Nicely put up Swati. We visited Sikkim in feb last year and stayed in Darjeeling, Gangtok and Pelling (west Sikkim). The roads as you said were pathetic. We didn’t know abt the roads and had rented a car for self drive and I think that was really a very bad idea. I’d never recommend anyone to rent a car to self drive. But for the roads, Sikkim is such a beautiful place and Would love to visit again.

@@singhrajvindersingh hi, I haven't went their, plan got tailored we went to manali instead. The part I know there is dispute over gurudwara sahib which demolished and disrespected. there has no restriction of wearing a turban in lachung/lachen by any government authorities.
I was there for two years... My father is in army.... My fav place in allover india is sikkim....

Did they charge anything extra for Zero Point or it was included in 4000 per person fare?
They did charge a small amount (Rs 300 pp) and also other people in the jeep need to agree only them they take you.
