We are bending wood with irons.
曲木の椅子の製作は、とても手間と時間がかかります。
シンプルなデザイン故の技術的な難しさもあります。
材料は、丈夫で仕上がりの美しい堅木をよく乾燥させて使っているので、シビアなホゾ組みを要します。
土から生まれた木々が、こうして家具になり、家々でいろいろな人々と時間を共にします。
そんな時間を想像しながら、私達はひとつひとつ家具を作っています。

Gorgeous chair! I love the joinery. I hope that you do well selling them. I hope to make some chairs someday, as there is no way I could ever justify the expense of beautiful furniture like this. Really is gorgeous though. Building a stool now that I believe will bring me one step closer to feeling confident enough to build a chair.

I have psoriasis pretty bad affecting my hands and have to wear gloves at work, and whenever handling anything. I also need them for grip, as my hands get so dry and scaly that to keep from dropping things I need to hold them so tightly that I crush them. Or drop them.
All that said, beautiful work. I love implementing ideas from others in work I do, and this joinery will be exciting to exciting to try! Thanks!

This an interesting video with unique techniques and very good workmanship and a fine looking chair. I caution anyone doing woodworking about the safety hazards involved with wearing gloves while using power equipment in the woodshop particularly
table saws.jointers , radial arm saws, and lathes.
