@@perkyplants Aww bless you for taking the time to reply - she's over the moon and would love that. I've just left forensics and now I work in the early intervention in psychosis team. The wards were too overwhelming for me - I prefer the slower pace in the community 😂

The elaphoglossum looks interesting, but scary because it's a fern. 😬I would have to grow that in semi-hydro and hope for the best. 🤞🤞I would actually be tempted to trade one with you if I had anything to trade, so if you manage to keep them alive, and I'm sure you will, I would deffo be interested in the future. This darn house move has put all my propagating on the back burner, so my trades have been very limited this year. I will keep you updated as I know that I have some plants you will really like. I can't wait to see where you manage to fit them all 🤣🤣

I can't tell if the Elaphoglossum are happy or not, but they don't seem to be deteriorating just yet.. so I'm hoping they're ok, but apparently they're very slow so who knows what's going on with them. I can feel your excitement! Can't wait to watch them grow.. I bought a Microsorum steerei 'blue star' fern from Crystal Star Nursery in Ontario.. it also has a blue tinge and so far it's doing well. I am keeping it in moss and in a glass "lightbulb" not a closed cloche..
Oooh yes! I know the one, that's also a very cool fern! Thank you for the information about how you care for yours, I haven't ever seen one in real life but I feel like they look similar in like texture and thickness of the leaves!

Hiya! Thanks for watching 🥰 mostly yes you do need an import permit however you don’t when ordering with ecuagenera, I’m not totally sure how it all works, but that side of things is all sorted for you. You just have to place the order and wait for them to arrive 🤭
Hey! So for this order it was about a week I think. So for example, if you placed an order say within the first two weeks of august, your shipment is likely to go out in the august shipment (I think depending on the amount of orders) but if you ordered say around the 20th of august it will more than likely go out in the September shipment. Basically, if you want it shipped a particular month, order as early as possible otherwise you might be waiting a while for it. I have had an order not arrive for 2 months though as there was an issue with that shipment it was meant to be in. I hope that was helpful, it’s a big ol answer 🙈 I would recommend emailing them, they’ve always been really responsive and helpful with me ☺️

Got a Timplowmanii recently from the same place and it acclimatised super easy. It’s now putting out an inflorescence
