Rach, oh Rach, I do not like,
Sprinkles on my cake or pie!
Not on cookies, not on bread,
Not on ice cream-no, I said!
I don’t like sprinkles here or there, I don’t like sprinkles anywhere! "No thanks," I say, "they’re not for me!
    Just leave my dessert sprinkle-free!"

    Rachel, for the microwave cinnamon roll;
You said that OP used Almond flour.
Almond flour is not a 1:1 for wheat flour. Almond flour is not absorbant, & most other flour is - That's why it is too dry.
Try it with 1, maybe 2 Tbsp of flour.

I have a different quick recipe for the fudge you would be able to try as well, which is just as quick, 1 can condensed milk, 300g dark chocolate and 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract, melt chocolate and condensed milk in microwave, in 30 sec intervals, mixing in between until fully melted and combined add the extract, stir well. Place in a pan and pop in the fridge for a few hours until set cut up and enjoy. It's a christmas favourite with my family.

I have a different version of the peppers: Make a mixture with ricotta, eggs, grated cheese (I like to use Gruyère, but I'm sure most hard cheeses would work), parsley and season to taste. Fill up the peppers that you've cut in half. Top it with bread crumbs and put a drizzle of olive oil on top. Then you can bake it in the oven and serve with a side dish of your choice.
Mixing the ricotta with eggs, cheese and herbs gives it more depth and the bread crumbs gives it a nice texture.

For the microwave cinnamon bun you said that the lady used 3 tablespoons of almond flour. Then you used 3 tablespoons of regular flour. Usually in recipes you need to use more almond flour than regular flour because almond flour isn't as dry as regular flour. So maybe it wasn't that the timing was off but maybe you needed less flour.

In the grand scheme of things I’m not a sprinkle hater but they don’t ever truly add anything except teeth carnage. I think if you wanted crunch, maybe nuts or chocolate chips.
Also- nut butters are interchangeable and that includes sun butter. So I know a lot of times you like to stick to the recipe but I too am allergic to peanuts and almonds and use sunbutter as a 1:1 sub. That way I don’t have to miss out on ALL the deliciousness. @hollymiranda0826 It’s actually something in the almond that I’m allergic to, not nuts themselves. I also am allergic to avocado and broccoli - so go figure. And Peanuts are a legume, so they’re in a separate category. I can eat most other nuts fortunately (and coconuts).
And you are right, Sunbutter is a seedbutter, I often forget bc you buy it by the nut butters. However, it’s still a 1:1 to sub. I’ve used it as a replacement for years. And it’s pretty gosh darn tasty. Appreciate the informative reply!

@ That’s interesting, it’s specifically almonds. Well I’m glad you can enjoy other nuts (which most are tree nuts) 👍🏼 avocados & broccoli are so random to be allergic to! I must confess, avocados are yum. However, you’re not really missing out on much when it comes to broccoli, haha

@ Oh, & I love me some Sunbutter!!! Very tasty & a great substitute for nut butters.

@@hollymiranda0826sunbutter is a saving grace. I used to be able to eat a lot of the foods I’m now allergic too, so idk what’s worse. Never having had it or having had it and then having to eat the sub? But at least there is a sub! 💕💕 Bodies are weird yo.

Not packing your flour when measuring might make your recipes not so dry. Lightly spooning it in and then leveling with a knife will give you a much more accurate measurement.

Facts! You should never pack flour, only brown sugar.

To be fair, when im baking and/or cooking, I pull all (or most of) the ingredients and things I need before starting. So, to me, you having ingredients next to you all ready isn't cheating the time amount. If you're going all over grabbing ingredients and supplies, it's going to take longer.

You can definitely substitute the almond butter with SunButter. You can have any product that has fat in it

Sorry but I completely agree with Christopher on this one. Sprinkles ruin everything they touch. And fudge should always be smooth. Unless they have a nut of some sort in them.... ❤
