You forgot to mention the old roidz rage as a side effect. I had a friend open admitting he took steroids and, although being a very good chap liked and respected by everyone, when he raged out he just took it straight on everyone, even older people. He _clicked_ like he was having some sort of a PTSD fit. He never hurt anyone but, in his own words, when this happens just let me rant until I _run out of fuel._

I thought about roids in college when seeing a teammate warm up with 405 on bench for 12. I struggled to get 385 once. He blew out his knee just coming out of his stance in a game, wasn’t touched. Turns out his ligaments were utterly shot because he was using such rapid weight increases and joints didn’t build up with his muscles. In a month I was out lifting him when he quit the juice to rehab his knee. I decided it wasn’t worth the risk and am glad I didn’t give in.

The strain on your organs and lingering effects of steriod and sarms cannot be understated.
You'd force your whole hormone system out of whack causing skin, organ and mental challenge's aswell and your balls will shrink from abusing that shit.

Age doesn't automatically deteriorate your health. It's the cumulation of factors that harm your health over time that you were either unaware or neglected. Most people become more sedentary as they age. Our food in society is not optiminal for long term consumption. It's now more processed than ever in any history of humanity. There are many foods you eat from resturants that are all processed with nutrients diminished or contain harmful elements that harm you.
Over time the accumulation is what leads to weaker heart amd nervous system, weaker endocrine system, and lack of nutrients. The last obstacle is the adoption of technology. Most people suffer from poor sleep due to blue light harming circadian ryhtme.
On top of this, if you take steroids. You are doing even more damage as your bodies natural endogenous production becomes completely dependant on the exogenous hormones. You will develop poor habits that are not healthy and not realize it because your hormones are not controlled by normal everyday factors. They are controlled by the drugs you take. Simply put. You will not be in tune with yourself. You cannot measure your habits with your hormones to develop healthy habits.

Keep telling yourself age isn’t biological and it’s in people’s changed behavior. I hope you manage to “stay active” and avoid aging like you claim so you can keep the car running for 500 years no problem! By your logic it should be no problem! Just stay active! Happy running 🏃

I think people don't know how steroids work, if you take them for a short period of time therefore not stopping your own production you can build a massive amount of muscle and keep it all if you had high testosterone before. From my experience I think this is how guys like alex eubank developed. Maintaining the extra fluid from the drugs and the new muscle tissue are two different things. A lot of these guys are much bigger than they could get without, but by no means does it mean they are staying on something. That tissue stays if you do it right, its cumulative. Makes sense because some maintain nice hairlines as well.

As a female- one thing I ALWAYS wanted was abs. I worked out with a personal trainer (both male and female) and dietician for almost 5 years in my early 20s. Finally, I came to the realization that my body shape is just not meant for exposed abs. My female trainer tried to offer me steroids many times to help me achieve my goal. I almost said yes a few times because I thought I wouldn’t be happy if I didn’t reach my goal.
Now, in my early 30s I am active, fit, do aerial sports and still don’t have noticeable definition in my stomach, but I know I’m strong in my core and that’s what counts.
I hate seeing men and women, especially young men and women get into steroids. But I also understand the appeal. Just hope if I can prevent even one person from getting started, I’ll be happy. I feel good in my body and my body is the only one I get. It’s important to take care of it.

Just like people who want to loose weight fast it is not sustainable. The lesson you learn through your journey are just as important as the results themselves. If you want more details feel free to ask specifics but that’s the general idea I’ve seen and heard. CACs only show calcification and can be misleading. The real culprit is narrowing of the arteries, and it's possible to have this without calcification (via soft or fibrous plaques). For this, a better test is the carotid ultrasound or coronary angiography. It's great when a CAC is a clean read, but don't get too comfortable with the idea it's the full picture (no pun intended).

thanks for reminding me on how dangerous steroids really are. i’ve genuinely been tempted to secretly take them down the line because i want to be massive, but i now realize i’ve been too caught up on IG fitness influencer posts. the people i really should stick to for inspiration are the big natty men at the gym that i usually go to lol

I've alwasy said to friends who ask if I would take steroids, "If they didn't kill you or at least drasticly shorten your life, hell yes!". The problem with steroids is they work really well and people are too short sighted to think about or look into the consequences.

Let's be clear: Building up a lot of muscle, excessive training and extreme diets in itself can be very harmful, with roids or without. At a certain point it doesn't matter if a look was achieved "naturally" or with roids. I'm just reacting to comments glorifying "nattys" or talking about "you just didn't do precautions". When the end result is extreme there is no way to get there in a healthy way. Nothing in the world of biology is without trade-offs.

On the other side. I am on TRT. Getting blood work every 3 months, taking harmless natural aromatize inhibitor, big quantity of fish oil for cholesterol, antioxidant for better liver function and a good balanced diet. Making annual organ scans and can always lower the Testosterone dose to prevent permanent damage or to manage side effects.

I wonder why golden era bodybuilders are still around now. My uncle used steroids for 20 years and he's been off for over 20years. No trt. He's 79 and still works out 3 days a week. He told me sometimes he would do 500mg a week of test.

Steroids more than anything are another complication to one’s already complex life. They can be a real hassle.

    • @enhancedgiulio7051
      @enhancedgiulio7051 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

True. It’s not simply eat train sleep inject repeat. If you want to take gear properly you need to be ontop of harm reduction/mitigation/eradication biomarker levels, and organ imaging depending on how long you’ve been using. If someone already has a lot on their pallet as far as busy life i would not advise lol. Although i work cyber security fulltime and still compete so i think it also comes down to managing time and truly having a passion. You’ll find a way for sure if you truly want it i believe 👍

@@enhancedgiulio7051 well said. I run a business, property portfolio, married, child hobbies friends and social life. Also all the crap that comes with managing a home and chair of the apartment committee.
I lift daily though, at home in the garage and am healthy and strong at 54. But of if I took roids it would consume me.
Even if I just did testosterone.
There’s say 2 injections say per week.
      Then I gotta get AI’s
      Regular blood tests
      Change up the diet
      Train differently, not natty training
      Doctors 🥼
So you can see that’s just on a TRT type thing.
Anyway all good. Not against drugs, I think all drugs except fentanyl and heroin should be legal, it’s just not for me.
