In this video: Eric Wendorf (jaw harp) and Gabriel Acevedo (bass) doing some jaw harp dubstep!
Are you wondering how to play Jaw harp dubstep, or even just jaw harp or Jew's harp? its so simple. maybe this video will give you some ideas.
Jew’s harp, also called jaw’s harp, juice harp, or guimbard, musical instrument consisting of a thin wood or metal tongue fixed at one end to the base of a two-pronged frame. The player holds the frame to his mouth, which forms a resonance cavity, and activates the instrument’s tongue by either plucking it with the fingers or jerking a string attached to the end of the instrument. The notes produced are limited to the fourth through tenth tones of the harmonic series (in relative pitch, c-e-g-b♭ [approximately]-c′-d′-e′). The tongue produces only one pitch; altering the shape of the mouth cavity isolates the individual harmonics that are components of the tongue’s sound. In 18th-century Europe virtuoso players used instruments with two or more tongues of different pitch, thus allowing a complete musical scale.

That was fantastic! Expected to see a banjo come out suddenly or a fiddle. Great music guys, so enjoyable. The bass musician strumming and drumming was instinctive and added so much to the sound. The drummer should have added some improvisation too.

It is effectively a giant Uke anyway..... Truth is , one would probably get a deeper bass note from it that way as the shack would be come a giant sound box if the tail end of the bass sat against a wall

That's a mouth harp/Jew's harp...many names. Traditional in Country and Western in the Southern parts of the US, mostly

Which is pretty cool and the reason i want one. But this obviously isn't it. Its 2 to 3 notes on a jaw harp and literally one note on bass sloppily slapped.
