@@fingerprint5511 from what a lot of people who knew him at the time have said, when he was sober, he was a warm, caring, funny guy. When he was on drugs, he was an absolute nightmare to deal with, and as time wore on, his periods of sobriety grew less and less frequent. Kind of sad to wonder what might have happened if he hadn't discovered cocaine.
Black Sabbath feels marijuana should be legal in 1973. Fast forward to 2019. It is legal in many places. They were ahead of their time.

They got the name from a movie theatre across the road from their rehearsal room, 'Black Sabbath' was a movie made by the Hammer House of Horror company and it was playing at the time, they saw the name and it stuck, probably better than 'Earth' which was the bands earlier name.
