I actually liked watching the Ururuun fight. Dunno why, I just did. Could be that seeing an AI run out of ammo in a Mega Man game is pretty rare, and odd when you think about the fact that it's just trash XD
Carissa - That’s totally fine. It was satisfying for me as well in a way, rendering such an irritating enemy so completely unable to do anything. I just wish the fight didn’t take so ridiculously long. Yes, I know it’s not supposed to be fought this way, but it says something that every other game in the series was well built enough that it could be played in this playstyle.
Is Ururuun spinning the Trash by emitting an electromagnetic field?
I legitimately never knew Ururuun had a finite scrap inventory…
It makes sense though. There’s only so much data the game has to work with, but what surprised me is that making the pieces blow up off-screen removes the junk pieces as a sprite, including the all-important hitbox.
It’s dirty, but we are talking junk after all.
This run really is draining like you said. I could only bring myself to do 2 or 3 attempts per session because I would get so frustrated at losing after fighting Ururuun for 10 minutes. Easily the most frustrating run in the challenge imo even though it's not even close to the most difficult. Nice job getting this one out of the way!
Completely agreed on all points. A 13 minute run is just ridiculous, 9 of which was Ururuun. It’s just way too easy to get impatient in that fight, and Grenade Man’s unpredictability was really gritting on me at times.
Ururuun can die in a trash fire, seriously, the most annoying mid-boss I ever had the displeasure of killing for this challenge.

@@Conandetective4312 When Grenade Man destroys the floor, he says “Crazy Destroyer!” It doesn’t hurt you (unlike the demake). After that, Grenade Man’s AI changes so he can jump from any platform to another, so the second phase can be rather tense. Fortunately, it’s fairly short because Grenade Man takes damage quickly.
If there should ever be a rabbit themed Robot Master; then Mega Man should dispose of it using the holy hand Grenade Man of Antioch.
This may be my favorite pun you’ve made.
