Dio at his worst - and still better than most singers of today at their best. Considering his condition at the time, it's a miracle he had any voice left at all. Awesome work by Tony and Geezer, as always.
@@anthonybakker2567 If you pitch it up a whole step, he's exactly on-pitch with the original recording. Total pro, that guy. Sorely missed but forever appreciated.
What a band, what spirit and presence.... and most of all, TRUE metal, with no posing no nonsense, wearing normal clothes, just having fun!!! I was born in the wrong era!
No question about that really. Ronnie is the greatest metal singer of all time. In all thr bands he was in. For Sabbath, they were all really good. Just Ozzy was the most popular. But always great stuff!

Meus Deus do céu!!! O que é esse Black Sabbath com o Dio!!! Fenomenal-Fantástico-Sensacional!!! Coisa de outro mundo real-mente!!! Só agradecimentos por existir esta banda!!!
Tony kinda muddles his way through the solos in this one 2:52 "Dammit...did anyone notice?" Nice to see him laugh it off later. He was on fire during this set.
Haha… Yeah … He’s too cool to let that bother him… I’m wondering what year this was…. Dio was an incredible top notch vocalist , writer, and performer… F the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame!
Considering dio was older than God when he sang this, and was battling cancer it sounded actually pretty good. Actually it sounded really good, obviously not as good when he was younger, but still great.
I certainly hear another guitar IDK if it is keyboards mimicking, they did hire keyboardist at this time, so who knows, plus it sounds so downtuned normally a half step this sounds c# ish just MO
Yes, it's Scott Warren from Dio's band doing double duty. Also, Geoff Nicholls used to play some phantom guitar for Sabbath way back when, but was only credited for keyboards...
I LOVE Ronnie...Sabbath...etc. But where in the world did the 2nd guitar come from? It was clearly overdubbed. Especially in the solo can you hear full rhythm guitar which shouldn't exist. I think that stinks! It's not how they sounded..and I prefer just the three of them. Otherwise...brilliant as always.
Yeah!! How bout that??? I'd rather hear them as they were: a three piece metal monster without any recorded help! They really let us down on this one!! Fuck that prerecorded shit!! Cream didn't do that, Sabbath shouldn't either!!
Yes, he does sound out of breath. Dio was always a bit pompous but that was part of his persona. After all, the Italian word dio does translate to God. He was nearly 70 and slowly dying of cancer during this period...
Ronnie deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Too bad they couldn't do that while he was still alive! :(
It was sacrilege that he wasn’t inducted with Black Sabbath!🤬
No doubt. Great voice
F the Rock N Roll Hall of fame, Dio is in its own METAL HEAVEN HALL of fame only a few can enter.
I’ve been privileged in my life to have seen this Rock God TWICE- Lakeland FL and Ybor City Fl. Ronnie, you are eternal👍
I saw the Heaven+Hell Tour when I was 15 and was the best sabbath Tour ever for me!!!!!
The time Ronnie James Dio fronted Black Sabbath was no doubt "THE BEST" Black Sabbath line up of all time. R.I.P Mr. Ronald James Padavona.
You got that right brother!!!!!
Saw this tour in 82... Best Fcking Concert in my 54 years. R.I.P. Ronnie Padavona 🤘🏼🤘🏼
The opening power chords are monumental. Thanks Ronnie and the guys. You are true legends.
Dio at his worst - and still better than most singers of today at their best. Considering his condition at the time, it's a miracle he had any voice left at all. Awesome work by Tony and Geezer, as always.
I was thinking the same thing, "Jeez, does Ronnie sound off". Still better than Ozzy on his best day, though.

Высшая лига!!! Вершина эволюции ROCK'а!!!
Can't imagine anybody else that could still belt it out of the ball park like Dio did here being in pain from cancer and all....RIP Ronnie James Dio
Thank you for calling this BLACK SABBATH!
awww i tear up when i see this--what an awesome man he was!
Saw them play this on the Mob Rules tour in 1982 at the LA Forum. They were fucking awesome. RIP Ronnie

Ronnie früher oder später kommen wir alle zu dir .❤

Ronnie. James. Dio. The version of the band that introduced me to Sabbath. RIP legend.
los años pasan para todos....pero fue y sera la voz por excelencia del metal!!! larga vida.....
you can't beat a classic rock song - sometimes you don't even need the lyrics!
I’ll be dead 💀 and I will remember Black Sabbath ❤
Very cool. DIO voice sounds great in this performance. RIP Ronnie. Also Iommi is the best guitarist in the world.

LEGENDARY
Agree wholeheartedly, and i also much prefer the Tony Martin era Sabbath better than anything Ozzy ever did.
Ozzy: All aboard
Ronnie some 5 months before passing (Cancer)?

Fucking awesome! Saw this tour and the Mob rules tour..

Jesus fucking Christ this is just glorious
WOW !!!
Dio ETERNO
JAKARRTAAA WAITINGGGG FORR YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU,..BRRROOOOOOOOOOO..........
Did they have a 5th man behind the curtain playing rhythm guitar? It’s very clear during the solo’s.
I certainly hear another guitar IDK if it is keyboards mimicking, they did hire keyboardist at this time, so who knows, plus it sounds so downtuned normally a half step this sounds c# ish just MO
Scott Warren guitar and keyboards live for Heaven and Hell off stage. @@danielbasetone1467
Pissed that fella bet got up for laugh b vocals
R.I.P. Ronny.
absolut! Ronnie är bäst R I P.
🎸
Sabbath at its best with Dio!!!!!!!
RJD 2008 (as Heaven & Hell) Iommi's greatest guitar solo?
30 July 2009
is someone playing the rhythm part off stage while Tony's soloing? Or is that a track? There's a guitar audible in there.
Foda demais salve eterno DIO...
Rest in peace Ronnie James Dio.
Is that another guitarist at 2:28 beside the keyboards during the guitar break? Would explain the depth of sound.
Yes, it's Scott Warren from Dio's band doing double duty. Also, Geoff Nicholls used to play some phantom guitar for Sabbath way back when, but was only credited for keyboards...
Black Sabbath - Dio Μεγαλείο
Sounds like Ronnie is having a stroke
🤘🇨🇱
When and where was that shot?
Was that show after Dio had been diagnosed with cancer?
✝️🙏🤘🦍
いいかもしんない。
Tony cannaloni on geetar

@@dexterdunn5198It's Geoff Nichols off stage. It's a live giutar.
Curious as to who is playing the rhythm guitar when Tony is playing the solos? Maybe a tape?
Looper pedal??
Another viewer responded to me that it was the late and great keyboardist Geoff Nicholls on rhythm guitar.
On that last tour I think it was Scott warren who also did keys
May be they were using pre-recorded sound.
i hear it, too. sound is way too big for just one guitar and bass.
Ronnie’s timing seems off.
and battling cancer. he woulda sounded ALOT better if he wasn't.
Metal Horns forever DIO!!!!
Dio sounds awful in this although his heart is clearly in it.
Black Sabbath? more like Heaven and Hell
sure, it is heaven and hell.. but we all know this is really Black Sabbath with Dio.
Dio sounds out of breath and full of himself-what a poser
Iommi is God
Yes, he does sound out of breath. Dio was always a bit pompous but that was part of his persona. After all, the Italian word dio does translate to God. He was nearly 70 and slowly dying of cancer during this period...
the original is much higher octave played!!!!!This version sounds awfullll
Pra a idade dele, ta bom pra caralho
Sorry, but I don't think that Heaven and Hell ore Mob Rules are better than Master of Reality or Paranoid...
RJD LIVES ON
