Glad to see you working on my tractor, I'm feeling lucky 😅 to be fair I have promised it to my daughter Elyza if I was lucky enough to have any of my tickets drawn!
Great watch again Mucker as always those insert clips had us in stitches lol. I think whoever's lucky enough to win the little Dexter would probably appreciate the mechanics being done over the cosmetic jobs. Going to get some more tickets as just love this little tractor also love the dog's so it's a win whatever. It's great what you are doing for the collies 😊
"in a few weeks there will be a new proud owner. OK well there will be a new owner anyway" spit my coffee out on that one. Thanks for the laugh. Flash over to see what it looks like painted. Thank You
Yeah, give it a quick blow over with the Fordson blue…. Make her feel proud to be running and ready to get out there! Looking forward to the bramble battle!
paint grill white w the wheels white … looking good fella wen u used the starter leaver took me right back to wen i was 17 doing rowing on wittering airfield
It is a good idea to put some mink oil on the leather diaphragms and yes mink oil is made from minks. Never use vegetable or mineral oils as they harden the leather.
If it is going to be a surprise for someone, they may not have anywhere to store it, so a coat of paint would keep it decent before they can get busy on it. Good to see the progress you are making.
That Dexta is starting really well, as I guess it should do given the work you have put in on it. Looking forward to seeing the Weatherill loader WIS. As far as paint I think as you have new tin in primer, a waft of blue would be good.
I love the originality of it, that's one of the reasons I bought the raffle tickets with the chance of winning it. It will go very nicely with my original condition diesel major. They are only original once.
She's a real beauty sounds great looks spot on 👍 with the bikes and cars I've worked on I like to keep the used look so a wipe over with an oily rag will do 👌 wow that weatherill loading shovel will be a great project will be an epic adventure getting to it 🤔 great post cheers 🍻
Great vid, what a nice result - bye bye party gas 😀 A quick coat of paint would be really nice and allow the new owner to enjoy almost immediately if they wanted - work or show 👍
Well melod, as the Dexta is now, it looks like a work in progress so it looks fine. If, you only paint the nose cone, bonnet and tank and not the mudguards then it will look half a job. I say leave up to the new owner!
Good to see the Dexta coming through Cosby Rehab. I would give it a little flash over. shame to lose want (presumably) original paint work is left, but a flash of colour would improve the red oxide look!
Evening mucka. Personally I like the patina I’d just keep going with the mechanicals and let the new owner decide patina or shinny. Great video as usual
Thanks for the great video lord muck! Learn a lot from your videos I never new before, very handy for me as I’m starting out restoring things, currently done 3 Massey 35’s 1 JCB Loadall and almost finished a David Brown 1412, mostly do cosmetic but might be able to ease into doing some more internal work with your help, appreciate it!
1.21 gigawatts!!! Starts sweet as a nut the little dexta👌bit of imperial blue won't hurt it. and ooooohhhhh hedgerow find🤩bet it's got a birdsnest! Great stuff coming up M'lod 💪 Cheers, Mike
I would just red oxide the panels top show keeps me going especially puppy animals are the only thing pulling me through my anxiety and depression I got it due to people
If you start painting I know you only said tin work but where do you stop was going to take your advice and listen to this as a podcast cleaning out one of the hen sheds but tearing up and down the shed on the avant having had a couple of hours sleep is a recipe for Desaster so I watched it hitting the hay
Looking forward to the loading shovel. There's going to be some cutting! I've found an old DB (top of the cab is the only bit exposed) that I'm going to do the same with Saturday 👍. Noticed how much faster your dexta starter is. Must bite the bullet and sort mine.
I enjoyed tonight’s video. I’m not mechanically, but interested in seeing how things work. If i was to win the tractor, after the mechanical work you’ve put in I love to do the paint work myself. Keep up the good work👍👍
starts better than mine but then i havent done anything to it yet , i dont have a special holder i just keep a tin of sniff in its tool box ,it doesnt need hardly any , i have a allis chalmer d272 high clearance though its on the wrong rear wheels with same engine its the same
Great entertainment, good luck to the winner. I did not enter as if I won I would have to live wherever I decided to keep it.. so I have been told. Looking forward to seeing the loading shovel uncovered.
That engine sounds sweet. I used to run two of those, they were both well and truly dead. They'd fire up one cylinder at a time in summer. I think the heater plug in these was supposed to be an ignitor pump with a hand primer under the fuel tank next to where you were stood. I never got them working properly on the ones I drove. But they would ignite wd40 if used in lieu of easy start. Using a gas torch with the nozzle removed to produce a long orange flame was pretty effective, but it did lob flames out the exhaust when cranking.
@@LordMuck ours were both a bit damp around the push button but never dripped on the floor. Most of the leaks were from them blowing oil out of the breather due to lack of compression. To start without the flame in winter you must have a pretty sweet engine. Who ever wins this will be really lucky.
We had a Weatherall shovel on the family's sand and gravel pit back in the late 70s early 80s. It will be great to see that one running. How about just doing an oil sealing spray job on the Dexters panels? 👍
I reckon if it were yours to keep, do what you like. As it is, moving it on? Hard to say. Maybe leave as is, next person can make it into what they want... maybe with one silver & one orange grill. Just to keep everyone happy!
I'd say, match the nose cone, with the light Blue ( thats already there) 👌
Yes I think it would be nice to see it painted. 🙂 That was another great video.
Great video mucker.good job on that dexta I think you should paint it all.I have entered the competition so I'm keeping my fingers crossed😃👍

Thanks and Good Luck !
Nice video. Looking forward to the next few videos. It wouldn't harm giving it a quick flash over with the blue
"in a few weeks there will be a new proud owner. OK well there will be a new owner anyway" spit my coffee out on that one. Thanks for the laugh. Flash over to see what it looks like painted. Thank You
Top place is CJ spares, very helpful. Leave the panels, keep bolting the goodies on it 👌
Yeah, give it a quick blow over with the Fordson blue…. Make her feel proud to be running and ready to get out there! Looking forward to the bramble battle!
Slowly slowly she is getting better, great work!
I vote for a splash of the ol blue. 😎 🖌 She's running great! 👍
paint grill white w the wheels white … looking good fella wen u used the starter leaver took me right back to wen i was 17 doing rowing on wittering airfield
Looking forward to having that little Dexter in the shed 🫣
Yeah I would paint it so she looks tidy
Another good vid I would leave the paint for the new owner
I like the patina mux. Leave it as it is. Squirt it in gas oil and wipe it over with an oily cloth
Good video , probably leave the paint for the new owner to do. It's a nice project.
It is a good idea to put some mink oil on the leather diaphragms and yes mink oil is made from minks. Never use vegetable or mineral oils as they harden the leather.
I use sheep grease.
Can you get that there sheep’s grease in Halford’s ? Just asking for a friend me lord
Witham Oils. The product is Prolan and comes in various grades. It's brilliant.
Leave it for the winner Kurt.
Leave the paintjob, fix some mechanical stuff🤗
My neighbours would love me to have a dexter on the driveway 😂😂😂
what a sweet sounding tractor she is. I would leave as is for the new owner to do what they wish my lord Muck....
Paint it 👍🏻👍🏻
Great video mucker!! the dexta starts and runs really well, I think leave it as it is looks like a good honest tractor
Paint and film the process. Be great to see.
The little Dexta is coming on great. I think a quick paint. Thanks for the video 👍
.
I'm going with a bit of paint, so no doubt as to what kind of tractor is! Thanks for the video, all the best and God bless to all.
If it is going to be a surprise for someone, they may not have anywhere to store it, so a coat of paint would keep it decent before they can get busy on it. Good to see the progress you are making.
Another vote for painting 👍 excited to see whats in store with the old loading shovel you found 😊
Mate , your a great bloke 👍 ! What your doing is very healthy escapism .
That Dexta is starting really well, as I guess it should do given the work you have put in on it. Looking forward to seeing the Weatherill loader WIS. As far as paint I think as you have new tin in primer, a waft of blue would be good.
Absolutely - a quick flash over! Great job so far!
A lick of paint, wouldn't go a miss.
Another interesting video Mucker learnt to plough on dexta with2 furrow Ransomes plough,,👍🚜
Nice to see Larry Enticer again, it's been a while.
The Dexta sounds sweet. Would be nice to see some new paint on it.
Yes I think it should be painted 😊
Hi mucker give it some paint 👍
Thanks for your show, great entertainment
Hello mucker!! Put the mechanical part tiptop and leave the tin work for the winner! That is a nice looking tractor!!
I love the originality of it, that's one of the reasons I bought the raffle tickets with the chance of winning it.
It will go very nicely with my original condition diesel major.
They are only original once.
Doctor Muck just Successfully Completed the Dexter Rehabilitation of Ether Addiction. No end to your Talents, Sir Muck. Keep on Mucking.
Nice work, from what I remember we had a super dexta back in the day and it could move down the road at a fair rate, well it felt like it.👍
She's a real beauty sounds great looks spot on 👍 with the bikes and cars I've worked on I like to keep the used look so a wipe over with an oily rag will do 👌 wow that weatherill loading shovel will be a great project will be an epic adventure getting to it 🤔 great post cheers 🍻
I’d leave as it is it’s original like that 👍
Great upload Kurt, leave it and let someone else paint it, l imagine thell sand blast it as well.
Excellent video Lord Muck :) on Dexter tractor got all fix up with new Glow Plug and Throotle diaphram fix plus battery too!

Little lick of paint would not go a miss, make it pop that bit more. Top work
Give her a coat of pint , great as always 👍 😀
I think a lick of paint is good idea me Lord
Hi Mucker just got round to watching your video! Probably just give the nose cone a paint and leave the rest to whoever wins the old girl. Fenland Rob
Great vid, what a nice result - bye bye party gas 😀 A quick coat of paint would be really nice and allow the new owner to enjoy almost immediately if they wanted - work or show 👍
Make sure the mechanical bits are done and it is reliable and if time allows, then paint it.
Well melod, as the Dexta is now, it looks like a work in progress so it looks fine.
If, you only paint the nose cone, bonnet and tank and not the mudguards then it will look half a job.
I say leave up to the new owner!
I prefer it in its working clothes but paint it as it would make a great video.
3rd raffle prize should be a can of easy start !
Nice one Mucker would look great with a quick spray over👌🏻
Leave it, it shows the history of its life Cracking little tractor the dexta I learned to drive on a super dexta when I was 8
A quick freshen up for the new owner, hopefully me, how about black n white like a Collie 😂
Good to see the Dexta coming through Cosby Rehab.

Give it a quick Splash & Dash.
1.21 gigawatts!!! Starts sweet as a nut the little dexta👌bit of imperial blue won't hurt it. and ooooohhhhh hedgerow find🤩bet it's got a birdsnest!
Great stuff coming up M'lod 💪
Cheers, Mike
rattle can rebuild for sure. hope it comes out of withdraw from the cosby ok. well done. cheers.
Paint 👍, Deservers a spruce up that does.
I would just red oxide the panels top show keeps me going especially puppy animals are the only thing pulling me through my anxiety and depression I got it due to people
I would simply get it mechanically sound with the bits and bobbles and leave the paint (or not to paint) up to the winner.
Great video, maybe a bit of a touch up with paint here & there ????😃😃😃

Leave it for the lucky winner to decide 😊. Looking for to seeing you uncover that loader 😊. DO WELL 👌🏽

You can choose the £1000 cash alternative or the 175 piece socket set if you come second
@@LordMuck I'm in.😬
that dog is getting rather camera happy! 🤣
A splash of paint
Dunno about painting the Dexta but the Major looks great in its working cloths. Sorry for not been any help..👍

Using a gas torch with the nozzle removed to produce a long orange flame was pretty effective, but it did lob flames out the exhaust when cranking.
Most had that system removed as it just leaked fuel constantly. Some were even removed at the dealers before delivery. This one has been removed too.

Great video. Enjoyed watching 👍🏼
Paint it blue thought u was going to throw the party juice away when it started and course we want to see u start that beast in the ruff
Leave it as it is. Let the winner further the restoration.
Mucker super D AND MAJOR TOPCLASSICS

Hi Lord Muck, Another great vlog No Paint please, Just a wipe over will a oily rag will do the trick I think 👍🏻🇬🇧
Hi Mucker, I am hoping to win the Dexta. If I do 🤞, I can't pick it for a couple of years, so paint all round and redo everything on it. 👍👍.
Yes paint.
Yeah give it a quick once over with the blue stuff. Probably worth doing the fenders too?
