Tony's riffs make me want to punch a hole through a brick wall. I've always loved that he lays down the most demonic and heaviest riffs, and he just looks like he's reading the newspaper.
Poor Ronnie. I still miss him even so many years after his passing. He will always be one of, if not THE greatest rock singer who ever lived. I never tire of hearing him and I never will.
Impossible to exaggerate how amazingly brilliant this is. All the more impressive to think that Dio and the lads were playing at this level so late in their careers.
A criminally underappreciated song. I submit that there has never been a heavier chord played than the one that Tony Iommi plays at minute 2:33 in this song.
Great, great, song! Everything about it is outstanding! Dio was arguably the greatest vocalist of t his genre. I'm 70 years old, and I have seen Black Sabbath live multiple times. This performance takes me back in time and melts away the years, leaving me floating in a realm of timelessness. It was a privilege to be a small part of this.
Dio And Iommi are without question The Greatest Vocalist / Guitarist tandem in the History of Metal. They created Magic together, Unforgettable Thunder....Bow Down !
Took my wife to see Sabbath back then she was my girlfriend at the time. She was 😱 scared. I said this ain’t know stupid Mariah Carey concert. This is Sabbath!!!
dayelgrdm - I was blessed as well. Saw him/them at Tinley Park, south side of Chicago (HOME!!). The venue is just a couple miles from home - CHICAGO HEIGHTS. AND MY BELOVED MOTÖRHEAD PERFORMED RIGHT BEFORE THEM. MAY LEMMY AND DIO REST IN PEACE. AND PLEASE DEAR GOD, RESTORE MR IOMMI'S HEALTH. FUCK CANCER. I'm a hard man but I'm crying my eyes out. Music and art is my life. Too many heroes, good people, gone. Lemmy, Dio, Peter Steele (Type O Negative). Bowie, and how many more have gone. R.I.P. - Jason MOTÖRHEAD McVey.
Dio never needed to record albums, listening to him live is just perfect wow. ..I hope you bump into my little angel girl in heaven rest in peace both, I love you baby.
As much as I liked the old classic Black Sabbath lineup, my personal opinion is that Ozzy's two albums with Randy Rhoads and Sabbath's two albums with Ronnie Dio are the four best heavy metal albums of all time.
Gawdamm, that riff still gives me goosebumps after all these years. So grateful I got to see this lineup (twice). The soundtrack to my early teens. RIP RJD.
Always been a huge Dio fan, but watching these vids i cant help but see how Iomi is incredible. He came up with so many amazing riffs and solos, but more than that he really invented the Sabbath sound and its one of the best rock/metal sounds ever.
Sabbath was dead for a long time before Dio showed up...nobody was expecting 2 amazing albums but here you go🤷one of my favorite Dio Sabbath songs right here🤘
Ok. That was fucking.. AMAZING. God damn...better than studio version. What chemistry. Look at Geezer and Tony go...ffs. Ronnie as always...perfect. God I wish I was there.
the voice of heavy metal! in spite of age, and ill health (till cancer cruelly took him away) - that voice, that phrasing that passion, that emotion - burnt bright and blazing
This song is incredibly haunting. Between Tony's haunting riffs and Ronnie's enchanting vocals, it makes for a beautiful listening expierience . I feel like the intro could be used in a funeral/death scene of a movie. Iommi definitely can create some haunting things that make you feel contemplative of every thing. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘Keep Rocking in Heaven Ronnie, along with Freddie Mercury and up there with Randy Rhoads on guitar.
Heaven & Hell were an English-American heavy metal band active from 2006 to 2010, a collaboration featuring Black Sabbath founder members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler along with former Black Sabbath members Vinny Appice and Ronnie James Dio! These four Black Sabbath members recorded & toured together from 1980 to 1982, again from 1991 to 1992. After they reunited, they recorded three new songs for the 2007 compilation album, Black Sabbath: The Dio Years. Then they went on a 2007-2008 tour. The band disbanded but everyone went one with their separate projects. On 28 April 2009, the band released the Studio album The Devil You May Know, and then they went on a promotional tour from 5 May to 29 August 2010. The tour’s final show in Alantic City, New Jersey USA would prove to be Dio’s final public performance. In November 2009, Dio was diagnosed with stomach canacer. But the tour supporting Iron Maiden was cancelled on 4 May due to Dio’s ill health. Dio died of this illness on 16 May 2010 at 7:45 AM (CDT), at 67 years old. Rock in Peace Ronnie James Dio. And I am sure he is! Because Metal never dies! His live performance with Tony Iommi is so great! It rocks! Dio’s vocals are so awesome! Listen to that voice rocking Heaven & Hell “Falling off the Edge of The World.” He is surely the King of Metal. 🤘🏻-Moderator-🤘🏻Rock on! Yeahhhh!
Hey the Mob Rules and this song kicks ass more than any other song a planet ever and will ever be. I went to this concert. What an honor and overwhelming an unspeakable moment in my life! Thank you Ronnie, Geezer, Toni and Vinnie!
This is so much more "raw" than the one on the Radio City Music Hall DVD. It feels a lot more like a jam session, not a feeling one often gets from a band like this one. Very cool.
This had to have been the greatest concert ever!!! They elevated a song i didn't think was possible to take any higher. Tony fuckin nails the riffs with that much more flare to them and that solo was metal as fuck. Ronnie kills the entire show none of them missing a beat.
One of the baddest concerts ever. Ronnie is up there but he still rocks harder than ever. And Tony Iommi is arguably the best ever rocker. And also Geezer thumped it on the bass...like a rhythm guitarrist. Awesome!
All those bald or gray heads bobbing ... like mine lol. Saw Ozzy’s last tour with Sabbath and then Heaven and Hell in ‘81 (and many times since). Favorite band for sure.
The development of rock music can be compared to ripples on the water - the further, the shallower. And these guys just were the very stone that fell into the water.
The older I get the more I appreciate DIO Sabbath. Mob Rules is a hugely underrated album.
Mob rules was their BEST LP . Ronnie's absolute peak 🍺
Like the good wine...😉
Better and better forever!
🤘🏼☺️
This song paticular is definitely underrated
@@ludedude5228Dehumanizer намного лучше.
@@marie_andreeplanteactually wine does peak and eventually dies/spoils.
Ronnie, man. Always a gentleman.
The monstrous riff, the rumbling bass, the thunderous drums and the epic vocals of Dio. One of the greatest songs from Sabbath IMO
AND the amazing lead solo.
I completely agree, and also, some of RJD's best lyrics.
Tony's riffs make me want to punch a hole through a brick wall. I've always loved that he lays down the most demonic and heaviest riffs, and he just looks like he's reading the newspaper.
Hahaha...like reading the newspaper , he's the best!
Tony is the best! Love the readi g the newspaper churning out consistently
Yea dude looks like he's playing jazz improv, while churning out absolutely earth shattering ungodly heaviness.
Tony is a part of Stonehenge 🙂🙂 The best!!!
...reading a newspaper. That made me laugh.
Best and most underrated on mob rules
Paul Zuniga Agreed...this has always been way up there for me. Huge song
I love the album, but REALLY LOVE this song!!!
@@dougbrowne9890 my favorite song, but heaven and hell best album 🤘🤘
This one and Sign of the Southern Cross are "S-tier" songs from the album - both are incredibly good!
Poor Ronnie. I still miss him even so many years after his passing. He will always be one of, if not THE greatest rock singer who ever lived. I never tire of hearing him and I never will.
I'm so lucky to have seen Dio live with these guys in 2007. Phenomenal singer at the age he was at. Putting some younger singers to shame.
Me too
Agreed
A perfect storm of metal
Dio seemed like such a wonderful person. He always seemed so grateful for his craft and his fans.
both himn lemmy was the nicest dudes
@Mark Rigsby when you're dio you can do that! Screw vivian Campbell
@Neil Armstrong even dio himself said he" hopes vivian fucking dies" you smell go take a shower
@Neil Armstrong dumbass bitch
@@Greenmanalishe1 who's Vivian Campbell
Ronnie performed right till the end. The man loved what he did and the fans more than anything.
Impossible to exaggerate how amazingly brilliant this is. All the more impressive to think that Dio and the lads were playing at this level so late in their careers.
Right on brother, almost unbelievable!
Absolutely!
Absolutely incredible indeed
One of the greatest bands of all time.
I absolutely agree 💯
Rock on 🤘
2023 and still listening to this amazing song and band. 4 decades and counting
A criminally underappreciated song. I submit that there has never been a heavier chord played than the one that Tony Iommi plays at minute 2:33 in this song.
Don’t forget about I.
very true mate his like on the mob rule album voodoo the the lot
So true… Iommi was …and will 4ever remain the master….of the power chord
E flat 5th
Tony " The Riff Master " Iommi

I was able to see the band twice in Australia, the first time 1980 my ears rang for 72 hours.Afterwards I bought earplugs to gigs.
This song is spectacular, the performance is 10/10....rest in power Ronnie.
Greatest voice in history
Just love the way Geezer Butler attacks his base guitar
Absolute beast
Iommi is an absolute beast.
Dio foreverrrrrrrr
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
One of the best song of Black Sabbath..
Dio And Iommi are without question The Greatest Vocalist / Guitarist tandem in the History of Metal. They created Magic together, Unforgettable Thunder....Bow Down !
"Silver linings can disappear -but they'll always shine" These words of Ronnies hold truth about himself. Rest well my friend.
Mob rules. The first heavy album I ever heard.
3 minutes just to get to the main riff - and it was worth it!
It builds up and you can't wait until you hit the main riff :)
Awesome song!
It gets me every time
Took my wife to see Sabbath back then she was my girlfriend at the time.
She was 😱 scared.
I said this ain’t know stupid Mariah Carey concert. This is Sabbath!!!
I usually don't like listening to live songs unless I'm there for them. But Dio sounds just as good live as the studio recording. Metal goat!!
Ronnie was a gracious entertainer in every way
Forever Ronie james Dio
got to see the black and blue tour! back in the 80's! what a show!
Geez how tight can a band be??? Flawless though raw
Apparently I watched this already lol. Came to say nonstop goosebumps!
I’m privileged for seeing live this wonderful band, they are truly the tightest version of Black Sabbath. R.I.P. Ronnie, you are the best.
i was blessed, saw you before you passed away....

A shame the Dio version of Sabbath didn’t make more music together.
I was always more of a DIO guy with Sabbath than with Ozzy. Just the sound I prefer.
As much as I liked the old classic Black Sabbath lineup, my personal opinion is that Ozzy's two albums with Randy Rhoads and Sabbath's two albums with Ronnie Dio are the four best heavy metal albums of all time.
Sharon Osbourne!
Dio, that voice.

Absolut favourite! Everything is so apocalyptically perfect in this, kick-ass, song! Rest in peace Dio!

Goosebumps every time! That wall of sound sent metal shock waves through me!
I'm so fortunate I seen this tour. So epic! Miss you Ronnie! RIP
One of the Masters Best Riffs, and Dio's first "Never" on the Album version is perfect.

Sorry that I contradict, this is one of the 10 Top HM Song's in HM.
And one of the best from Heaven and Hell aka Black Sabbath
RIP Mr Dio
Underrated Iommi Riff!
that slow doom riff in the speedy layered riff is musical genius that would make Beethoven stand up and shout!

This is so much more "raw" than the one on the Radio City Music Hall DVD. It feels a lot more like a jam session, not a feeling one often gets from a band like this one. Very cool.
I just can't turn this shit up loud enough. The most perfect metal song done so perfectly. Breathtakingly Legendary

One of the baddest concerts ever. Ronnie is up there but he still rocks harder than ever. And Tony Iommi is arguably the best ever rocker. And also Geezer thumped it on the bass...like a rhythm guitarrist. Awesome!
