    I originally had a pair of HD599's and needed a headset for when I got my Series X, so I picked up the H6 Pro open back because it was stupidly expensive to import the PC38x to the UK.
    They are really nice, even as a glasses wearer after a couple of days of wearing them they were fine.

    Recently subscribed and picked up the H6 Pro based on your recommendation. Can't wait to get them in on Friday.
    Very entertaining videos by the way. I've gone through a couple so far while working and it helps the work day go by fast.

    H6Pro open sound real nice, but then many headphones sound great... maybe more important: they are super comfortable, previously I couldn't ever wear headphones for more than 40 minutes, my ears got irritated and i'd often get swollen both on the outer ears but also inside the ear canal, H6Pro is the first headphones that I have ever tried that i can wear for a 6 hour gaming binge without problems... also I wear glasses and they don't push on the glasses or the ears, which many headphones do...
    so happy i found these and i even got them cheap on sale on a swedish online computer store (inet), and on top of that because it was an "opened package", they took off 25% of the price on top of the already reduced price for it having been returned, but everything looked pristine i would never have been able to tell if they'd sold me the same one as new...
    Also the green-gold-black ones actually look tasteful and not like some trashy "gamer" product, I take them on when i ride the tram to work... most headsets sold as "gaming headsets" aren't something I would want to wear in public...

    I am having a hard time believing the H6 pro has better imaging then the hd599. I own the H6 pro and HD560s. Try to put any eq on the H6 pro and I lose most of the imaging and H6 pro has no bass. The HD 560s blows away the H6 pro from the water and I am a COD/warzone player

      hd599 is really dark which makes imaging in games not that easy even though the pure stats in the lab r prob pretty good. game ones/pc37x r def tuned way better for gaming, little bit more highs and not that dark overall. i hope you dont talk about the closed back h6 pros cause these fkcers have almost too much bass. they really remind me of beyer tuning just in a closed back format. the overall package of the h6 pro closed back is prob one of the best when it comes to closed back gaming headsets only beaten by game ones/pc37x which r open back. and the hd560s though... yeah they have amazing imaging and they r clear af but if these things dont fkcn destroy your ears in the long run your blessed with ears of iron. maybe its just me but they have a really gnarly peak in the highs which make them unbearable

      @District.24  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No need. I can tell you right now that the H6Pro smokes the HD 58X Jubilee. The former is a headset and the latter is a headphones - so no mic. I own and use both of them, and I have always struggled to get the HD 58X to sound good even with amps and modifications, although it sounds a lot better with the mod I did. I did a video on it, so look for that. The one thing I do like about the HD 58X over the H6Pro is that the former has a really nice cable with dual connections.

      Yeah, it's all very subject. Another subscribe told me that the H6PRO is tight for him over the PC38X. Where as for me, it's the opposite. All any of us can do is try out the headset which we are interested in. If we're not happy send it back before the return policy expires. Amazon has an excellent return policy.

    Okay I bought a HEL 2e and a h6pro open, could you do a video on computer setup? Like should I buy Dolby Atmos?

    • @District.24
      @District.24  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Buying Dolby Atmos is really a decision that only you should make. The H6Pro doesn't require an AMP as it is only 28 ohms and 117 dB SPL. I use the Hel 2, because I want to use headphones with impedance greater than 150 ohms on a PS5, and the Hel 2 uses UAC v1, which is what the PS5 uses. I don't use it on my PC, but if I wanted to or needed to I have that option.

    • @District.24
      @District.24  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the type of games you like to play, but more importantly, it depends on your environment. If you are in a noisy environment you would most likely benefit from a closed-back headset, but if you're not, then you could enjoy the benefits of an open-back.

    H6PRO is better than Astro A40+MixampTR for music and gaming? what is the main difference between h6pro closed and open pls?

    • @District.24
      @District.24  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my opinion, the H6Pro is better. I have used the Astro A40 (4th generation and version 2 sound), although the sound signature on the version 2 is better than the version 1, it is note enough to beat the H6Pro. The A40 is heavier, lacks proper detents, has no flip-to-mute mike, has less comfortable pads, and still requires the MixAmp Pro to really shine.
      A closed-back headset or headphones leaks little to no noise from the speakers, which allows you to play in a quiet environment or an environment with noisy people that you want to drown out - because it doesn't let much sound in. A open-back headset or headphones allows some leaking of sound, which makes you feel like you are playing on a broader sound stage, and allows sound in so you can play to your hearts content, and still monitor your sleeping baby in the room next to yours. :)
