    I’ve asked a couple people how they choose between leca and pon. To hear you say that these plants are probably going to leca cause their larger plant, I found interesting. At least you have given an explanation

    • @PlantsNTings
      @PlantsNTings  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im mostly too cheap to put a larger plant in pon lol but I also find my larger plants tend to have larger root structure and for me have done better in a larger substrate

    How much peroxide do you put into the water? 😊

    • @PlantsNTings
      @PlantsNTings  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Umm I don’t measure exactly but I’d say if there was a cup of water maybe 1/4cup of hydrogen peroxide. I’ve seen some do half and half. And you can tell you have enough when you start seeing the air bubbles all over the plant when it’s in the water

    Hi! Can I ask why you add hydrogen peroxide to the water? I imported from ecuagenera and two of them rotted even though I left them in water for about 2 weeks to recover. Wondering if I could have done something differently. Thanks!

    • @PlantsNTings
      @PlantsNTings  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The hydrogen peroxide jus adds more oxygen to the water and it can help reduce bacterial growth..usually after a couple weeks tho I switch it to fertilizer water..Sorry to hear yours rotted..I find it easier to jus leave them in water until they start to grow either roots or leaves then I feel safer to pot them up..which can take several weeks to months sometimes

  • @jessicapetrin1655
    @jessicapetrin1655 ปีที่แล้ว

    How are they looking now a couple of weeks later?

    • @PlantsNTings
      @PlantsNTings  ปีที่แล้ว

      They’re doin pretty good..all have new roots with at least 1 new leaf except for the heterocraspadon it has new roots but no leaves yet

  • @blackluxurians6062
    @blackluxurians6062 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've only ordered from Tropicals Plants once in the past. You think their Plants are better than ecuagenera??

    • @PlantsNTings
      @PlantsNTings  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes definitely. I’ve had a much easier time acclimating the plants and they’re consistently a better quality specimen.

    • @blackluxurians6062
      @blackluxurians6062 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PlantsNTings there's some truth to that. The queen anthurium I got from him is doing wonderful, put out a new left & seems a lot more stronger and we'll acclimated. The 2 queens I got from ecuagenera are now a chonk or half a leaf.
