I have finish this game with no hits too. I finish it just 1 hour because I keep finding new mirrors before I defeat all bosses. And this is a really good game you must play it

A little story about this game:
I remember when I was a little boy I was at a after-school community center for kids and I saw two teenagers playing this in the computer lab with eachother ON the computer. Child me thought it was some cool PC game but I loved the multiplayer aspect and Kirby was such a likable character. And once I saw him transform into other copy abilities it BLEW my mind.
I didn’t know at the time but they were actually playing it on an emulator, I say that to say I found the game the next year in GameStop. Back when GBA were being phased out to make room for DS and Wii stuff and they were like $2-$5 per cart! I played and played and played this game and fell in love with the series. This game started my love for video game OST’s, art and eventually smash brothers. And I still have the same cartridge to this day. Priceless memories.

i loved this game, i kept playing through it and finished it many times, deleting save files to make room for more playthroughs
i do not have the game anymore, but i plan to revisit this game in the future
Once you got past the weird and complex means of traversing the map, this is IMHO the best Kirby game

I'm using this video as a walkthrough, I'm playing on the Switch using NSO legacy content. Noting a discrepancy on the off chance anyone else needs this.
At 51:27 Kirby goes through a door and the room he spawns in is different from mine. I found that I just had to move left through my room and then exit through the door on the far left. As far as I can tell, there are no items to grab in this room or any other doors other than the one Kirby enters from and one that Kirby exits from (2 total) When I did that, I was at the same spot in the video at 51:28.
At 51:50 Kirby once again enters a door and spawns in a different one than mine. I used the rock power to roll down the hill to the left, there's a tomato at the bottom. Then I made my way to the leftmost door in the room, and once I entered it I was caught up with the walkthrough again. I'm not sure if there's anything else in that room, I didn't fully explore it and the door I went through was one-way.
Lastly, at 1:23:56, I wasn't able to grab this chest because the UFO ability had been randomly rolled from swallowing two copy abilities in the previous room. I skipped it at the time, beat the rest of the game, and used the master sword and the map to find my way to the correct side of this room to hit the bomb.

Why is red Kirby still a ufo
I love this game, but there are a few issues I have that keep this from being perfect.
First, the map screen. It should have been laid out more like a Metroidvania one when trying to figure out where to go. Squares and directions the way it is in-game isn't quite specific enough, causing frequent pauses that break the flow of play. Having a zoomed in-game map at the top right of the screen would also be beneficial to the player. Also, the map should be at least available earlier on if you want to keep it in a chest instead of halfway or three quarters through an area.
Second, Kirby dropping his ability every time he gets hit is annoying. Give him the ability to keep his power for at least two to three extra hits before he drops it. Especially in a room where you're surrounded by spikes.
Third, get rid of the extra lives. It's an antiquated system that means nothing when you get a Game Over other than restarting an area from the beginning, which increases player frustration when they lose lives from something that could be entirely out of their control.
Fourth, change some of the chests so that Kirby can earn some scrolls, which will allow him to unlock new moves for his copy abilities. Yes, the food and heart containers are nice to have, but food is almost easy to stumble upon naturally by default. As a result, give either new moves to Kirby for his powers or have him permanently unlock abilities for the copy room, which would open up the second you find one. Include rare abilities as well.
Fifth, a few save rooms to resume areas from said places would be better than resetting progress by warping. Hell, have the Warp Star system be upgraded by warping to specific save spots you've been to before. Castlevania did it!
With the improvements I stated, you could easily have a perfect Kirby Metroidvania/Great Cave Offensive Successor. This game tried to do that, and while there are things I do like, it's far from perfect.

This game was crafted so beautifully. This is basically a 2D Open-World game. You could go through a door late-game and be returned to near the start. There weren’t proper levels, just exploration. You didn’t need to go down a set path to win, you just need to explore. And the AI of the other Kirby’s are way ahead of it’s time. The fact they split up and get bits and pieces of the game finished for you is just so well done. You can even find them doing their own thing while exploring! And this game is actually pretty difficult! It’s not like other Kirby games where it’s; “inhale the thing to win” you actually need to backtrack to access parts and copy abilities. We need a remaster or another Kirby game like this. This is at the top of my list of the best Kirby games, hopefully Kirby and the Forgotten Land can replicate what made this game such a masterful experience.

A 3d world is a open game that is one singular place that contains the entire game, breath of the wild is a great example.
Thier is three types of open type games, open world, open zone and open level. Open zone is a open place but only one of many, sonic frontiers and legends arches are great examples of this formula. Open level are levels that take the format of a level by level gameplay and reform it into 3d, super Mario 3d world and Kirby and the forgotten land are great examples

I’m currently playing this game on my 3ds and I gotta say I’m not rly a fan of the exploration thing, I keep getting lost, then sometime I need a certain ability to progress, then I be doing the same level again and again in circles it rly annoys me but it’s also still pretty fun I like how u can find the other Kirby’s doing their own thing like u said, and the sub games r pretty damn fun I’m only 31% done with the game but so far it’s fun it just gets annoying when I’m lost

Not really no-hit. It is a no-damage run, however. At the credits, Kirby is invincible as he battles Dark Mind when the credits are on screen. That means it doesn't matter whether you get hit or not (the player did get hit several times), you take no damage at all.

@@clovertheunlucky It took a lot of trial and error for me. Doors that you haven't yet entered will shine, so that can be helpful when you are exploring the different paths.

For some reason, I found this game REALLY hard to 100% So, the last time I attempted to do this, I had gotten 98% percent. I went to the the collection room and saw that I found everything. The Spray Paints, The Vitality Hearts, Maps, And Sounds. But I knew I missed some chests somwhere out there.

Probably a translation error. In Japanese, the letters L & R are interchangeable i.e; the same thing so we can assume the translators at the time were either unsure or said “fuck it” and just went with it.

Love how in the Mirror World meta knight and dedede are just perpetually edgy, evil versions of their normal selves, meanwhile mirror kirby isn't evil or anything, he's just useless in combat compared to normal kirby.
