@heena Bhatia. Our experience was good. But we had to argue with the seats in sharing car. But overall experience was awesome. We booked whole trip Bew jalpaiguri to new jalpaiguri from a travel agent in Siliguri. In yumthang we received first snowfall on 16th November 2018. It was awesome,alternative to Kashmir. I suggest you to visit this place in mid November for good weather. If you want to know anything about Darjeeling,Sikkim,Puri you can ask me.

Last day i was in Gangtok and visited Natu La. I also had such experience with share taxi driver. Rash driving, rough talking and leaving us somewhere where we all dont know how to get back to our rooms. Writing this from Siliguri rly station at night 2.45 am. Morning 5 am to catch train to Hasimora to go to Bhutan. Waiting for your pondichery vlog. Happy travelling
We had also faced difficulties during north sikkim trip. We have booked package through a travel agent from MG marg and per person cost rs 4000. The vehicle (bolero)provided to us was in miserable condition. After 3 hrs journey the vehicle broke down and we had to wait for one hr. The hotel provided to us was below average and the food of first day was good but next two days were worst. Again our vehicle broke down on the way to Guru dongmarg lake. The break of the bolero failed. We have to wait there for three hours in 14000ft. Just imagine the situation. All the passengers got breathing issue and head ache. My daughter's oxgeny level gone to 62. However the driver managed to repair the vehicle with the help of other drivers. There was no response from the tour operator. After reaching Mg marg when we went to their office they didn't response to us and sat silently. So my advice will be just book a innova and it will cost around 25k if you really want to explore north Sikkim. Because it is very hectic long journey. In the capacity of 10 seater they add 11 people which is really very difficult.
Please advise how to plan or tailor our family trip (kids n elders included), north sikkim during 3rd week of December which places to avoid. Road block n minus temperature.
I went to zero point , it's covered with snow when I went. Yumthang is very pretty by the river, sit and have chai. Hope u visit west sikkim (pelling, ravangla) & Zuluk in the future.

Dear Heena, I watched your entire Sikkim trip. Ver sorry for your experience. To be honest with you, you made the mistake of booking your trip to north sikkim from a dishonest driver. You should have taken a package from any registered travel office in Gangtok. We did that and we did not face any problems. M G marg mein aisa bahut sara travel office mil jaati hai. And 2019 mein humko 3500 mein poora 3 days 2 nights wala package mila tha. Ha you need to be little alert in these places as there are many dishonest people who may cheat you. But overall, sikkim and its locals are very good people. All the best for future.

All these problems are due to very very late booking and you are in Sikkim around durga puja festival wich is top most peak time of bengali tourist in sikkim. One More thing, sometimes extraordinary cleverness may surprise you like this. No driver can take you to North sikkim from taxi stand directly. You need govt permission for that. That's why the first driver had forwarded your details to travel agents so that you can get your permission for north sikkim. Your current driver is allotted by the the travel agent. So you have given commission to both i. e. 1st driver & travel agent. I am also solo traveler and I follow all of your videos. It helped me in my spiti tour and chandratal lake visit. By the way, My north sikkim tour was fantastic🤘😝🤘, It was also two nights and three days tour which I booked one day advance directly from travel agent in M G Marg. North sikkim is very interior in location. Limited no of good hotels are there. So it's better to avoid during durga puja. I am planning to leh/ladakh trip next year. I had watched your ladakh videos. I hope this will help me also in share taxi booking from leh market.

Sikkim is best. I don't know what was bad with you. Especially Nathula & MG Road & Chardhaam is best
