I don't think they were advocating for Sabrina bailing-Dan-out so much as putting forth that this same woman showed him no attention ever and didn't back-him-up when he was right (like when he was debating with Erika)@@Favour7153. Nothing's anyone's responsibility when it comes to a show like this, but it all speaks to the person and potential relationship. I think that's the picture the initial commenter to which you're responding meant to paint.

I feel the same way. Plus Bella was the first girl on the show to actually appreciate Dan and vocally express it to him. I found that really genuine of her and liked that someone finally realized that he was one of the best guys there. He was finally getting appreciated and then he messed it up smh.

His reason for fumbling the bag with Bella is so cringe. I mean the signs were there that she liked you. You knew Kyojin ghosted her. Sabrina wouldn't even high five you, Erika rejected you TWICE, Tiffany wasn't interested and Sonja was off limits thanks to Min Jae, and you leave the only person who you had good chemistry with (even if it was for five seconds) to ask someone who wouldn't even high five you. Dan took the biggest L compared to everyone on that show.
seems that the KJ thing really affected Dan. After finding out from bella, i guess he didnt want to pick her and chose someone random.

We don’t know what happened after Bella and Dans date. They don’t show EVERYTHING that happened. He literally said he found out about KJ & Bella and that swayed his decision. I totally understand his pov although I would’ve loved for him to have chose Bella. But he’s probably thinking Bella wasn’t honest with him which she wasn’t
Bella doesn't have to be honest with him when Dan showed no interest in her plus she doesn't owe anyone anything and Bella was truthful to him. She explained how she was ghosted by kj and now you're a in defender cause you think in is innocent. Last time I checked, Bella was the one that wanted to talk to kj, no the other way around.

Great interview eventhough he seemed so nervous. I knew the KJ thing played a role and i dont blame him or think he made a "bad choice", he made the right choice for himself at that moment. Its not right for people to pretend like Dan spent sooooo much more time speaking to Bella than Sabrina. For me, him picking Sabrina didnt come out of the blue because we saw them speak episodes before and he did hint on the date with Bella that he even thought of taking Sabrina on that date. You should never mention another girls name on a date lol. I think if he and Bella had been picked for the RC room, he would have picked her because he would have gotten to know her better. My guess is that he thought Bella was still into KJ. Dont think any decision was bad or better because neither would have led to a relationship anyway

Lol Dan’s pick up line at the end had me laughing so hard. I really like how Dan answered the questions especially about why he didn’t chose Bella. It was a very interesting answer because Dan was open and honest about why he made that decision at that time and I totally respect that. Thank you DKDKTV, Danny, David and Anna.
Respect though??? He is on a dating show in the year 2022/23 and has an issue with someone what, not being a virgin for him? Is his self esteem that low? If someone else likes who you like shouldn't he have stepped up not back? That is why he went for Sabrina in the end. I’m sorry but Sabrina was a sneaky one also, she claimed Dan was her type but treated him the same way Erica treated him. Go back and pay attention to Sabrina and how she moved when it came to Dan. Everyone was shitting on Tiffany but the girl true to who she was and Bella is just the one.
i want to say this about this “race” topic that keeps getting addressed poorly. two things can be true at once. there can be a show with multiple races on it and people can come on the show with racial bias/self hatred as well. i will not accuse any of the men on this show of being racist or not because we only got to see a small portion of them on tv, however, i feel that moving forward if you are going to have these serious discussions, i feel there needs to be a more informed panel of reactors moving forward AT LEAST. there is so much miss information being said because people are scared of the “label” of racism, instead of the actual act. i really hope too that these next contestants are a lot more open to different experiences and people because, from what was shown to us, minjae and chan were the only men really open to dating outside of their race.

Also, just because someone desires you, doesn't mean they respect you. I think a lot of those men used Bella as an experience, but wouldn't pursue her seriously, even though she was the baddest woman there (no disrespect to the rest). They all predominantly pursued the most Korean styled woman seriously. Then the white woman. Then the south east asian woman. Then the light skin black girl. Then the dark skinned black girl.

sorry, but y‘all need to stop d*ck riding and praising your faves like they are gods smh. yes Bella is an amazing woman and absolutely beautiful, but some need to keep in mind that the whole show was only three days in total and there wasn’t a lot of time for any of them to truly bond like that. I was confused and annoyed at some of the contestants choices and comments as well, BUT COME ON IT’S NOT THAT DEEP. at the end of the day it’s mostly a dating show for entertainment purposes and if Dan thought choosing Sabrina was a right decision at that time for him, so be it. I feel like this interview showed that he lowkey regrets not picking Bell at the end but that‘s the consequence of his choice. I think most of them are over this experience and show at this point and I am definitely not surprised that none of the contestants even date at all considering that a lot of them even said that some more or less major things happened when the cameras were off.
I liked Dan from the beginning (those pink pants are 🔥 and I will die on that bridge!) and after this interview, I still do. Hope he's in season 2 and can find someone who really gets him. If not, he'd make an awesome panelist :P

He's goofy in a likeable way
Based on how he's describing things, he was going to choose Bella, but he just got in his head too much about his final decision.
I don't think it's right to constantly be on top of his head about it, though. He didn't choose her, he didn't choose her. It's okay. It's not the end of the world. It probably wasn't even meant to be, and that's okay. He's not a bad person for it.

who cares what they said about KJ and Bella Dan... She made herself clear that she was into you. Even told you this. yet you are confused on something that happened before you and she didn't care about after it was done.
There's 2 things, either Ramyun and Chill didn't show everything in the right order or Dan is messing with us. The Bella story and timeline doesn't make sense. KJ and Bella went in the R&C room before he had his date with Bella. So him saying he was a bit turned off when he learned that something happened between KJ and Bella doesn't make sense. And the fact that he tried to go with Sabrina at the end was so bizarre. Of course it's a fun dating game, nothing should be taken too seriously, but their answers are frustrating in a way . I feel like KJ and Dan have been very misleading. The other guys, especially Changhak seemed more genuine than them.
And again, it's just a dating game; let's not get too serious. My questioning is just in the heat of the moment.
EDIT : After reading a few comments and replies, I understand that he learned the details about Bella and KJ on the last day. So now I understand why he might have changed his mind.
Bella revealed they made out on last day, so it makes sense he didn't know.
I think there are some parts you may have misunderstood (and I misunderstood those same parts lol). He wasn’t turned off by Bella going into the Ramyeon and Chill room obviously but rather by the fact that Bella may have an interest in Kj after he heard about them making out in the room the day before the votes (according to Dan)
Finally, the whole drama between Bella and Kj may have set off some alarms or red flags for Dan who knew that Sabrina was into him. Also, Dan and Bella got a lot of screentime spending time with each other but realistically, they probably spent more time with other people than with each other in the actual show. For us, the show was published on a weekly basis but for them it was only three nights. So within those three nights, he might have found out on the last day what happened with Bella and Kyojun, assumed something else and then rewatched the show and regretted his decision of picking Sabrina.

It is actually very understandable that he did not choose Bella at the end now. Few days to know the person knowing she choose 2 people before and wasn't interested until the end so he preferred to go for the one he talked the most even if it wasn't mend to be!

It is very understandable. Bella and him spent more time speaking to other people than with each other. Their date was literally one day before the decision making. Lets also not forget him mentioning Sabrina on their date. Since we got a week by week basis, it felt like him and Bella spent a lot more time and he knew about the whole kj situation from way early on than he actually probably did on the show (since it was 3 days and I think it was mentioned on the night before the voting or something)
For us, we knew exactly what happened between the two but we don’t know what Kyojun said to Dan behind the scenes, we don’t know what Bella said to Dan and they probably spent a lot of time talking with other people as well so now I feel like it’s completely understandable
The best thing bella would have done was to avoid KJ by all means and focus on those that wanted her. KJ highly disliked her even the aftershow interview proves it.

In the beginning like most of the ladies, Bella showed interest, but soon after realized who he was and she moved on! She felt badly that Kj didn’t say anything after they kissed, and that’s understandable. I like both Bella and Dan - I really thought they could be a good couple. But I think that Dan was not feeling her and that’s okay. Honestly, who wants to be with someone because other people think they should. That wouldn’t have been good for them. None of the couples made it because it wasn’t enough time to know anyone and lust doesn’t equal happy relationship. I do wish they had more time and contestants, expecting people to fall in love within four days is a stretch and I could definitely see going for people you’re used to dating rather than a new type.

this whole thing made me think about something... KJ did some stuff with Bella in the room, kinda "ghosted" her, didn't come clear about stuff and still got accepted, while Bella, who came clear about stuff in the most respectful way possible to both people who were involved with them (aka Tiffany and Dan) didn't get picked. Dan says here 'it was really new to me, etc....' does it mean that if he had known about all of this sooner he wouldn't even consider trying things out with Bella?
Tiffany wasn't even mad at the fact he (KJ) was disrespecful towards someone who got intimate with him, she seemed mad cause he got intimate to someone.... still don't understand the dinamics. I would love to understand all reasons.

My only issue was that he didn't properly communicate this to her prior to the last day, thus leading her on. Viewers are weird. So Dan should have picked Bella all because she was interested on the LAST day? By that logic, why arent people upset that Bella didnt focus on Minjae first since he was interested on the first day?
As sad as it is that Bella didnt get picked, i think this was the best thing Dan could have done for himself. What i have noticed on a lot of these dating shows which include black darkskin women is that there is always IMENSE pressure on the men. If he did pick Bella there would have still been people out there accusing him of being fake. Even worse, viewers would be pushing for an update more than they usually would. If they started a relationship and ended up breaking up for WHATEVER reason, viewers would then start hating Dan even more and STILL insist on race being the reason. There was no winning for Dan the moment he went on that date with Bella because of the amount of pressure a lot of black viewers put on ANY guy that shows an interest in a black girl. This is mainly because of the obsession with feeling represented and making Bellas experience their experience. Same pattern with literally EVERY diverse dating show
If the situation was reversed and Bella was the one to pick someone else instead of Dan, most viewers would not have cared and there wouldnt have been such a uproar. Instead people would have praised her and would have mostly still made Dan the bad guy in that situation

I agree with you until you talked about Bella getting a pass. Bella is still getting dragged for going on dates with 3 of the guys there already. If she had pulled that Dan move, she would be made fun of even more than now so stop making things up. people say it's a race thing, and I disagree for the most part. I just wish Dan didn't give all his attention to Bella on the last two days and actually went after who he really knew he liked for the remainder of the show.
Wrong! Both Dan and Bella wrote letters to each other - Dan, up to the last hour didn’t show any sign that he was upset about Bella in any way. Therefore were left thinking he was gonna chose her over someone who didn’t like him at all. TBH most of us felt so badly for Dan that so many of the girls rejected him in the beginning, so when Bella picked up on what we saw, we were rooting for both of them, more so Dan! We love Bella, but we wanted Dan to catch a break!😂😂😂

2. You are giving Bella too much credit which once again proves my point. Bella was not the first person or only person to pick up on what we saw! in fact her going on a date with Dan or having an interest in Dan has more to do with KJ rejecting her. Its not hard to suddenly see potential in someone else after finding out that the person you like doesnt like you back. It was actually Sabrina who was the first girl to feel bad for Dan and she was also the first to compliment his character and she was the first to actually talk about being interested in him.
3. Most viewers didnt care about Dan being alone, most cared more about KJ not being with Bella. People werent rooting for both of them they were rooting for Bella which is why they quickly changed their attitude towards Dan.

Nah he was just being too nice. He had a nice date with Bella and wanted to balance that out by extending some love to Sabrina, who he probably felt was feeling left out, despite the two of them having no prior chemistry. Big L. i honestly really liked Dan a lot. I really didn't understand why the judges were so harsh on him it honestly felt unnecessary because to me he didn't seem malicious or sneaky or anything. Despite nobody picking him over and over again he always held his head up and didn't complain like others (Erika). Sabrina and Erika really upset me because of their actions towards him. He was a nice guy on the show that was just unlucky and made a bad choice at the end. He deserved better.

Exactly! That is precisely why I liked the idea of him with Bella because she seemed to be the only girl on the show that picked up on his qualities and appreciated him. She told him the exact qualities that she liked about him and didn't shade him throughout the show. I love how genuine Bella is about everything. And that is why she is the fan favorite...because she is real and genuine. Dan became my second favorite because he seemed nice even though he was getting shaded left and right. Plus they both have super fun and bubbly personalities. And they had the best style in my opinion so they looked good together.

How is that an L? It wouldnt have resulted in a relationship. Off the bat, he didn't have to pick Bella. I think people are just confused b/c she's the only one that we saw him actually have some kind of connection with. Even the last night, he was sticking close to her. The KJ thing seems like a bit of a cop out because he was all about Tiffany at the beginning & if he got any play from her, he would have gone further as well. He may have only hung out with Bella toward the end, but he actually hung out with Bella. Sabrina didn't even really try to get chosen for the boat date. I think he had his eye on Sabrina after Tiffany but she really wasn't giving him much play so he hung with Bella who kinda was interested. Ultimately, he went with where his interest always was. Also, he looks nice on this interview.

Even though he’s Asian , Dan is from California, a very diverse state. I never thought Bella’s race was a factor for him. However, I’m still disappointed he didn't choose her for whatever reason.
Just because someone is in a different country that is diverse doesn’t mean that they themselves don’t have prejudiced dating preferences. Have you talk to any of those people? They’re very open about the fact that their family will not accept anyone who is black.

I’ve never seen Ramyun and Chill but have heard abt the whole Dan and Bella incident…and after watching this interview I personally think Dan is a guy who tries to pretend/come off as a gentleman, good, innocent man but is actually a huge player who’s selfish and self-centred…like tbh I didn’t buy any of his excuses for not choosing Bella he’s just a jerk
so I have only just picked this show up and am sad that the funding for season 2 wasn't reached. I am sending to my friends and if you are still collecting for season 2 can you update your funding page as it appears to have not been updated since Feb 2023.
Loved the show loved the concept and it is definitely worth watching!
