For that price, it better be completely calibrated from the factory. I do think that the laser system is the best on the market. Your spot on with what the price point should be. It shouldnt be a full grand over the Bosch axial glide. Great review!

Totally agree about the laser and yes I can see it being more but not 1k more for sure. I am happy I got it though if nothing more than for the work holding lol

Nice video. I really don’t want to be negative so please take this as constructive criticism, but I was hoping you would go over pros and cons, or comparing it to past saws you have used. Not just a review of “these are the kapex features”. Hope that is helpful.

No worries at all. I read and pay attention to every single comment somebody leaves and try to respond to everyone as well LOL. I honestly thought about that but I did not think I could do that Justice because honestly I have used the same saw up until now for a very long time and I don't think a lot of people have the rigid saw that I had.

Thanks for the review. The kapex is probably one of the most polarizing tools for me. I don't really need it, nor would it improve things in my shop a whole lot, and I really couldn't see myself dropping that kind of cash on a miter saw, but I could see it one of those things making it into my shop eventually anyway. I imagine that'll change once I upgrade my $99 hitachi to either the delta cruzer or bosch glide though. The kapex certainly has a nice set of features.

Yes it does and like I said in the video I think it is definitely worth more money than others but I do think that they miss the price point on the saw I honestly believe that it should come in around a thousand to 1100

Thanks! Great review. I really appreciate the time you put into this. Your explanations are very good. Seems like the saw does have a lot of the features I want in a miter saw, but the price point is above my limit for now.

If I had the money, I’d get it for sure. I have a domino and a CT 26. I’ve used a lot of my friends stuff, and he had all the important stuff and some stuff I’d never buy, but there is something about just having their stuff in your hand or shop
