Living in a country where your culture is stolen from you adheres to this ideal of selfishness and separation. If you know who you are and the history of your ancestors African Americans wouldn't shun this way of living. It's not about you it's about the people. There are overwhelming amounts of broken homes in black communities because we're so selfish. This is not the way God intended us to procreate and raise children. Yes, those who have not learned this way of living through tradition, will find it hard to adapt or even be able to wrap their minds around the idea. You have to first think of what God calls you to do on your journey. This is not about the flesh it's about saving our culture because honestly this unstructured European lifestyle is not made for us to thrive. I can get deeper into this but the point is you have to go back to move forward. Learn your history.
