- In today's video we review the 3rd Generation stainless steel bracelet MOD for the G-Shock GA-2100 CasiOak model. We look closer at its design features and compare it with Gen1 and Gen2 versions. In this video, i will review both the Silver bracelet and the All Black bracelet for the stealth look. Both of them looks superb!

I didn't know that the hard case on the yellow GA-2110 would look so good in the metal band. If I were to get this band, I will look for the GA-2110 since I feel like not many people would be interested in that color, so it will probably be easier to get compared to the 2100

Personally I think the mod looks awesome and well worth the cash outlay! Your not going to lose much if any shock resistant as it's the module that provides 95% of the protection... black or silver, now that's a tough decision.... I'd have both too as part of my collection! In regard the black option, the coating used is extremely durable. I have the black case and band on a GWB5600 and I'd say it actually holds up better than the silver mod i.e. the DLC coating (if that's what it is) doesn't show scratches!
Either way, both look the ants pants... Enjoy...
Did the black paint reveal silver underneath? I'm thinking of going black bracelet case but my concerns are a single scratch will reveal the underneath. Have you accidentally scratched your black, and what does it look like underneath? Thanks in advance.

d) A “bit” cheaper than an AP, or even a rep AP
My main concern is how much bulk does it add to the watch
@@anonymous-wt9lf The added bulk is negligible with a V3 combined bracelet and case to be honest. It’s still small and light for a G-Shock, especially compared to say, a frogman. The other way to go to keep it light and neat is to go for a V2 case and a wide (22mm or 24mm) leather strap for say, a Panerai, trimmed out to fit the small lugs but keeping the wider strap looks.
Normally I wouldn't look twice at the Yellow GA-2100 but now I want it just for that module. Would look great in the standard black bezel.

Yes, there is 6mm increase. No changes to thickness tho.

Yes, there is another version with Metal bezel and silicone/leather straps. Once its here, i will do a review.

Yes you can, but you need to get the specific rubber strap made for Gen3 bezel.

Yes, you can pair a standard strap with metal bezel. You need to use the version 2 bezel instead.

how does gen 2 fit. i have gen 3 and its kinda big for me as the first 3 links (top and bottom) kinda flare out for me because i have like a 6.5 inch wrist. gen 2 flare the same ?
Gen 2 will fit better as the links are attached to the hardcase of the watch. No flare per say

1. Yes its bigger than your original watch size. My wrist size is 19cm, and it just nicely fits for me.
2. Got it from Aliexpress, not familar with customs to India. I have got some response that Aliexpress currently dont deliver to India. Just drop a message to the seller and see.

There a too many mod kits available between aliexpress, Amazon, eBay and esty. Which “brand” is the better one and which should we stay away from? They all look fairly similar..
i would go with ebay or amazon first; because with ebay you can scrutinize the seller and contact them, including the reviews etc...

Yes you can, but need to buy rubber straps that are meant for it. They r available

Water resistance is not affected. Probably will collect more dirt between the links. Should be easy to cleanup though.

I got it from a local shop. You can get the same via AliExpress/eBay for the same price, maybe even lower. Search GA-2100 bracelet
