Thank you for this long play. Been playing the NSO versions which aren’t translated and playing along with your play through to catch the translations. Grew up playing Legendary Starfy on DS so I’m so happy we’re finally getting an official way of playing the GBA games. Kind of a shame Starfy never took off in the west bc his games are super fun and charming.

I beat the game 100% a few months ago and it was a blast to play. Real shame I couldn't play the rest of the GBA games due to the fact that the language barrier makes it essentially impossible to complete to a westerner who can't understand Japanese save for kuso (yeah really)
They even made the same mistake with Ufouria: The Saga. An English version exists but was only released in Europe. The Wii and Wii U Virtual Console even got that release, even in the west, for the first time. They screwed it up when they only released the Japanese ROM via the Switch eShop and there's no way to translate it. You need to go into some menu and look for screenshots from the English version of Ufouria to know what the in-game Japanese text means. It's called "Hebereke: Enjoy Edition" and there's nothing enjoyable about playing a game in Japanese when an official English release has existed since 1992!

I am also glad of this news. I will be happy to play this game again 😊
damn this is wild in my headphones!
What a charming game. A shame we weren't able to enjoy it in the west
Yeah, it's too bad this series has mostly passed the west by 😢

@@princenathanielsabangan9845 Why doesn't it matter? There's a lot of Japanese text in it.

Hi! Yes, it really is a shame that there are no translations for the rest of the series for this game
Moe is my favorite NPC in this game.
You can also get this by downloading the rom and then patching it with the English rom hacking patch (You’ll need knowledge of an emulator btw)
Hi! Thank you :)
@@Pikachun No problem! Thanks for the awesome video. The world needs more Starfy videos.
THIS is what the ROM should've been on NSO.

@@princenathanielsabangan9845 Yeah. I was aware of that. I'm disappointed, but it's reasonable if there isn't permission involved.
