    "I'll take on you. Be ready!" Tengu Man's stage is pretty nice, and Tengu Man himself is a walk in the park.

    Always interested in seeing others doing this challenge with Mega Man 8, and what their difficulty analysis is. Glad this stage was less threatening you you.

    Saturn Tengu Man's theme is your favorite? Didn't know we had a man of high culture doing these challenge runs!
    Maximum respect by the way! Mega Man 8's definitely a wonky game when it comes to missed shots. Even though you made this level look so damned easy, the Rush Jet segment was made to look really satisfying the way you did it.

      Fellon250 is the real hero of the Rush Jet section.

    You make this look easy and complex. Though it's downright hard. I have major respect for ya, and keep up the good content!

    Tengu Man dances gracefully in the sky, but he is all alone up there.
    Doesn't he realize that it takes two to Tengu?

    I’m a bit new to seeing No Miss tacked on to the Perfect Runs, so I’m blown away by how some areas that are easy if you allow missing shots become downright run-ending if you don’t.
    Also, regarding Tengu Man…For some reason, I always have a difficult time avoiding the Yama Arashi. I either jump too early, too late, or I’m just bad at Mega Man 8. Every other attack I can usually dodge safely.

    • @hunam1464
      @hunam1464  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      See, I find the Tornado Hold harder to dodge because you have to jump forward when you see the telegraph. I definitely focus on the visual cue rather than the voice and it seems to work well.

      And yes you’re very right, spraying shots just isn’t an option under these rules. Though this run isn’t one of the worst offenders, not by a long shot.

      The first one I saw was Frost Man, although after I saw just how unforgiving the challenge could get as soon as I saw Astro Man. He isn't one of the worst offenders either, but the fight gets rough. As for who I think the most unforgiving fight would be, I'm guessing either Quick Man or Slash Man.

      As for one of the most elegant fights I've seen...Hard Mode Nitro Man takes the cake. Mastering the art of short hops while getting in a shot each jump feels amazing.

      @@SilentDragonite149 Astro Man’s stage (both of them actually) are fairly tricky to do no-miss. I’ve gone back and added a score of how much the no-miss rule adds to the difficulty.
      And you’re right, Slash Man (#1 most difficult) and Quick Man (#3 most difficult) are stupid hard. Shadow Man (#2 most difficult, aka Nico’s Nemesis) ranks high up there too.

    I figured that most of the outtakes were going to be mostly on the auto-scroller sections. Again, well done. Seems like Clown Man was the worst stage from the first half, huh?
    As for the next stage... what about changing the pacing? In the first half, you did 1 bad stage, then 1 good stage, then 1 bad stage (well, a stage with an overly tedious mini-boss under this rule) and lastly 1 good stage (by good stages I mean that they didn't give you much problems.) Anyway, what if you do it in reverse with the second half (1 good > 1 bad, and so on)?
    That's just my opinion. And this is assuming the second half doesn't have more than 2 bad stages.
    Oh, also, here are some questions:
    -The no miss rule restricts you from having Eddie, Auto, etc. to assist you?
    -Since you brought it up in that video (and I forgot this game existed), what about Mega Man & Bass? (I think I know the answer to this one)

    • @hunam1464
      @hunam1464  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Clown Man was by far the worst stage in the first half.
      I normally for the most part do it in that pacing - one difficult stage, one easy or middle of the road difficulty stage, just to break it up. It certainly makes things better while doing the runs. Mega Man 4 was a bit of an exception- that was by far the hardest game under these rules for me, and there just weren’t many breather stages.
      Also, yes, any of the powerups to make the autoscroller section easier are off limits to me. It wasn’t hard to find my way through the Kappa Warship without powerups anyway, besides the durability of the Telly Dispensers.
      I actually think getting the powerups makes that section more difficult, because it’s a bit of a license for sloppier play, when it’s not really needed.

      Mega Man and Bass - I kind of fear that game tbh, so I would really rather put it off until after other stages I’d rather play, such as 11, Unlimited, and a few miscellaneous stages (Mega Man Killers from 10, Time Man and Oil Man, and the Genesis Unit)

      @@hunam1464 Ohh, I didn't expect you were going to do these! Looking forward to them, *especially* Unlimited.

    What is no miss?

    • @hunam1464
      @hunam1464  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No-Miss refers to one of the rules of this challenge. I am not allowed to take damage, use anything other than uncharged Mega Buster shots, and all shots must hit a destructible (an enemy or projectile) or obstacle. If I break any of these rules, I start again from the start of the stage.
