About Gurudongmar Lake: Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, located at an altitude of 5,425 m (17,800 ft), in Sikkim. It is considered sacred by Buddhists, Sikhs and Hindus. The lake is named after Guru Padmasambhava-also known as Guru Rinpoche-founder of Tibetan Buddhism, who visited in the 8th century.

Heena ji thankyou so much...mai last year he gaya tha Sikkim...aapne poori memories refresh kar di...and you will be shocked to know...i got the same hotel and driver both and faced worst conditions than you...mujhe lanchen aur lachung dono hotels mai electricity nahi mili the...but must say... Sikkim is a best place in hill stations...lots of love 😊
Sikkim tour seems to be incomplete till you visit the holy lake Gurudongmar. Amazing view with snow mountain around the lake. North Sikkim is a very beautiful with numerous waterfall... Wish in your next trip if you visit North Sikkim it won't be that messed up and will have a pleasant experience and can capture more in your lens the beautiful Sikkim. A nice, pleasant vlog. Very beautiful place, amazing views, good photography, nice music and good presentation. N.B. when you take panning shot of nature , pan from right to left or left to right. You can do it twice . Repeated panning of the same scene looks amaeturish. And to reduce the unwanted wind noise you can use good microphone covering ( which is called 'dead cat').

You should visit yuksom and stay in Mama's Kitchen homestay. You will love it as a Solo traveller.
Also a tip as a solo traveller you should avoid tourist places and go to offbeat ones. In sikkim yanggang is a place you should visit. Cheers
