    Love the hot glue idea for those who don’t sew. I was making fabric ones while watching you today. Love the paper ones. Love the tidy up my bedroom by leaving it on the window sill lol. Better than shoving it in the bottom of the wardrobe. Have a fab day xxxx

      The hot glue is really nice and quick 🙃. I love fabric ruffles of any sort. The windowsill.......... it will get to the point where her room is in darkness because the pile gets so big and covers the actual window! Lol. I did have a more thorough look after the video and there was a fair amount of stuff chucked into her wardrobe rather than hung in there that I hadn’t spotted! Still I would prefer either of those tidying methods to having it literally all over the floor 🤭🙃. Hope you’ve had a lovely week x

I used printed digi papers that I lightly coffee-dyed on the back, so the ruffle looks good from the back if u use it on a page edge or as a tag-topper. Hi Tina,
    Absolutely love these, they turn out beautifully!
    LOVED your tracing paper one, will most definitely be making some up lol!
    We've been watching Cobra Kai on Netflix, it's pretty good and brings back my teenage years as the series sort off follows on from the Karate Kid 80's(was a teenager in the 80's with the big hair lol) movies but you don't need to see the movies to watch the series! Great 80's music, the fight scenes are a little far fetched and a little bit predictable but some good belly laughs, hubby and I really enjoyed it, the kids thought it was pretty cool and then the jokes came rolling in about how we are still stuck in the 80's and still bogans lol!
    Enjoy the rest of your week! Take Care,
    Kylie X

    there is a series on netflix called "hell on wheels" and it is amazing, at one time it was a series on Television and I think there is about 6 seasons or more of it. I can warn you though after the first episode you will be hooked and not get a thing accomplished, I think you can look up the Movie Trailer to get an idea about it but my husband and I binge watched it and then we were so sad that it was over

    You are such a really clever digital artist. How did you learn? My sister in law always talked about her daughter as “having a horizontal” clothes storage system, ie the floor. Said niece is now married to someone almost OCD tidiness young man!

      Oh thank you so much Sara, I just really love playing around with digitals, it's as fun as crafting to me. Yep, your niece sounds exactly like my daughter! Maybe her husband keeps her tidy now? Lol x

    I have been making some of these lately, never thought about doing them in wide strips like this and cutting apart, I will try that. I have glued some and it works ok, but yet it is a bit fiddly. I found you had to glue your fold on the front and the back.

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just thought folding as a large piece would be a lot quicker. I think tearing them apart though before sewing is definitely a better effect. I think you’re right about having to glue both sides x

    Tina I use double sided tape along the back of my paper ruffles. I am not friends with my sewing machine. Perhaps cutting with decorative scissors would also work.

    I haven't tried this, but am guessing you could use that very narrow strip and glue it on the back of the ruffles in the center to hold it all together if you don't have a sewing machine and don't want to staple or glue each fold

    What county do you live in, as all around us had snow, and we didn’t ,so yes very cold, it’s always a bit warmer when it snows. Tina is there any chance you will be making another lovely dark green paper download again, but not a spooky one. If you like scary, true story The Serpent , it was more scary for me as I was in Bangkok at that time when I was 19. I prefer the individual ones

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I live in Chichester, West Sussex, I think there were only a couple of spots that didn’t get snow. Where are you? I will see what I can come up with using some greens, you might like my Time Traveller kit, that also has lots of green. I will have to look for the Serpent, I do like things like that. Yes the individual ones are my favourite too, they’re just a bit more time consuming x

I can’t stomach the blood and gore in the movies and shows any more. So my husband watches and I burry my self on my phone and watch TH-cam 😃. Hugs 🤗
