I can’t imagine caring for 300 plant babies!! I only have 135 plants and I am retired so have lots of time to spend on my plants and I still have periods when I struggle to take care of them. So, like you said, don’t’ beat yourself up over occasional burnout. It’s all part of the ups and downs of life 🙂✨💚 🌱🌱

I totally agree with binning plants. Sadly if it's not sparking joy just get rid. People say oh just sell it but it's not that easy, it's a lot of time and effort then buying boxes to send them etc

Be careful running in shoes that arent proper running shoes, it can wreck your feet. I always recommend people to go to a proper running store and get fitted because everyone's feet are different.

Sell the 1460 docs and get a pair of jadon's, they are the same as the classic 1460 just have a chunkier sole.

What are the books called?

I have been growing house plants for over fifty years. During the pandemic my collection grew to over 250 plants. Way too many for my sanity. I have pared down to half that number and I am really happy with about 125 plants. At 69 years wise, anything over 150 plants would just be stressful. I adore plants and it is very hard to not want/buy more!

I am struggling with autoimmune issues but even more importantly my baby granddaughter is going through some tough health stuff so when I can I’m helping my son and his family so my plants are low on priority.. but they’re still alive 😂 🌱❤️

🌱 I have several autoimmune conditions and often don't have the energy or pain is to high. I've found having most of my collection in pon has really helped as I can tell the hubby if it has no water then give it some 😁. I also do the grouping as much as possible, it definitely helps. Glad to hear you're starting to feel better 😊

Living for Amy’s plant-based mental health talks. ❤ We went away for 2 weeks this month and I really tried to prepare everything well so only a handful of plants would need water mid-way through. I was surprised how most of my plants are just fine for 2 weeks. And the ones I put in my little tent stayed moist the whole time. It takes a load off to know that I could stick all my small plants in my tent and bins, and they’ll all be fine for a couple weeks, at least. Also one other thing that’s made things easier for summer watering is put everything outside that can be. Unfortunately my deck is a thousand degrees and gets vicious winds, but I put most of my succulents and cacti out there and they’re so much easier to water through, unless we get rain and they’re naturally taken care of. Plus I’m pretty sure it’s taken care of all the mealie bugs on them! 👍🏻

Thank you for sharing. I am always up for a good ramble. Is there any other way to communicate? 🤣 I got diagnosed with combined type about two and a half years ago (in the US no less, some feat!), just before I turned 42. It really is a process, I can relate to a lot in this video. A lot of stuff did start making sense, but after some time I realized some of my puzzles pieces still didn't lay quite flat. That didn't happen till I figured out I'm autistic too. Then I had a sort of repeat experience of reviewing my whole life and even more of it making sense, grieving, etc. Only this condition comes with an added layer of even more social stigma (which I was scared of), and certainly I wouldn't be believed anyway. (I was right on that for the most part). 👍 PS - I may also be reexamining all my life decisions, and why did I think it would be a good idea to be a nurse? I guess that was masking me, they make the worst decisions! 🤦‍♀

Underrated video. As a beginner gardener, it's nice to hear other peoples experience with these.

Totally get you on the winter growers - typical aroids are a bit boring to care for over the colder months 😂 i just learned that succulents change colour over the winter so I'm looking forward to that over winter 🤩
