like you could come do up my face every day! People often mistake me for being in my 30s so I feel fortunate...but when I know I look tired...i know my eyes are hooded...Lord knows sometimes what I look like when I DO apply eye makeup. Or ANY makeup. Iys frustrating but your videos are helping me to at least "aim" better. Haha Thank you ❤❤❤

Ugg, I can completely relate! I highly recommend trying masking tape instead of scotch! Masking tape is far more gentle and easy to tear. I have also always had hooded eyes but had a perfect routine but now at 52... things are getting more difficult (especially w Eyeliner). My eyeliner used to last all day but not anymore. I'm also having issues with my skin getting more dry vs combination. It's like I have to learn what works all over again! Thank you, much love to everyone! ❤️
I’m in my mid sixties and this was SO helpful! I have a double “crease” in my crease! I can “hide it” with darker shadow but it’s more noticeable to me.

This is a great trick which I´ve been using since you posted your previous video on this. As we get older things get more challenging, but the results are worth it. I no longer use liquid or pencil eyeliner. Eye shadow and tiny brushes give us, mature women, a softer look. I hope I die with my full makeup on,

That Rephr brush is amazing, I have 3 of them. Great tutorial. I have started using the Victoria Beckham Kajal liners with that brush to do a soft wing. This shadow technique is great will try tomorrow.
