Some say, “Federer is no longer GOAT”?
Yet what do these facts say?
      1. 👑 of Wimbledon -Most prestigious 🎾 🏆
      2. 👑of US Open -Biggest 🎾 stage (23k+)
      3. Consecutive 237 weeks No. 1 (4.5 years)
      4. 90%+ won 4 seasons (Big 3 high 95.3%)
      5. Record of 14 slams in 6 years
      6. Most matches and tournaments in Big 3
      7. Greatest positive impact on 🎾
      8. Overcame initial great losing H2H trends: Nadal (RN led on clay 14/16 as RF led on grass 3/4; RN won first 9/15 in 2005-‘13 on their most competitive hard c. then RF won last 5/5 or last 6/7 all courts so ended with 14-10 non-clay H2H, just 4 wins shy of overall tie), Murray (AM won first 6/8 in 2006-‘09, then RF won last 12/17 especially 5/5 H2H in ‘15), Agassi (AA won 3 in ‘98-‘02, then RF won 11), Hewitt (LH won 7/9 in ‘99-‘03, then RF won 16/18), Nalbandian (DN won 6/6 in ‘98-mid ‘03, then Fed won 11/13),
P.S. for Novak fans on Fedjokovic H2H: 👏 to ND earning most total wins playing +10 than the Fedal 40 matches-chasing titles by any legal means in rivalry to tie H2H after 10 years, even edged RF at 1 slam F & 2 slam SFs overcoming match points-if RF won any 2 of these 3 matches, the 15-year H2H ties. Especially 👏 winning the ‘19 slam marathon final of 5 hours edging RF in the 5th set tiebreaker 13-12 (3), when 6 years younger than his 37.9 years-old opponent outperforming + points & + games.
In the Big 3, Fed was pioneer raising 🎾’s level highest with a continuous 4.5 years no. 1, Rafa the most passionate topspin competitor, and Nole the most trophy-persistent Big 3 closer.

People do not understand how crazy Federer is. Taking the ball early is not easy and even harder if you play with an unforgiving racquet as Federer. That means, if you hit the ball anywhere than the center of the racquet string bed, it will be significantly less power and accuracy. Federer does it like it's nothing

A lot of the insane rhythm breaking game of Federer, how he makes everyone struggle and seems to win so easily against lesser players comes from how little time he gives his opponents to try and impose their game on him. Even Nadal couldn't beat him outside clay once Federer had the RF97 with that approach.

    • @keithwatson7434

Grand slam viewership fell sharply this year for Wimbledon and US Open and those viewers are in their late 50s and not getting replenished. The top players are dynamic but physically similar, same style of play, hyper focused and disengaged. Male tennis players are assorted female tennis players as girlfriends. When they score a point they make the same gestures - if they win they fall on the ground in the same way then hit a ball upwards and sideways into the crowd. Endorsements tell their own story - Federer was the only athlete with the mental range to have a bank as a sponsor. For the rest of them it's shoes, racquets and luxury goods and only as they need a bag to put the first two in. Jannik Sinner we're told is Italian so Cheese and coffee. Sponsored by Alfa Romeo as his ginger red hair matches the car he drives to the big tournament

Federer's style of play (attacking, one-handed backhand) doesn't favour being a tempo-style baseline hugger, but he does it so well.

If people wanna know what they see in Carlos it’s that shot right there. It’s available to everyone player, you just have to be confident in your footwork and racket head speed. It’s exactly what Carlos does in normal rallies nowadays when he just takes a ball or two extra early and all of a sudden the point is at a new pace in the rally and 💥 boom your over 😂
