I love playing with flowers.... I don't care for them myself but, I like putting them in my grands journals (they love flowers)! The combinations are endless and it's just so much fun to do! Have a wonderful safe and blessed week! Peace & Blessings!

Lol, I am wondering whether that video stuck in your hear so much because of the dreadful mess I got in!!! Haha. That said, I loved the results of the flowers, and have used them often x
I did this same thing about a year ago, took every fabric, silk, paper flower I had and layered them etc. You can get some wonderful looking flowers for sure. I made probably 100 or more of them and only have a few left now. It was so much fun making them.

I love this idea and all the creative ways you decorated the flowers up.
I have been learning the same thing, I have to keep using up what I have in order to keep my craft area tidy! I also really like being able to grab a pre-made item for a journal I am working on, so it's win-win! :)
It's a constant battle isn't it Amy? Within just a short time things accumulate so much and then it really does become almost impossible to get it back under control again! Lol. Yes, definitely feels wonderful to have some things on hand when making your journals x
I love making flowers. And I cut out a ton of paper flkwer shapes on my new Cricut I got for Christmas. I just picked up some old leis and can't wait to combine hose flowers with my paper flowers. I loved the number tag center idea, so thanks for sharing it! Take care...now off to watch all the videos I missed over the holidays.

I LOVE making flowers! I have the floral tools on order from Amazon....from one of your recent flower tutorials. Can't wait for them to get here! For centers, I use buttons, pearls, shiny gems, and stickles. I have silk flowers that I didn't know what to do with....now I do! Your flowers are all so beautiful!

Good reminder to use and alter our flowers. I brushed coffee on some and let air dry and they turned out great -- another way to vintage them up (and less messy than the alcohol inks!).
Fantastic to coffee dye a bunch of flowers, and yes far less messy :-) x
Of course, coffee can't achieve some of the wonderful colours that inks provide.

I may be fairly new to JJ, but I'm an old hand at doing this for other crafting projects. Love the look of stacked flowers. An idea for centers is to use yarn. .make a French knot in the center using a thick yarn. The soft fuzzy yarn makes a great center. TFS Tina. 😊

It’s the one thing I have very few of - just petals of fabric flowers. I was kit sorting into popper wallets. December was a print like a loony month lol. Have a lovely Monday. I have quite a lot of flowers that I have bought over the years, and often forgotten I even had them! Lol. Great idea to sort kits into popper wallets, it definitely makes it easier to find certain things. I smiled at your comment about the kids loving it downstairs, it sounds like a happy household :-) . Yes, our schools are now closed too until after the February half term following the briefing yesterday. My daughter is gutted, it's her birthday this week and she was really looking forward to taking some sweets in for everyone and having the class sing Happy Birthday. I have promised that I will try and be as much fun as her best friend for the day.............that involves playing lots of hide and seek, lol. Stay safe and sane x

I'm glad I watched your videos in this order from overwhelmed to totally winning you have some great organising skills setting in. Making ur flowers usable before it's in an overwhelming state is a great idea. I also am a massive flower lover reasom for me wanting a die cutting machine 😂🌸🌺. For the poinsettia flower shape you don't like, have you tried rounding the tip or using fabric shears to give them a different shape & look? Since you are not prone to using them anyway, why not play around with changing them to see if you can find a way to like them. Same for the really big ones you keep putting bag in your stash.

It seems that we haven't been using alot of flowers in our journals. I still use my gold painted flowers on decorated paperclips. I buy silk flowers at thrift stores and separate the petals. Good thing I have plenty because I started the new year trying not to buy supplies. We will see how long that lasts. ❤❤❤

I personally love buttons on flowers - I tried some brads but I don't like the plain gold (got a hundred of those things :-( )
Recently saw a metal paint called patina on channel Puchy Tats during the end of a recent haul video she demos this. Cool stuff!
Yes, buttons are super cute aren't they? I also saw a video using Patina, and bought some a while back, it is fantastic stuff, and would work great on your brads x
I say if you don't like the flower with the pointy petals, just get rid of it. Bin it or donate it. Crafting is supposed to be fun and when you try to make yourself use something you don't like it takes the fun out 🙂😜

Hi Tina, Gosh what’s wrong with me, I have only 2 pkgs. of tiny silk flowers 🌸. Ok I just remembered I have paper flowers also. I like your ideas on building them up, but I don’t know how you keep from screaming on camera when that hot glue gets on your finger tips! Ouch.
Lol, I think my fingers are toughened up! It does hurt at times though. Have fun with your flowers x
