Thank you that is a good explanation. There are two concepts here. 1) Pushing the envelope, and 2) Titration. Pushing the envelope is a bit more aggressive, training the body. Personally, I find this threatening. The titration concept is to be in a place/environment where we feel safe, and then let the body lead the progress. Here the increments are tiny, as you suggested, and as soon as I felt a tinge of "too much" from my body, I settled back into safety. I think we are all different and each of us has to learn the options, and experiment to find what is optional for us.
