about beating the same games over, for me its like...you spend so much time practicing, memorizing and getting good at a game, then when you beat it its over. its fun to go back in and beat it again and totally master the game. beat it using less continues,lives etc, beating it faster. its fun playing through difficult games and totally owning them.
TOP TIP! You can defeat enemies by jumping on their heads. The trick is to double-jump over them, but remembering to NOT land directly on them. An arc, vs a sharp angle, if that makes sense. Try it out.

I love both this and Returns for Genesis I was so into these games back in the day. This one felt so solid and methodically Batman. Plus that music. Returns was gritty/creepy like the film. Plus I loved the utility belt option.
Arkahm Origins is as good as City imo, Knight kinda falls behind but still cool. My major complain about Arkham Knight is that some missions force you to use the Batmobile because apparently Rocksteady knew it was not going to be as fast (or fun) as moving around with the grappling hook and gliding.

It's unique when compared to Yoshi/Yoshi's Cookie/Tetris/Dr. Mario because the "story mode" actually has unique boss battles at like every 10th level(you also collect coins at the ends of the levels to get extra lives, there are a variety of colors to match, and there are a variety of enemies that all require different strategies to tackle).
Mike mentioned the Toy Biz Batman action figures. My mom went to Toys R Us everyday and looked for those for our Christmas that year. She finally lucked out and went in one day where they had opened shipping boxes of them out for people to pick through. She grabbed two of the Batman and Joker each for my brother and I. Years later I asked her why two of each? She said because my brother always acted like if he lost a gun or weapon for the toy then the whole toy was worthless, so she bought us each a spare. Crazy part is I found out later one of the most valuable of those figures is Bob the Goon because no one bought him, hence he is harder to find.
Ha, the Axis Chemical level music kind of sounds like a mix between NES Gremlins 2's stage 3 (Clamp Center) music and parts of Castlevania 3's Beginning. But mostly Gremlins 2.
I Got the nes version. Was thinking of getting Genesis version too, to go with it. But after seeing this. I'll pass, and just stick with the nes version thank you.
The Batmobile was absolutely implemented horribly in Arkham Knight. Should have been nothing more then a means of transportation for those who wanted to use it, and maybe a couple specific missions where it had to be used. As is it's just way too much. All of the Riddler race tracks or whatever the hell they were are a joke, and an even bigger joke was fighting Deathstroke in a tank. The Batmobile totally kills that game's replay value.

My favorite game! I beat it 100 times and i know how to get 99 batarangs in few levels, and if you didn't die through whole game, then you can take those batarangs to every boss, and defeat them in no time!
I dont really like the trailer for the Joker movie. Mostly because to me Joker has always been a really evil basterd, and the trailer makes him look like your supposed to sympathize with him. Like hes some tragic guy that got pushed to far and turned into Joker, by being bullied and having bad parents and dumb stuff like that. I like Dark Knights Joker, where you dont know anything at all about him, and hes just evil for the sake of spreading chaos. You have no idea why. I dont want to watch a movie about one of the most iconic villains, and go, "Aww if people just treated him nicer, he wouldnt be evil."
same, the great thing about the Dark Knight Joker is the deeper meaning in his antics-the purposeless purpose of his crime: to take the most pure and noble person he could find and “bring him down to his level” to prove that we’re all fallen and could all be just like the Joker.
@@pungisotu Don't forget in The Killing Joke there are hints that The Joker is an unreliable narrator when his backstory is told. Still I would not be surprised if the Joker's writers and director took some inspiration from The Killing Joke for the screenplay.
Aye, Carl Barks was an awesome storyteller and I really enjoy the way Don Rosa expanded and built his adventures upon those small snippets of Scrooge's past mentioned in the Barks' originals.

Genesis was better than Snes. The sports games put them over the top. I dont even like real sports, but the video game versions I loved. Dont misunderstand me. I love Nintendo. Nintendo are the best overall at innovation. Sega Genesis was more fun to play and I owned both Genesis/Snes at the same time. Super Metroid was my fav on snes and Robocop vs Terminator for Genesis. Joe Montana sports talk football for Genesis was awesome too.
Hey Mike, have you ever played Spider Man and the X- Men in Arcades Revenge on the SNES? It was made ny LJN. I had it as a kid and it certainly wasn't the easiest game to beat. But I eventually did beat it, a few times actually, and in my opinion it's a decent game.
That might actually be the one and only decent LJN game. I say decent cause I still believe xmen arcade to be the absolute best and thats what should have a got a snes port. Arcades revenge was hard as hell but I did like it. Never beat it though.

Good for two playthroughs as well, thanks to majority of the levels having an option between an easier and harder route (i.e. completely different levels). Edit: uh, you don't look through the manual before playing games you haven't played before? You really should, since quite a lot of games don't have hand-holding tutorials to explain the moves required.
Color scheme was a bit lazy. The mimes wore black and white so they could get away with being mostly black. But the Jokers other goons were all wearing purple jackets in the movie.
ecco the dolphin is a must play... but if u intend to stream it, do the sega CD version, dont even bother with the genesis one... genesis version is impossible. but maybe u like that haha and mike please check out the adventures of batman and robin for the genesis... its kind of a shooter, and a damn hard one too... u gonna love it
